Takfeer is not restricted to the Scholars only !!!

TAKFEER IS NOT RESTRICTED TO THE SCHOLARS ONLY AND IT'S IMPORTANT TO MAKE TAKFEER DUE TO MANY REASONS !

There is a lie floating around that forces people into believing that only a scholar who is firmly grounded in knowledge is allowed to make Takfeer. This is a lie marketed by the wicked “scholars” because they are afraid that the Ummah will make Takfeer on their Kaafir paymasters.

The Ummah has no choice but to differentiate the Muslims from the Kuffaar because Allah said: "Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimūn (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)? What is the matter with you? How judge you?" [68:35-36]

In order to do so, he must be able to know in his heart, that the Kaafir has a false Aqeedah that does not agree with Islam.

If a Muslim sees a man wearing a cross around his neck he can make Takfeer on him because to wear a cross is a Christian concept. Therefore, you don’t have to be an Islamic scholar to make Takfeer on those who wear the cross. Likewise, if a Muslim hears a man saying the Qur'an got it wrong because Jesus was crucified, he is allowed to make Takfeer on this person. He doesn't have to be a scholar to know that a person who contradicts the Qur'an is a Kaafir. Though yes if someone himself is in the doubt and isn't aware of the matters of Kuffr and Shirk with clarity then the person should himself learn first his own Deen before passing a judgement upon others because indeed Takfeer is not a matter that should be played around with unless one is fully aware and has no doubt left.

THE IMPORTANCE OF TAKFEER :

The scholars of Islam have collected many reasons establishing the importance of Takfeer:

REASON #1 - YOU CANNOT MARRY YOUR MUSLIM DAUGHTERS TO INFIDELS.

"O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them, Allāh knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give the disbelievers that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr) and let them (the disbelievers, etc.) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allāh. He judges between you. And Allāh is All-Knowing, All-Wise." [60:10]

Allah commanded us to marry the Muslim women to Muslim men and to never send them back to their disbelieving husbands

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Two religions shall not co-exist in the Arabian Peninsula." [Muwatta Malik (2/63) No. 1862 and Bayhaqi in 'Sunan al-Kubra' (9/350) No. 18751]

REASON #2 - KUFFAAR CANNOT ENTER THE SACRED SANCTUARIES OF MAKKAH AND MADINAH.

On the authority of Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: "Umar bin Al-Khattab informed me that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: "I will expel the Jews and the Christians from the Arabian Peninsula, and I will not leave anyone in it except a Muslim." [Sahih Muslim (3/1388) No. 1767, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/156) No. 1607, Sunan Abu Dawud (3/165) No. 3030, Musnad Ahmad (1/32) No. 219]

Today the apostate leaders in the Arabian Peninsula are sanctioning and promoting the building of Hindu and Christian pagan temples. By doing so, they have betrayed the blood of the Sahabah who died in battles to cleanse the Arabian Peninsula of kuffr, shirk and zandaqa.

REASON #3 - KAAFIR ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE STRATEGIC SECRETS OF THE ISLAMIC STATE.

In this regard, Allah said: "O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand." [3:118]

REASON #4 - KUFFAAR CANNOT INHERIT PROPERTY FROM MUSLIMS.

"Allāh commands you as regards your children's (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half. For parents, a sixth share of inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers or (sisters), the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies he may have bequeathed or debts. You know not which of them, whether your parents or your children, are nearest to you in benefit, (these fixed shares) are ordained by Allāh. And Allāh is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise." [4:11]

"In that which your wives leave, your share is a half if they have no child; but if they leave a child, you get a fourth of that which they leave after payment of legacies that they may have bequeathed or debts. In that which you leave, their (your wives) share is a fourth if you leave no child; but if you leave a child, they get an eighth of that which you leave after payment of legacies that you may have bequeathed or debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of lagacies he (or she) may have bequeathed or debts, so that no loss is caused (to anyone). This is a Commandment from Allāh; and Allāh is Ever AllKnowing, Most-Forbearing." [4:12]

"These are the limits (set by) Allāh (or ordainments as regards laws of inheritance), and whosoever obeys Allāh and His Messenger (Muhammad) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success." [4:13]

REASON #5 - A MUSLIM CANNOT BE KILLED FOR A KAAFIR.

Amr Ibn Shuayb reported from his father from his grandfather that Allah’s Messenger (saws) said: "A Muslim may not be killed for an infidel." It is also reported through the same sanad that the diyat (compensation) of a disbeliever is half that of a Believer. [Tirmidhi 1418, Nasaai 4821, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/671) No. 2659, Musnad Ahmad (2/178) No. 6662, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/173) No. 4506]

If a Kaafir is killed by a Muslim, a Muslim is only supposed to pay blood money.

REASON #6 - WE NEED TO PRACTICE AL-WALA WAL-BARA.

"Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrāhim and those with him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allāh, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allāh Alone," except the saying of Ibrāhim to his father: "Verily, I will ask for forgiveness (from Allāh) for you, but I have no power to do anything for you before Allāh." Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return." [60:4]

Prophet Ibrahim (as) practiced al-Walaa wal-Baraa with his own father.

"You (O Muhammad) will not find any people who believe in Allāh and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allāh and His Messenger (Muhammad), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Rûh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allāh is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allāh. Verily, it is the Party of Allāh that will be the successful." [58:22]

REASON # 7: WE NEED TO TOPPLE THE LEADER IF WE SEE CLEAR KUFFR.

On the authority of Ubada bin As-Samit the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “...topple the leader if you see clear Kuffr...” [Al-Bukhari (7056) and Muslim (1709)]

REASON #8: DURING A JIHAD, WE NEED TO KNOW WHO TO KILL.

"O you who believe! When you go (to fight) in the Cause of Allah, verify (the truth), and say not to anyone who greets you (by embracing Islam) : "You are not a believer"; seeking the perishable goods of the worldly life. There are much more profits and booties with Allah. Even as he is now, so were you yourselves before till Allah conferred on you His Favours (i.e. guided you to Islam), therefore, be cautious in discrimination. Allah is Ever Well-Aware of what you do." [4:94]

It is the ultimate disaster to kill your Muslim brother.

REASON #9 - WE CANNOT PRAY OVER DEAD KUFFAAR.

"But the Messenger (Muhammad) and those who believed with him (in Islāmic Monotheism) strove hard and fought with their wealth and their lives (in Allāh's Cause). Such are they for whom are the good things, and it is they who will be successful." [9:88]

Ali's (ra) father died and the Prophet (saws) told him to bury his father who was a Kaafir. The scholars of Islam say the only time you can go to a funeral of a Kaafir is if they are your parent and were not against Islam.

REASON #10 - WE CANNOT BURY KUFFAAR IN OUR GRAVEYARDS.

The Kuffaar have to be buried with the Christians or other Kuffaar. Muslim cannot be buried in the graveyard of the Kuffaar.
