Translated/Transcribed from the Video : [“Memories Of Jihad 11”]
Witnessing the Nusrah of Allah in the battle field, the Seerah of Shuhadah, the Miraculously acceptance of Dua in the field of Jihad and few more beneficial advices...
The area of Khurasan and a broken house..
A few friends sat in a gathering. They had mountain like responsibilities on their shoulders but their smiling faces were content as if all satisfaction of the world had gathered in their heart.
The fighters of Allah !
Their eyes waited upon one friend whose smiling eyes told that he lost far in his beautiful memories, He was about to start on some inspiring stories and they were waiting for him to narrate.
After some moments that pious soul addressed the listeners with pleasure in his eyes.
‘Friends, I’ll narrate to you the miracles and extraordinary events I witnessed on the path of jihad.
Dua and Istikhara!
The biggest miracle I saw were Dua and Istikhara.
We were just understanding jihad, we had not made Hijrah yet it was just a small time since we got involved in it. We were in work to call, doing translations and things of the sort, when Brother Ehsan took me to meet Sheikh for a two-day tour, a ‘Sharai’ tour. At that time, nobody could explain the jihad.
There were only two or three people whom you could ask about this call, this message, the jihadi group and its objectives. So such chances were much valuable.’ Lost in memories, that young mujhid shared his past. Thought he was young but his knowledge showed that his age was much more than what his physique reflected.
The listeners were young as well, rather so young that some did not even have a beard yet.
“We stayed at a brother’s house, that is another story…” He smiled on saying that. His eyes sometimes down and sometimes addressed the audience, an attractive smile bewitched his words.
“Me and that brother went out together, got cornered then released. It was night and when we reached near our accommodation. Whole area was full of dogs. Well, I do not have much fondness for dogs”, the young mujahid laughed while narrating, with mischief in his eyes. His companions laughed at this too, enjoying this thrilling adventure.
“Anyhow, Allah got us through that. We crossed the rest of the path in panic. A small room was in front. We knew only the name of the Ansaar (helper), the brother whom we wanted to meet. We had hard disks, laptops so we decided to ask him where was that person. We went in and talked to them only to find out that it was police’s room!!”
Upon this nobody could hold that laugh. The narrator laughed as well.
“So, others told us the place and we went there. Two brothers were there in a garden with two other jihadi companions.
We spent night there. Next morning the tour began, we had to go on mountains.
It was our beginning of jihad.
It was raining heavily when we started on.The Ansaar told us that if it continued like this, then we would have to go back. The brother said “Pray to Allah that let it rain around us, and not upon us.” Hus it was so. It was raining around us and we passed amongst it all dry”. He casted a grateful glance towards sky. The listeners praised Allah.
“Our tour concluded smoothly and the clouds rained where they were.
Since then, till now I have seen and heard from companions a miraculous effect of making Dua with faith, especially when there is no resource.
We had a scholar friend who got arrested. He recalled many such instances. They were thrown upon each other in a vehicle, they were in much anguish. Leg of one is hitting chest of other, elbow of one is pressing the face of other. Whole body was in discomfort due to this and there was suffocation too.
Restless, he asked the police or agency men to change their position but they abused him and did not help. He said, he pleaded in misery again and again, then he got ashamed at last and decided to ask from none but Allah. He narrated that then the situation was such that when made Dua that “Allah ease the discomfort in my arm”, it was eased. “Allah ease the discomfort in my leg” and it was eased. “Allah ease the discomfort of my knee” and it was eased.
Such that the whole journey (which he later came to know that it was of hours), got spent in a few moments.
So one thing is Dua and the other is Istikhara.
It is such a miracle that I have experienced, no other thing with such repetitive instances that it never failed us.
Allah’s Apostle (saws) promised that one who does Istikhara never gets failed, never gets disappointed and the one who seeks advice is never ashamed.
So such is the case with Istikharah.
Even if you aren’t able to do anything, just say out the Dua of Istikharah. You will see, Allah makes such ways and arranges your work in such manner, that you will be surprised. Little things of routine, such as the decision to go to the market, start a new work; your mind gets at ease about your decisions by Allah’s mercy. We have seen it multiple times and all sheikhs agree that it seems that Allah hasn’t provided any blessing greater than it in jihad.
There used to be three or four drones at a time and we could not move about. But we needed to move out for some necessary appointment. We made Dua of Istikhara and within minutes Allah not only made way for us but also eased our problems. Within moments clouds covered the area and drones disappeared. It has happened ever so often that I now have firm believe in it. So hold on to it, use it for your little tasks too. It is not only that the hearts get contended. That is only a little part.
Allah promised that Istikhara won’t fail man. He intends and Allah blesses his aim and his work goes smooth. This Dua is not for nothing, ponder over it please. This is a Dua not only for good tidings rather also that if it is good for me then let it be my destiny, bless it, ease it, hence it encompasses all. Thus Allah blesses the tasks that are khair (good), eases the way.
There is another miracle that I want to tell you about. That is,
Fragrance From The Body of Martyrs
Their blood always runs free as if alive. We saw some, also heard about others that their bodies bled for hours and remained fragrant.
I had seen body of brother …. first, there were many of us around him. He went into coma. He was taking his last breaths when a brother switched on the camera. He took his last breath in a way that showed the picture of a very peaceful departure. Then there was fragrance in the whole room, in the court outside the room, in the next room. We all were staring at each other in surprise at such strong fragrance.
His little brother got martyred when he fell in a well, he too had the same fragrance.
We witnessed this miracle of Allah a lot, fragrance and fresh body.
I have never seen a mortified body of any martyr. Bodies are so fresh that their fingers can be moved easily. Their bodies retain the warmth for hours and sometimes for days.
I had a hadith regarding the truth about Dua.
A companion Of Prophet Saww said that I have not come for booty of war. I have come so that I get strike here (pointing at his neck) and enter heaven… And he got hit by an arrow where he had pointed.
“He was sincere towards Allah and Allah fulfilled his wish”
Prophet (saws) said that ! [See: Sunan an-Nasa’I, The Book of Funerals, Chapter: Offering The Funeral Prayer for Martyrs.]
We saw such passion in doctor Muadh. We never saw such desire for martyrdom in anybody else. We were not even close. He cried for it, prayed for it, kept awake for it, he prayed in gatherings and among his companions. Thus Allah gave him martyrdom as he prayed.
Pure Souls
I think nobody has seen his body except me and another brother. Dead bodies were unrecognizable due to bombardment and some were taken by the Ansaar to be buried.
Before burial when we went to a place, we recognized his body. A brother accompanied me (he is martyred as well now). His body had a bowl shaped hollow in his chest, full of blood. He was true with Allah, inshaAllah.
I cannot forget when Saeed Ullah was on bed. Many of his bone broken and a thick bandage on head.
There was dust in his eyes, face burnt, leg fractured, just about to die. We wondered how was he alive. We gave him injections of painkillers but he was whimpering with pain.
In such agony, he said such amazing thing that our eyes got tearful.
He inquired about his brother and we hurried let it pass over as his brother was martyred in bombardment. He asked about some friends, we told him that they got martyred. He got quiet for some time then he spoke, probably the first statement he made to us.
“ان الله طيبا, لا يقبل الا طيبا ”
(Allah is pure and accepts nothing but pure)!
It is strange to have such relation with Allah in this agony.
He got martyred in few days. InshaAllah, he was amongst the pure.
I came across some such wonderful people of Allah in my journey. There were some children whose level of faith, actions, ikhlaq, relation with Allah was such that We could not reach their dirt, and we are not still close to their level of purity of heart. I have seen many but there are some I cannot forget.
Brother Hashaam, Mu’sab, Uthman, Jawaad.
Hamza though was my brother but he belonged to some other world. They all were of pure spirit, as in reality they may not have bothered with their tongue, hands or wealth, even not a thorn prick.
Apple of eyes of their parents and companions, they preached love wherever they went… they loved everyone. Everyone thought that he loves me the most. They were wonderful, their prayers, their regularity in tahajjud in such small age, their unparalleled services, their relation to Allah that cannot be expressed in words…. I often talk about Usman. No Salah did he offer without crying, without hiccups. It was not possible that anyone else will wash clothes or cook meal in a centre where he was.
I have seen Ehtisham. In his last days he had severe backache, for which he even wore a belt and took his pills as well. But it was time of tour and he was helper of brother Zakir. First drone happened that day and another at centre. Our event was not postponed but we dispersed in night.
When he came in first night, he was turning sides in bed. I inquired the matter, he said he had severe backache. I advised him to take leave he said I feel guilty as my mentor expects me to be first line to set example for others by completing the tasks before anyone else so I won’t take leave. I insisted that if you can’t then I can, if you allow. But he still did not agree.
One can accept this even, but they came so late in this painful condition – at around eleven at night. I got up at half past two and saw that he was offering tahajjud; knowing that the next day also requires full on hard work. I thought how can I ever compete such guy. Backache, poor health, still he prays tahajjud in the middle of the night, while there is a whole day of hardship ahead. The next tour was to be full of hard work, no one could rest.
His mother says that when he came home for vacations, she tried to compete in waking before him for tahajjud, but he always woke up before me. She thought she could not compete him.
Such wonderful people taken up by Allah one by one, SubhanAllah.
Our hopes are built by such examples, the hope to destroy system of evil.
If Allah wills then hope of logical conclusion of jihad is also due to this as Allah won’t waste the deeds of such pious people and such blood.
Indeed as an Ummah we have sinned a lot and were dishonest in religion. Maybe only one drop of blood of only one of such people will suffice for not only all of us but for this land. So we hope that Allah will not disregard these.
There are many blessings but the biggest one is these people, these characters, such tahajjud, such crying in front of Allah, such worships, services, affection are just blessings.
I feel this a lot. It is a little part that Allah gives you what you ask. You experiment in these little things and you will find blessings in every center, every house. Problem is that we don’t pay much attention to this. These are just few ones…
Brother Sohail was a blessing. Brother Saad was a blessing.
Sohail was a civil engineer, he could earn up to one and a half lac monthly. He was the gem of his family but left everything for this. He served with all his intelligence in this path. Allah gave him many qualities. He was a unique personality, with lots of aspects. Ideological ability, warfare ability, trainer ability, planning ability, discussion ability, self-purity, thus he was given a lot. But what I felt most unique was his consistency upon ibadaat, as such rarely seen among companions. He has a routine, a difficult one, which we have seen him following. He will pray tahajjud no matter what and won’t miss for years. Similarly, he will follow his Salah in congregation in any condition.
His study time was fix. If he had decided to study for two and a half hours then he would, whatever happens to world. Such consistency is difficult; he would not worry about displeasure if anyone in this regard. Many of our habits got better in his company. We were free style while he was disciplined.
Same consistency he had for his desire of matyrdom. If I talk about us then we had ups and downs in our passion. Sometimes we prayed restlessly for matyrdom, sometimes we did not pray for it for months. While he remained adamant for it for years without break. He would request everyone to pray for his matyrdom whether children, adults, old. This consistency was special to his person.
I felt another thing, though small, everyone may have his own view regarding it, that every companion here had one or two little flaws which he cannot help, a weakness. Means that maybe he is doing some sin or a virtue he is supposed to do but he’s not doing it. Generally there is a sin which is unable to avoid. For example, some are harsh in words, some have poor manners, some are lazy in Salah and some lack routine of recitation of Qur’an. Everyone does some sins which are clung to his soul so as it is painful to refrain from it, these become habits.
I have felt that the friends I knew closely, they got martyrdom within days of refraining from the bad habits. Sometimes it was as if he repented a day and got martyred the next. So he had many virtues but something lacked inside. There are things that I would take as an example, such as a brother had an issue and he rectified it, and this he reached Allah. As a responsible one, you can keep an eye on flaws of companions but get ignorant about your own. I know a brother who was advised for years to be humble. The day, he adopted it, he reached Allah in four or five days. Another brother lacked patience, then he adopted patience upon incitement of others, he remained patient upon mistakes of others, he was martyred in days of becoming patient. There are many examples, some brothers have problem in ibadaat which he was requested to ponder upon and the day he solved it, he reached martyrdom. So look into yourself the issues which you need to rectify. There are hurdles between you and martyrdom. If one ponders, then one will find what’s lacking. Some virtues are easy for us, we are doing since childhood and these become habits so they are not difficult. But some virtues are difficult to manage. These are different for different people. For some it is easy to pray but difficult to control the tongue. For some it is easy to control the tongue but difficult to repress anger.
Similarly, something is difficult for someone else. For some, staying away from home is difficult. Everyone has his own trials. The day you get rid of it Allah accepts this pious soul within days. Every companion should ponder over it. The journey is straight forward. But even though we know our problems, we do not solve them and journey lengthens. Because solution demands hard work and hard work is to control your inner self.
Made for Jannāh
You can tell from day one that there is no hurdle for them. Just sometimes within months or years they get their destination. Some come in high speed, like Qari Bilal. He was not given any special responsibility neither any letter. He was waiting for his call but was not given any responsibility. He remained patient, never made any complaint. No Mujahid will accept to be called just to wait, not to be sent on any mission or anything rather sit around doing chores. But there was something for which he had to wait. He had to be kept free for almost a year. But he was never found complaining. That seemed to be enough for Allah.
Mansoor was like a little Mus’ab. He had a little beard near his martyrdom, his age was this less. Allah arranged many things by him here. In a mission when a vehicle was stuck on road, right at time of mission. There was no way, all ways jammed. If he vehicle was not moved, then our mission would have gotten delayed. That devout man of Allah took the luggage, sat in the vehicle and drove through uneven roads. He was just nineteen or twenty years old by then. There was curfew but he took car through sideways to that far way city in a totally mindlessly devoted way. The vehicle was full of gunpowder and his actions had no logic. He left the vehicle till that city. He was a very mannerly, lovely, loveable child.
Our companions, not only did one, but dozens of missions. By telling this story, I want you, every young and old to be ready for such craziness. Unnecessary logic and estimates, stop men from sacrifice.
If Allah wants, each one of you is equal to a thousand men, if he believes that Allah is with him, his good deeds will open ways for him. The evil system has always been turned down by kids.
Let’s take a break. My speech has gone long. “With a smiling face, the young mujahid ended the gathering of stories of eye witnessed miracles of jihad.
But the listeners were numb, they could not move themselves. These lucky souls belonged to this very so called modern world but they designated the ends of time as their goal and proved that if man does not want to change then there are thousands of excuses. Otherwise it is not impossible to become follower of Sahaba of Rasul Allaah (saws) in the path of Allah..!!
O the worshipper in Haramain (Makkah/Medina), look at us!
You will realize that your worshipping is just a game…
Wet cheeks with tears are praised
But the river of blood is a degree above raised…
You raised your horses in vain..
While we wage war with ours to gain,
For this Deen to remain..
If such are differences between both
Equalizing the two is not worth!
