Lessons from Badr !

"O you who believe! Do not precede Allāh and His Messenger (in decision making), and have Taqwā of Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Hearing, Knowing.” [49:1]

The Messenger of Allah (saws) accompanied by his noble companion hastened to reach the water springs of Badr in order to prevent the polytheists from occupying them. Upon arriving at the springs nearest to him the Messenger (saws) halted the Islamic army, intending to set up camp at that spot.

It was at this point that the noble companion al-Hubab bn. al-Mundhir bin al-Jamuh approached the Prophet (saws) and said, “O Messenger of Allah! Is this a spot that Allah has revealed to you, thus we can neither advance farther nor withdraw from it, or is it (a matter of) opinion, military tactics and stratagem?” The Messenger of Allah (saws) replied: “Nay, it is (a matter of) opinion, military tactics and stratagem.”

Upon hearing this, al-Hubab said, “O Messenger of Allah! In that case, this is not a good place. Let us continue to advance with the people (the Muslim army) until we reach the springs that are nearest to the people (the polytheists). Then we should occupy them and destroy the wells that are (located) beyond them, then build cisterns over the springs and fill them with water. Thereafter, we (can) fight the people and we will have drinking water while they will be deprived thereof.” In response to this counsel the Prophet (saws) said: “Indeed, you have given good advice.”

[Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah, vol.3, pg.36]

There is no aspect of the Prophet's (saws) life that fails to serve as a source of indispensable guidance for those who are journeying to their Lord in search of His Pleasure. The battle of Badr is just one such gold mine that provides the believer with numerous lessons, from which he or she can immensely benefit. This exchange between the Messenger of Allah (saws) and his noble companion al-Hubab is but one incident that occurred during this decisive battle. However, the benefits contained therein are abundant and priceless.

Bearing children... increasing the Ummah in lions !

Islam encourages bearing children for numerous reasons. Perhaps the most significant of these is to increase the Muslim population so as to strengthen the Ummah. The Shari’ah is full of evidences supporting and encouraging this. Seeking to bear children has long been the sunnah of the Prophets and Messengers. Allah’s Prophet Zakariyya (as) supplicated his Lord, as found in more than one place in the noble Quraan – not for dominance or authority, nor gold or silver – but only to be given upright offspring. So he stood and prayed, supplicating his Lord in secret saying, “My Lord, indeed my bones have grown weak, the hair on my head has turned white, and I have never been disappointed, my Lord, when I have called upon You. And I fear for those relatives after me, and my wife is barren, so grant for me, from Your bounty, a successor to inherit from me and from the family of Ya’qub – and make him, my Lord, pleasant (to You and Your slaves).” [19:4-6] And he said, “My Lord, grant to me, from Your bounty, upright offspring. Indeed, You do hear supplication.” [3:38] And he also said, “My Lord, do not leave me alone (without a successor), and You are the best of inheritors.” [21:89]

There is also the wife of ‘Imran, who asked Allah for a child, so He gave Maryam to her and made her a sign for the creation. And He gave ‘Isa (as) to Maryam and made him a prophet and a messenger from amongst those of resolve.B y increasing the number of Muslims kuffr is terrified and the religion further triumphs. This equation was understood by the kuffaar, while it remained absent from heedless minds. As such, we find that their priority in every war against Islam and its people is to target women and children, in order to destroy the “land” and its “crops,” as women are “arable land.” They were only called “a place for sowing seeds” [2:223] because they produce progeny. Destroying the “land” and its “crops” is the policy of a spiteful enemy who seeks to eradicate “La ilaha illallah” from the earth. But it is impossible for him to do so, as the Ummah of Muhammad (saws) as a fertile ummah – not a barren one – and it will remain so until Allah inherits the earth and all that is upon it. However, some women might not comprehend the enemy’s policy in their war against the Muwahhidin, nor do they appreciate that with the birth of every newborn Muslim, a thorn is planted into the throat of kuffr and a dagger is stabbed into the flank of shirk. Nor do these women realize that by increasing the number of Muslims, the despicable are suffocated and the banners of the kuffaar are lowered, just as the voices of the righteous are raised.

Unity between Ahlus-Sunnah and the Rafidhah ???

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5b/07/a9/5b07a99edfc6a15878955530124e15fc.jpg
Question to Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz: Based upon the knowledge of your eminence of the history of the Raafidhah (Shi’ah). What is your position regarding initiating the coming together between Ahlus-Sunnah and between them?

Answer: “The coming together of Ahlus-Sunnah and the Rafidhah is not possible because the beliefs are different. The Belief of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah is to single out Allah alone with worship and sincerely making worship for Allah, The Most Perfect, The Most High, and not to call upon anyone along with Him, neither an Angel drawn close nor a Prophet sent.

And it is Allah who knows the matters of the Unseen. And from the belief of the Ahlus-Sunnah is love of the Companions and He is pleased with them ? and to believe that they are the most excellent of the creation of Allah after the Prophets, and the best of them is Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq, then ‘Umar, then ‘Uthmaan, then ‘Ali. And the Rafidhah oppose this, so there is no reconciling between the two (beliefs), just as there is no reconciling between the Jews, the Christians, the idol-worshippers and the Ahlus-Sunnah. So for this reason there is no coming closer between the Rafidhah and between the Ahlus-Sunnah due to the differing beliefs as we have clarified.”

Question: Is it possible/permissible to fight alongside them (i.e. the Rafidhah) against the foreign enemy such as the communists and so on?

Diseases & Plague... Enjoining Good & Forbidding Evil...

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/11/de/59/11de59d869adba1927b46491d3a79fac.jpg

Imaam Ibn Katheer said: “In the year 478AH, diseases were many – fever and plague in Iraq, the Hijaaz and Shaam. The wild animals died and thereafter the livestock. There was fierce black wind and the trees fell. The Khalifah Al-Muqtadi Bin Amrillaah commanded that enjoining good and forbidding evil be revived and that the musical instruments be smashed, and thus the plague ceased.” [Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah 16/93]

Question to Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz:
Is enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil by the hand an obligation on all Muslims, or is it limited to those in authority and their deputies?

Answer:
To stop wrongdoing is obligated on all Muslims according to their ability, because the Messenger (saws) said, “Anyone of you who sees evil (i.e. that which is declared an evil deed by Islam), then let them stop it with their hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of Imaan.’’ [Muslim, Abu Dawood, at-Tirmidhi and others]

The limits of.....

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/44/0c/50/440c50b3d0f92098bd6e551c35176a0d.jpg
Imaaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: "Akhlaaq (i.e. moral character which is either part of a people’s natural disposition or nurtured them) have limits. Transgression occurs when one goes beyond its limits and deficiency and humiliation occurs when one falls short.

The limits of Anger are: Praiseworthy bravery and having a dislike for despicable and deficient (behaviour etc.). This is its perfection; but when one goes beyond its limits, the person transgresses and oppresses; and if his anger is deficient, he’ll behave in a cowardly manner and will not detest despicable (behaviour etc.).

The limits of Eagerness are: To obtain what suffices one’s (needs) in the worldly affairs and employ the (means) to reach them. Humiliation and a waste of (valuable time or opportunity) occurs when a person lacks eagerness; but when he goes beyond its limits, it leads to vehement greed and unpraiseworthy desire.

The limits of Envy are: (Praiseworthy) competition in seeking after perfection and not wanting the other competitor to excel you; (but) if a person goes beyond its limits, it leads to jealous animosity and oppression by way of which a person wishes that the one he envies is deprived of blessings and is eager to harm him. And if a person lacks (what is required of it), it leads to disesteem and a weakness in one’s ambition. The Prophet (saws) said: “There should be no envy except in two (people): a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he judges by way of it and teaches it to the others.” This type of envy (necessitates praiseworthy) competition between one another and the Haasid (i.e. the one who is envious of his or her competitor) seeks -by way of it- to be similar to the one he envies, whilst not (harbouring that) despised envy which (necessitates that he) wishes that the blessings bestowed upon the envied one should cease to exist.

ARTICLE : Meet Delhi rioters who say they killed Muslims !!!

The smile never went off Nishant Kumar’s face. Only his voice quivered with excitement as he spoke, animatedly with hand gestures, about murdering three Muslim men on February 25.

It was an act of “retaliation”, he insisted.

The previous afternoon – Kumar is certain it was exactly 1 pm – he claimed to have witnessed a “Mohammadan” mob burn down vehicles in the Yamuna Vihar service lane that runs parallel to the Wazirabad-Loni road in North East Delhi. He was at the Bhajanpura petrol pump, fuelling up one of his lorries. He owns two of them.

“Main bhaaga us time jaan bachha ke,” said Kumar. “I fled then to save my life.”

The petrol pump was burnt down soon after. Carcasses of vehicles still lie strewn in the area.

Kumar, 29, lives in Karawal Nagar, located on the other side of the Wazirabad-Loni road. It is one of the localities that was convulsed with the worst communal violence in four decades in India’s capital that has left 47 people dead. Most of those killed are Muslims.

The violence had originally begun on February 24 as a clash between groups supporting and opposing the new Citizenship Amendment Act. The legislation enables Indian citizenship for undocumented non-Muslim migrants from the three neighbouring countries, introducing a religious criterion for Indian citizenship for the first time. With anxieties already running high over a proposed National Register of Citizens, the law’s passage in Parliament in December sparked a wave of protests, mostly by Muslims who fear CAA and NRC could be used together to disenfranchise them.
