Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu
Oh Muslims! Ummah of this honourable Deen!
Sheikh Abu Hamza, the who is disabled, the one who who has lost his
hands and slight, the one who lost his freedom in helping Islam and the
Muslims. We don't say this out of pride or arrogance, rather, to create
public awareness and out of heart ache, pain and desperation [Allahu
Musta'an].
As you know Sheikh Abu Hamza has been in the hands of the Americans for quite some time now, almost 2 years.
As you expect, Abu Hamza has continuously been
denied his basic 'human rights' from the beginning. First it was, not
allowing him to call his family then giving him pre-packed food which he
had difficulty opening [as anyone would who has lost their hands] and
many other oppression and injustices that was afflicted upon him.
Now they have gone even further. The
oppression still continues. He has been in solitary confinement since he
fell into the hands of the Americans. He hasnt seen anyone and is not
allowed to speak to anyone whatsoever. The food he receives is still in
packaging. He is only allowed to speak to his family once a month for 30
minutes. Only recently he was prevented from calling his family for
three months. The reason for this punishment was because he failed to
provide a urine sample. This obviously is absurd and ridiculous. He told
them he would if he could. He told them he cant hold the tube they
provided as he has no hands to hold it. The prison guards said they were
told by the prison doctors that he was able to hold the tube and
insisted on the sample. When sheikh Abu Hamza failed to provide what
they wanted they barred him from calling his family for three months. La
hawl wala quwatta illa billah.
Abu Hamza is told to take medicine, which he
has no idea why. When he asked the prison guard what the medicine is
for, he was told that the medicine is for his blood pressure. Sheikh Abu
Hamza has no need to take the medicine as he has no blood pressure
issues hence he refuses to take it. As a result of his refusal the
prison guards tried to inflict mental torture on the Sheikh by not
allowing him to go to sleep during the night. They keep banging on the
pipe that goes through the Sheikh's cell throughout the night which
prevents him from getting any sleep. After many nights of sleep
depravation, Sheikh Abu Hamza is left with no choice but to take the
medicine they gave him. Allah knows best what they put in the medicine,
however when he takes it, it makes the Sheikh pass out and lose
consciousness. As if all of this is not bad enough, they bring a female
nurse who puts her hands on the sheikh 'to help him' gain consciousness.
Allahu musta'an!
The British foreign office took £1000 from Sheikh Abu Hamza's family after the promise they made that he will be able to receive the money. The money is now in the hands of the Americans who have refused to give the money to the Sheikh on the pretext that he is a terrorist and he is not allowed to have it. The money has remained in their hands for a while now. When the British foreign office are contacted by the family for an explanation on the matter and they try to do something about the situation, the effort has been in vain. They have not helped the family in any way. The family want the money to be given to Sheikh Abu Hamza as a monthly allowance which he can use to call his family or the money should be returned to its rightful owners which is Sheikh Abu Hamza's family.
This is the freedom they talk about. This is
the human rights they talk about. But freedom for whom? Human rights for
whom? It certainly isn't for the one who is truthful, nor for the
Muslim who hasn't hurt a fly. Nor for the one who says, my Lord is Allah
and I am a Muslim. Allahu musta'an!
Anyone who understands this religion and
anyone who has an atom of sincerity would know that these people are
trying to degrade, humiliate and break the noble sheikh at any given
opportunity. Sheikh Abu Hamza jokes about how he is ok. The only thing
now is that he is able to count his ribs. This means he has lost so much
weight for him to be able to be able to count them. Sheikh Abu Hamza
even says that the Americans are trying to kill him slowly. Allahu
musta'an.
These people are forgetting that Allah is in
control of all things and that the day will come without a doubt, they
will be held accountable for their evil actions, for their injustices
and oppression. That is the day Abu Hamza will be able to get his fair
trial from the King of Kings, the Most Just, Allah (swt).
Even after all these trials and tribulations,
alhumdulillah, the Sheikh is still in high spirits. He is still standing
firm. He says that he is strong and that Allah is with him. He
understands that this is the dunya and that everything in this world is
temporary. Whatever hardship he is going through right now, it will come
to pass, in sha Allah. Jannah is waiting for him and for those who are
like him.
We are doing this to make awareness to show
the Muslims and those who claim to be living in a free and democratic
world that actually this claim is false and that this freedom is
actually an illusion. We ask Allah (swt) to help and facilitate our
affairs. We ask all the Muslims to keep Sheikh Abu Hamza and all the
Muslims in your duas. This is the least we can do for those who are
oppressed.
Allah says: O you who believed! Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed Allah is with the patient [2:153]
O you who are patient. Bear a little more. Just a little more remains
May Allah make us of the patient. Ameen!
