Opposed the magnificent storm, the weak spirited stand.
Clenching their vain desires, the frightened, futile, and feeble band.
The mighty storm birthed of thundering hoofs, poised on shoulders of the valiant few, sits.
Thence inevitably, it shall drench, drown & decimate the Hypocrites.
The hypocrites are soft with the disbelievers AND harsh with the believers!
Allah azawjal in the Quran mentions,
“and they resolved that which they were unable to carry out”.(At-Tawbah,74)
Imam Ibn Kathir is his tafseer of this ayah states that this was revealed concerning the story of Al-Julas bin Suwayd who tried to kill his wife's son when the son attempted to expose the nifaq of Ibn Suwayd to RasolAllah (SAW).
It is also mentioned in the tafseer that the same verse was revealed in relation to Abdullah bin Ubayy who plotted unsuccessfully to kill messenger of Allah (SAW). And this attempt of assassination was executed during the battle of Tabuk in which a group of more than ten men came riding towards RasolAllah (SAW). When Hudayfah bin Al-Yaman (RA) alerted RasolAllah (SAW), he shouted at them & out of fear, the munafiqeen ran away. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) then inquired the sahaba about the men. A sahabi replied ,“No, O Allah's messenger! They had masks! However, we know their horses.” RasolAllah (SAW) informed them, “They are the hypocrites until the Day of Resurrection. Do you know what they intended?” The sahaba said “No.” And then the Messenger of Allah replied, “They wanted to mingle with the Messenger of Allah and throw him from the Aqabah.”
Ya Muslimum, take note here that the hypocrites in their attempt to assassinate the messenger of Allah, not only rejected Islam, they also sided with the enemies of Islam & took every step to aid their allies.
The hypocrites of our age have also chosen their allies, their helpers, and their friends. And indeed, their alliance is with the kuffar against the Muslims.

“Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)-'The Muslim community took the lead in bringing the case to law enforcement authorities', Mr. Hooper said.”
“Nihad Awad, CAIR's national executive director, said at a Washington news conference 'The video's about 11 minutes and it's like a farewell. And they did not specify what they would be doing. But just hearing and seeing videos similar on the Internet, it just made me uncomfortable,' Mr. Awad said.”
(The above quotes of CAIR are in relation to the 5 brothers from Virginia who left for Pakistan in November, 2009).
Hamza Yusuf, “....the English, when they roll their eyes, there is a smirk that comes (on their face) when you say something. Really, very subtle things that you notice about the English. There is a cynicism that is particularly Anglo-Saxon in nature. And it is really something, but I'll tell you something, I have come to love these people.”
The various examples above offer a mere glimpse into the nifaaq of the munafiqeen. The example highlight how they choose the side of the kuffar & twist the deen of Allah to suit their selfish desires. Indeed, we have “scholars” of this ummah like Hamza Yusuf who utter nothing but falsehood from their teeth while they intentionally misguide the Muslims against the mujahideen. And how clearly they express their love for the disbelievers & form alliances with them.
Beyond doubt, the munafiqeen are akin to the kuffar. Beyond doubt, the munafiqeen groups under various names/disguises, intentionally mislead the Muslims with their words, their deeds & their planning.
“You will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. ...” (58:22)
"You see many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.” (5:80).
"O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” (5:51).
Brothers and sisters, many in our history has passed like these with nifaaq and not a ounce worth of change did they cause to the deen of Allah. Yes, the numbers of these fasiqeen are many. Yes, there words are rich with subterfuge. And yes, they have considerable resources at their disposal.
Consider, Al-Jadd bin Qay is dead, Abdullah bin Ubaay bin Salul is dead, Al Julas bin Suwayd bin As-Samit is dead, Hajaj bin Yusuf As-Saqafi is dead, and their equivalents in our times are also dead.
Those of the fasiqeen who are still alive, bi'idhniAllah, the raging storm will decimate them. The revolution in our age birthed by those who are fighting with their weapons, and by those who support these fighters with their wealth, their pens, and their salah, has begun. And indeed it is a magnificent storm, a mighty storm. Indeed, it drives a wedge between al-haq and al-batil. Indeed it purifies the aqeedah of those whom Allah desires to guide by cleansing away their weaknesses. Indeed it compels the ummah to choose between the camps of the mujahideen, their supporters and the camp of the fasiqeen. And indeed this choice may divide a father and his son, drive away a brother from his brother and a sister from her sister.
“...And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.”(An-Nisa,141)
“The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell”(Anfal,36).
“...for the earth is Allah's, to give as a heritage to such of His servants as He pleaseth; and the end victory is for the righteous.” (A'raf,128).
