Heartbreaking letter from a Mother, there are MANY more like her!

Lawmakers - Arresting Rohingyas Alive, Returning Dead!

RB News
December 25, 2012

(Translated into English by M.S. Anwar)

A Letter from a Bleeding Heart to RB News...

I, Daw Kyaut Khin at my 41, daughter of U Hla Kyaw, a widow and mother of three children, was born and brought up at the quarter of MyoThuGyi in Sittwe (Akyab), a place where we have been living for generations. On 10th June 2012, when Rakhine terrorists were killing and annihilating Muslims in our quarter, I was struggling to escape the horrific scenes with my two children (my eldest son was away from home on his trip) to save our lives. Meanwhile, my second son, Maung Than Soe @ Mohammed Khan (Son of U Maung Oo Shwe), was arrested and abducted by the two Police officers, Win Tun Oo and Than Shwe, from Police Station No.1.

My Son was trying to escape from the hands of the two Police officers and run away as he was too frightened, he was hacked with sword by the waiting Rakhine (Buddhist) terrorists and consequently got severe injuries on his head and right arm. I could not help and do anything as Police dragged away my son with such injuries. As I was attempting to run for life with my four-year-old child with a broken and bleeding heart, we were beaten and hacked by the Rakhine terrorists. As a result, I had to get my head stitched nine times and my four-year-old daughter also got injuries on her hand.

The Tawbah of Abu Nuwas.

Abu Nuwas was a person who loved to drink and say obscene things, such that he would even make up verses of poetry and sing about inappropriate things. However, he underwent a change and repented to God. People were surprised—Abu Nuwas, who was a known drunkard? Abu Nuwas the lewd man? In a sense, it was almost as though they believed Allah would not forgive him and that Allah would not have mercy on him. So he wrote verses of poetry, and they found these verses under the bed that he died upon. The lines in the poem said:
O my Lord, if the greatness of my sins increase, then I know that Your forgiveness is greater
If only the righteous called on You, then who would the criminal go to?
I call on You my Lord, as you commanded, with reverence
And if You turn my hands away, then who else will have mercy?

What do you feel?
A lot of people when they pray, they have no feelings, no emotions. Yet if this person were to meet their friend, they would probably feel emotions of joy, and when they depart they would feel a sense of sadness, and if they stay away then they start missing him. This array of emotions comes to a person when they meet a friend; yet when it comes to prayers, and we are meeting Allah, we don’t feel anything. This is why it does not have an effect on our actions when we have finished praying. So what should we be feeling?

The third depth: Rajaa:
What is this third depth? Coming to Allah while you desire and hope for His Mercy. And your opinion is that He will insha’Allah accept you and bring you closer to Him. This is the feeling of rajaa. A person who feels this rajaa is higher with Allah, because this has to do with the heart. What is the use of concentrating and understanding when everything is mechanical? The sweetness of the prayer when you come to Him with rajaa is greater.

How can you feel this?

The Greatest Delight...

“The supplication of every one of you will be granted if he does not get impatient.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

One of the most beautiful avenues of communication with our Creator is through the avenue of duaa. We are all aware of the technicalities of duaa but do we ever reflect over the concept itself? Duaa is a mercy, a gift given to us by Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala; can you imagine anyone in a position of authority wanting to reward you for asking anything of them so that they can grant it?
It is indeed an undervalued possession and an underestimated weapon, and if ever we were to take the full advantage of this ni’mah we would realize its true essence, which is coming closer to our Rabb.

The duaa is one that pertains to our aakhirah; specifically asking for the greatest pleasure one can ever receive, the opportunity to see Allah.

The Prophet of Allah (pbuh) narrated, “When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not entered us into Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said: He (Allah) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious.” [Saheeh Muslim]

The Prophet (pbuh) narrated this duaa in a hadeeth in Sunan an-Nisaa’i (authenticated by Shaykh Albaani):
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ وَالشَّوْقَ إِلَى لِقَائِكَ
Allahumma Innī As’aluka Ladhdhata an-Naẓari ilā Wajhika wash Shawqa ilā Liqā’ik
O Allah, I ask You for the delight of gazing at Your Countenance and the eagerness of meeting You.

Word for Word Translation and Analysis

I am Pleased with what Allah has written for Me…

20121217-191530.jpg

We would like to inform the brothers and sisters of the results of Tuesday, December, 11, 2012′s court trial.

Our Sister Nim'ah was sentenced to four to eight years in prison after hours of debate from her lawyers side as well as the US attorney’s side.
And Indeed, all might and power belong with Allah the Most High and He is enough for us and is the best disposer of affairs. Sister Nim’ah stayed strong and was patient through out this ordeal, and she said from her mouth before her sentencing, “I am pleased with what Allah has written for me and keep me in your prayers”

She left that courtroom praising Allah subhanahu wa ta’alla, and she made sujud al shukr (prostration of thanks to Allah) as soon as she heard the sentencing because she knew that it could have been worse. I have never seen a strong woman of faith like Nim’ah. She made us cry tears of sadness and yet we left relieved. Only someone who knew Nim’ah on a personal level can truly appreciate her.

[And the companions of Ibn Taymiyyah used to go to visit him in the prison, while they were feeling saddened by his and their condition, and although they used to go to cheer him up they used to say that when they saw him and look at his face, full of Nur born of Sabr that they forgot all of their troubles due to observe ring the perseverance of the Shaykh with his ordeal.]

On a personal level, that day was a turning point for me because I realized that there are truly no more men left in this country if only two to four showed up for their sister. What has happened to Islam and the Muslims?

And did not Ibn Jawzi say:

Taking Back Our Children!!!

Taking Back Our Children: What the Chesser Custody Case Says About Faith and Parenting in Islamophobic America

I spent one year with my baby before he was taken away. It is the most difficult thing that happened to me Alhamdulillah (Praise to God). I am grateful to Allah for allowing me to spend that little time with my son." - Proscovia Nzabanita

This past January, in a case of overt Islamophobia, Proscovia Nzabanita was stripped of all guardianship rights over her son, whom she calls "H" to protect his privacy. Full legal custody rights were granted to H's paternal grandmother, against the explicit wishes of both biological parents. The Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of Prince William County even ruled that no adult was permitted to bring H to mosque, essentially ordaining that he must be raised Christian. The custody case is being reheard in mid-November in the Circuit Court of Prince William County.

A family torn apart:

Proscovia Nzambanita and Zachary Chesser, both converts to Islam, married in 2009. Zachary has been behind bars since 2010, after pleading guilty to charges of providing material support to terrorists, and communicating threats and soliciting crimes of violence. (He was accused of posting threats online against the creators of "South Park" after an episode depicted the Prophet Mohammed in a bear suit). Proscovia, a Ugandan national, agreed to leave the United States after pleading guilty to making false statements to federal authorities about her husband's whereabouts. Instead of returning to Uganda, where she feared she might be tortured, Proscovia went to Jordan. After signing an agreement that H would be returned to her as soon as she was safely settled, Proscovia left him in the care of her family.

Santa Claus, a Fabrication !!!

The celebration of Christmas is just around the corner, the nuance of Christianity will be felt until the beginning of the turn of the year. At the corners of hotels, food court outlets, malls, to business centers, many have put up a 'tree of light' decorated with attributes typical of Christmas such as figurines and images of Santa Claus, some department stores even require their salesgirls to don Santa Claus's attributes.

Ironically, the pure Christmas celebration which supposedly is to commemorate the birth of the saviour : Jesus Christ, is being replaced by the popularity of the myth and legend of the gifts giver: Santa Claus. The figure of the Lord Jesus, as the central figure, has been marginalized by the hegemony and frenzy of commercialism endorsed by the Liberal Christian West via the chubby character dressed in all red, as well as wearing a topknotted hat.

There are several myths associated with the origins of Santa Claus. As a matter of fact, the figure of the benefactor is named Nicholas, originating from Lycia in Patara (Asia Minor). Nicholas was a bishop who was generous, who liked to help poor people. The myth of Nicholas as a bishop had also been twisted by the pagans as a figure who likes handing out gifts for the good children, as well as punishing the bad children with the power of magic. Santa Nicholas was fond of riding in chariots pulled by reindeers.

Christmas: The Path To Hellfire

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a1/b8/eb/a1b8ebaaacbc8e1e76da78ef460ce429.jpg
In the world today many Muslims, especially those residing in Western countries are exposed to the evil celebration, Christmas. Many take part in the festive celebrations by exchanging cards, gifts, decorating homes, having Christmas turkey dinners and congratulating one another for the coming of season etc. For many the practice is viewed as harmless amusement and pleasure for young and old.

The build up to Christmas is aggressively promoted; businesses deploy every possible tactic to captivate the masses in every spectrum of society, in shopping centers, high streets, television, radio, magazine
and newspapers.

Even though Christmas has been taken hostage by Capitalist to increase business revenues, many still practice this corrupt celebration as a remembrance of the birth of Jesus, who is considered as ‘the incarnation of God’  second third of the trinity, hence it is a celebration of the birth of divinity.

Though the date 25th December is taken by Christians as the birth of Jesus, the origins of this date can be linked to the birthday of the Hindu god Krishna,
and the Greek god of light, Mithra.  This evil celebration is from many angles of origin is a deeply rooted practice of Shirk (worshiping along with the Creator [i.e. Allah]), a crime which Allah will never forgive.

The Prayer & its Effect in Removing Sins & Purifying the Soul

Allah the Sublime said:

Indeed prayer restrains from the obscene and evil deeds. (Surah Ankaboot 29:45)

Allah has explained in this verse that a correct prayer, performed with khushoo’ undoubtedly prevents its performer from obscene and evil deeds and leads him to goodness. Therefore, you will see that the people of the mosque are the most superior of mankind and the best amongst them. The sins and shortcomings of others are many times more than the sins and shortcomings of these people.

If the prayer does not prevent us from obscene and evil deeds then it is necessary to carefully scrutinize the deficiency within it and to correct it. There is no escaping from correcting one’s prayer and there is no fleeing from bringing about khushoo’ within it. So let us look at the causes and let us strive to treat them with the cure. Just like we treat our bodies for their diseases, the treatment of the souls is more appropriate and comes first. And this is what will help us to understand the saying of the Messenger (pbuh): “The first thing for which a servant will be held to account for is his prayer. If it is correct and sound, all the rest of his actions will be correct and sound and if it is corrupt then all the rest of his actions will be corrupt.”(at-Tabaranee in [al-Awsat] and [ad-Diyaa] from Anas (ra). It is also in [Saheeh ul-Jaami'], no. 2570)

HOWEVER LET US BENEFIT FROM THE ARTICLE AS THIS WAS WRITTEN WHILST HE WAS A MUSLIM !

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

Assalamulaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu:

The following article is a reflection on the approaching two-year anniversary of the Arab Spring. While the massive alterations that have occurred across the Muslim world certainly highlight the ummah's shortcomings, I remain optimistic and believe that we are witnessing an initial transition from mulk-jabriyya (reign of tyranny) to the return of khilafah ala manhaj al-nabawiyya (caliphate upon the methodology of prophethood).  The following essay highlights the importance of ignoring the alleged secular-islamic divide and instead utilizing the removal of barriers in the path of dawa to call to the aqeedah and manhaj of ahlus-sunnah. I hope that you may share it across the internet and with others.

As for my state, then I remain mesmerized by the challenges of the Islamic voyage even behind prison walls - al-hamdulillah! I continue clutching the rope of Allah and am enjoying the company, not of the dead around me but of the ones that live eternal through the knowledge they left behind. As the salaf said, "There is a great difference between those who are dead but whose remembrance brings life to the heart and those who are alive but whose company causes the heart to harden."

I ask Allah for His forgiveness and that He rectifies my past misdeeds. As Allah (swt) said Luqman explained, "O my son! Establish the prayer, enjoin good and forbid evil and bear patiently whatever may befall you. (31:17)"  I thank those of you that have enjoined upon me patience and that have assisted my family as we endure this trial. I pray that Allah may reward you all in accordance with the hadith, "Whoever removes the suffering of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his suffering on the Day of Judgment." May Allah unite the ummah upon the truth and place us on His siratal mustaqeem.

Your brother in deen,
Younus Abdullah Muhammad

More details on what SHAYTAAN flees from...

One of the ways of avoiding falling into riyaa’ is to know the things which Shaytaan flees from:

1. When you say: La ilaha illAllaah – wahdahu laa shareeka lahu – lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu – wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. [There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone. He has no partners. To Him belongs the Dominion, to Him belongs all praise and He is capable over all things] a hundred times a day.
The evidence is what has been reported in the Saheeh of al Bukhari and Muslim from Abu Hurayrah (ra) that Allah’s Messenger (saw) mentioned the above words and then said: “He will receive the reward of setting free ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be written for him and a hundred bad deeds will be erased from him. It will be a sanctuary from Shaytaan for him on that day until he reaches the evening. No one will come with something better except one who increases beyond that”.

2. Recitation of Ayat ul-Kursi when you go to bed.
Abu Hurayrah (ra) reported that the Messenger (saw) put him in charge of guarding the zakah of Ramadan and someone would come and take handfuls from the zakah for two nights in succession. On the third night, he (Abu Hurayrah) grabbed him and said: “I will take you to Allah’s Messenger (saw)”. He (the thief) said: “Leave me alone and I will teach you some words by which Allaah will benefit you”. He then said, “When you depart to go to your bed recite ayat ul-Kursi until you complete it. There wil never cease to be from Allah a guardian to protect you and Shaytaan will not approach you until you wake up”. When he explained this to Allahs Messenger (saw), he said, “He has told you the truth althought he is a great liar”. (al-Bukhari).

3. When you spit on your left three times and seek refuge in Allah from the evil of what you see in a dream.

Whose afraid of Terrorists?

By Mohamad Tabbaa
Muslim leaders need to stop apologising and start defending their communities' legal rights. Endless condemnation of terrorism fuels the demand for more, says Mohamad Tabbaa.

The terror raids in Melbourne have revived the question of "home-grown terrorism", and have again focused the spotlight on Melbourne’s Muslim community. In Sydney, the Hyde Park protests have had a similar effect.
As has become increasingly common in the aftermath of such situations, Muslims are pushed in certain directions, and asked to respond to certain criticisms: do you condemn terrorism? Does the group in question represent Muslim views? Does Islam condone violence?

Unfortunately, many Muslims have taken comfort in the usual, reactionary responses to such questions, and many have thus jumped on the condemnation bandwagon as a result. We are hearing more of the common responses put forward by Muslim groups: "Islam denounces violence", "Muslims are law-abiding citizens", "Islam means peace", and a bunch of other catch-cries apologising for the fact that Muslims are not perfect.

Gossiping !!!

When you were propagating it with your tongues, and uttering with your mouths that whereof you had no knowledge, you counted it a little thing, while with Allāh it was very great. (An-Nur 24:15)

O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful. (Al-Hujurat 49:12)

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. (Al-Humuzah 104:1)

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said :”Do you know what backbiting is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He then said, “It is to say something about your brother that he would dislike.” Someone asked him, “But what if what I say is true?” The Messenger of Allah said, “If what you say about him is true, you are backbiting him, but if it is not true then you have slandered him.” (Muslim)

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “A man might speak a word without thinking about its implications, but because of it, he will plunge into the Hellfire further than the distance between the east and west.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (6477) and Sahîh Muslim (2988)]

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said : “Who protects his tongue from unlawful utterances and his private parts from illegal sexual intercourse, I shall guarantee him entrance into Paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever can guarantee to me what is between his two lips and what is between his two legs, I can guarantee for him Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (6474)]'

MIRACLES IN GAZA...

Allahu Akbar... Miracles in the Gaza war.

The story goes that, as had been told by al-fadhil Ustadz Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahma, Executive Chairman of Aman Palestin and also doubles as the President of The Muslim Association of Malaysia who had gone to Gaza on 20-31st January this year (2012). Here are a few true stories and his experiences in Gaza :

Incident 1

A Leader of the Mujaheeds of Gaza told Ustadz Zaik that, in one battle, the commander of the Mujahideen ordered the fighters to not fire at the tanks of the Jews which had entered their territory. Equipped with 6 remaining RPG's, suddenly, the weapon fired at the tank and destroyed it. The commander screamed so that they would not shoot and the fighters said that they did not do it. They said that their weapon suddenly functioned by itself and shot at the target. After that strange scene had ended, the fighters found that the remaining 6 RPG's were still unused! And who shot at those troops??? Allahu Akhbar!

Incident 2

An interview by Israeli TV with the wounded Jewish troops laknatullah who said that they saw the Gaza fighters all dressed in white. Whereas, the uniform of the Hamas fighters are green in colour! Who were those in white???

Jannah... imagine yourself... SUBHANALLAH !!!

Abu Huraira (r.a) reported Allah's Apostle (pbuh) as saying that: Allah the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye has ever seen, and no ear has ever heard, and no human heart has ever perceived but it is testified by the Book of Allah. He then recited: "No soul knows what comfort has been concealed from them, as a reward for what they did" (As-Sajdah 32:17).
[Bukhari book 040, Hadith 6780]

Israeli Rabbi: Israel's Army Must Learn The Evil of Bashar's Army

ISRAEL – Monday, 19th November 2012, a Rabbi of the Jews, Yakob Yoseph, the son of a Chief Rabbi of the Zionist entity and a spiritual advisor for the Odafea Yoseph extreme right party, advised the Israeli army to learn from the army of the Syrian regime, in how to slaughter the enemies and destroy them.

Rabbi Yakob Yoseph said in a sermon delivered in Hebro, “The Israeli army must learn from Syria how to kill and destroy the enemy,” while referring to the militia of Bashar Al-Asad who practice the ugliest crimes in slaughtering the people of Syria who are engaged in a revolution since 20 months ago demanding the stepping down of Bashar's regime.

Unfortunately, perhaps the Rabbi pretends to forget that the Israel occupation forces have been doing various types of crimes, in fact they are even classified as a group that is against humanity, by massacring the Palestinian people all year round due to the occupation. This makes them and the regime of Syria to be equally barbarous, brutal and repressive in slaughtering the people. Plus, the massacres committed by Israel soldiers get the blessings from the Rabbis.

Quran, on Mountains

A book entitled Earth is a basic reference textbook in many universities around the world.  One of its two authors is Professor Emeritus Frank Press.  He was the Science Advisor to former US President Jimmy Carter, and for 12 years was the President of the National Academy of Sciences, Washington, DC. His book says that mountains have underlying roots (Earth, Press and Siever, p. 435.  Also see Earth Science, Tarbuck and Lutgens, p. 157). These roots are deeply embedded in the ground, thus, mountains have a shape like a peg (see figures 7, 8, and 9).

Figure 7: Mountains have deep roots under the surface of the ground. (Earth, Press and Siever, p. 413.)

Figure 8: Schematic section.  The mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground. (Anatomy of the Earth, Cailleux, p. 220.)  (Click on the image to enlarge it.)

BACKBITING !!!

Backbiting, something that is a problem everywhere and that can have detrimental effects on our Ummah and ourselves. So how this is detrimental to us?

On the Day of Judgment our good deeds will be measured against our bad deeds and whichever has the greater balance will effect our outcome on that day.

What does this have to do with sins committed against others?

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying:
"Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (peace be upon him) said: The poor of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakah but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire." [Muslim]

What is being described here is the bankrupt person is the one who runs out of good deeds on the Day of Judgment. How can this be so?

A request from a Prisoner ....

Please spread this stick it in the noses of our " leaders " infact stick everything relevant to the continued oppression against Muslims in their noses, we don't expect anything from them but at least they can be shamed by their inaction to defend those they are meant to support the list is long, death is near, judgement day is heading our way may Allah reward you for caring and sharing-Ameen.

Bismillaah ir-Rahmaan ir-Rahiim,

18th September, 2012

As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatUllaahi wa barakaatuh,

I would ask that this short piece be translated and spread around to the Arabic, French, and Urdu websites, and that it be printed out and passed around at the protests in the various lands in the coming days, in shaa-Allaah. The people need to know about this, because it exposes the true face of America.

The War on Salaah

Bismillaah ir-Rahmaan ir-Rahiim:

A piece of Story of the Muslimahs Struggle, under the Brutality of Crusades

The war imposed in Serbia (a continuation of the Crusade – ed.) had changed the face of Bosnia-Hezergovina. Jornia Toliba village, near the Sava river was devastated. The houses of the villagers transformed into charred debris. Only blackened branches remained of the trees which used to be green. Only Piles of scattered bricks are left of a Masjid. The Serbs only left alone a mimbar and board that reads "Muhammad, SAW".

The Serb militias called “Chetniks” aimed the muzzles of their automatic weapons at the doors and windows of the Masjid when the jama'ahs were performing solat inside. The rattles of gunshots instantly barked out without a pause, overlapped with the bangs of the grenades. The Masjid soon after lost its shape. After that, the Chetniks looked through the rubbles for bodies of their victims, and then poured wine on the remains of the bodies that were no longer intact, and incised two intersecting lines (cross) on their bodies.

On the following day, the corpses of the victims of that barbarous massacre were collected and then put in the coffins by the Muslims who survived. A woman stood near those coffins while weeping. All the members of her family were inside the coffins. All vanished in one day. She herself survived, because when the incident took place, she was in another village.

How did to Serbian Chetniks recognize the Muslims, whereas they dressed the same way as the Serb ethnic? Easy. The Serb militias denuded the people whom they suspected. If the person clearly had circumcision, then he is Muslim. A method like this was used by them in Bilina. The people who were found to be circumsized would be killed by them. They incised two intersecting lines (cross) with knives on the bodies of the Muslims.

HOWEVER LET US BENEFIT FROM THE ARTICLE AS THIS WAS WRITTEN WHILST HE WAS A MUSLIM !

M.I.T. professor and social critic Noam Chomsky explains, in the preface to his alternative classic Fateful Triangle: the United States, Israel and the Palestinians (1999), that when he is forced to title public speeches, sometimes years in advance, he can always resort to a default entry he says, "always works."  That title: "The Current Crisis in the Middle East" constantly retains its relevancy. And so few have been surprised by the recent escalation of conflict between Israelis and Palestinians over the last few days, as militant rockets rained on Israel and Israel retaliated with disproportionate vengeance.
However, as Israel reservists and IDF soldiers mobilize on the Gazan border posturing for full-fledged war, it would do us all well to recognize that today's current crisis in the Middle East represents both the potential spark that could kindle world war and, at the same time, an opportunity to usher in fundamental alterations that could put the region on a pathway to peace.

There is very little likelihood of turning crisis into opportunity however. In order for the international community to capitalize on recent turmoil and deescalate conflict, the United States would have to alter what has been its absolute preconceived pro-Israeli stance. As U.S. politicians stress Israel's rights to self-defense and the mainstream American media continues its typically bias coverage portraying an Israeli state fighting for survival, there is a tendency to view any resolution to the ongoing conflict as necessarily coming solely from the people of the region themselves. And so politicians and pundits have resorted to pressuring Egypt's new Islamic government to exert pressure on Hamas and threatening to cut U.S. aid to Egypt as a means of inducing truce. But such pressure, even if successful, can only provide a temporary fix. The United States would do better to seek a permanent or at least long term solution which would have come from the U.S. itself. The U.S. should call for immediate comprehensive negotiations around a two-state solution.

Life in Belmarsh Dungeons

Based on eye-witness testimony

Sadly, the world has witnessed some of the worst torture and abuse of Muslim captives in prisons such as Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay, Bagram Airbase and countless jails around the world. Indeed, mistreating Muslim captives is part of the western culture and the norm for non-Muslim armies and police forces. It should come as no surprise to any Muslim who can hardly expect fair treatment or justice at the hands of non-Muslim captors. Allah (swt) warns us in the Qur’an,

“How is it that when they gain the upper hand over you, they respect no ties of kinship or covenant …?” [9:8]

Furthermore, despite ardent claims of ‘freedom’ and‘multiculturalism’, the experience of Muslim hostages in Belmarsh prison reveals a different agenda. The plight of the majority of ‘terror suspects’would seem unbelievable to many who are in awe of the Hollywood view of western ruling, prisoners such as Khalid Fowwaz, Adel Bari and Rasheed Ramda held for over a decade without charge; others such as Sheikh Abu Qatada similarly held for six years and countless detainees held indefinitely without charge, trial or explanation. Prisoners tried on secret evidence without any option to defend themselves.

Moreover, the majority of terror trials that do take place are based almost entirely on ‘ideological evidence’, in other words, Muslims are tried purely for what they think, believe or their religious and political views and never for anything that they have actually done. The entire process is designed to punish Muslims who are not western enough and to pressure them into changing their beliefs. Allah (swt) says,

Shaytaan Traps and Shield against him

It is not possible to encompass one of Iblees’ evils, let alone all of them. Since Iblees’ evil is of six types, Iblees remains behind the son of Adam until he gets him to do one or more of these six evils.

THE FIRST EVIL IS THE EVIL OF KUFR AND SHIRK AND ENMITY to Allah and His Messenger (saws). If he gains this from the son of Adam, his moaning is eased, and he rests from his ordeal with this man. Further, this is the first thing Iblees wants from the worshipper (al-’Abd). If Iblees gains this, he makes this person part of his army, one of his soldiers, and he appoints him as a deputy or agent against other human beings. Then, this person becomes one of the deputies or callers of Iblees.

If he despairs of enticing him with the first evil, and if this person is one of those for whom it was written that he would be a Muslim in his mother’s womb, Iblees tries the SECOND CLASS OF EVIL. THIS IS BID’AH (innovation).
Iblees loves Bid’ah more than debauchery and disobedience because the harm of Bid’ah is in the essence of the religion. Moreover, it is an unrepentable sin and is against the call of the messengers and is a call to a message different from the one conveyed by Ar-Rasool. Bid’ah is a gate to Kufr and Shirk. Therefore, if Iblees gains the performance of Bid’ah from a person and makes him one of the people of Bid’ah, he also becomes one of his agents and a caller of his.

If Iblees fails and is unable to trap Al-’Abd at this class, and if he is one of those who were granted by Allah the gift of As-Sunnah and hatred of the people of Bid’ah and error, he proceeds to the THIRD CLASS OF EVIL, which is the class of MAJOR SINS in their various forms.
Iblees is very covetous of letting a person fall into major sin, especially if he is a scholar who is followed. Iblees is covetous of that, so that he may repel people from him and spread his sins and disobedience amongst the people. He uses some people as his agents to spread this person’s sins under the false pretence that this will help them to get closer to Allah. But in fact this person is the deputy of Iblees without knowing it. For those who would like abomination to be spread amongst the believers there is a great torment in this life and in the Hereafter especially if they take charge of spreading about enormities, not out of advice, but by obeying Iblees and being his agent. All this is to repel people from the Scholar and from his benefit.

Quran Commentary (Tafsir)

Quran Commentary (Tafsir): Whosoever expresses his personal opinion in respect of anything in the Qur'an commits a mistake, even if he be right in his opinion."  per-requisites for interpreting the Qur'an. Specialists have laid down that any one attempting a commentary of the Holy Qur'an should be well versed in fifteen subjects.

Commented by Shaikul Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariyaa Kandhalvi (Late)
Abdur Rahman ibn-e-'Auf (ra) narrates that Rasulullah (saws) said, "On the Day of Judgement, three things Will be under the shade of the 'Arsh' (Allah's Throne). One, the Holy Qur'an which will argue with men — the Qur'an has both an apparent and deeper meaning. The second will be 'amanat' (trust). The third will be kinship, which shall proclaim 'O. Allah! have mercy on the person who upheld me, and deprive him of Your mercy whosoever severed me."

The Qur'an has both an apparent and deeper meaning.

Comment by Shaikul Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariyaa
The meaning of the expression "outward and inward of the Qur'an" is evident. The Qur'an has an apparent meaning, which can be understood by all, but the Deeper spiritual significance not understood by everybody. It is in this connection that Rasulullah (saws) has said: "Whosoever expresses his personal opinion in respect of anything in the Qur'an commits a mistake, even if he be right in his opinion."
Some scholars hold that the word 'outward', i.e., the body of the Qur'an, refers to its words, which can be recited properly by everybody and the word 'inward', i.e., spirit, refers to its meanings, and its underlying ideas, the understanding of which varies with the ability of the readers.

Ibn-e-Mas'ud (ra) said; "If you seek knowledge, you should meditate on the meanings of the Quran, because it embodies the history of the former times as well as of the latter."

Naseehah

DIRECTIONS TO GIVING NASEEHAH

“The religion is naseehah.” The people asked, “To whom?” The Prophet (saws) replied, “To Allah and to His Book and to His Messenger and to the leaders of the Muslims and the common folk.” [Collected by Bukhari, Muslim]

It lurks in the deepest, darkest parts of ourselves and waits expectantly for opportunities to strike. It attacks our defences of Iman, strategically tears down our walls of taqwa and ruthlessly diminishes our ihsan, or perfection of worship. Struggling against the evil that is inherent in all of us, is a battle that is fought on a daily, even hourly basis, and like most wars it is seldom won alone.

Allah, through His eternal mercy, has given the believers the most powerful weapon available to assure victory in this constant struggle between good and evil – each other. How many of us have looked to our brothers and sisters in Islam and have seen them straying from the path of Allah, and have turned our faces away? How many of us have seen our brothers erring and said to ourselves, it is none of my business? Well, it is our business for the Prophet (saws) has made it our business. In the hadeeth related by Tamim ad-Dari, the Prophet (saws) said, “The religion is naseehah.” The people asked, “To whom?” The Prophet (saws) replied, “To Allah and to His Book and to His Messenger and to the leaders of the Muslims and the common folk.” [Collected by Bukhari, Muslim]

The Prophet (saws) has equated the entire religion to giving naseehah, but what exactly is naseehah? Naseehah is an Arabic word that is usually translated to mean “sincerity” or “sincere advice”, but actually embodies every type of virtue. As believers, this statement of the Prophet (saws) must be taken to heart. By learning what naseehah is, we can then act on it and bring about positive changes in ourselves and each other.
Naseehah is a wonderful weapon, but like most weapons, if the user does not know how to use it properly, it can cause more harm than good.

How is Naseehah given to Allah?
