Oh People of France
“Would you arrest a man just because he says My Lord is Allaah” ? 

In the last week we have seen a spate of arrests in France targeting the Muslim community for no other crime other than the fact they believe all worship, and obedience should be directed to Allaah alone and not the false god Sarkozy or his disbelieving, crusading government.

Sarkozy who was trailing in the French election polls, looked set to lose to the opposing socialist candidate in May, and now Sarkozy has used the events of Muhammad Merah and the current arrests of innocent Muslims in France as a stepping stone to revive his fledgling political career.

Muslims in France have been living peacefully with their fellow citizen for decades, but the same could not been said for the occupying and Crusading French government which not only continues to kill innocent Muslims in Afghanistan, but has launched a campaign of terror, hate, prejudice and injustice against the Muslim community, targeting the most important symbols of the Islamic faith such as the right to call for the worship and obedience to Allaah alone, the Niqab and Halal meat amongst others in France.
 

In light of recent and historical events, the French public should pause and really contemplate about the French government with its position it has towards Islam and Muslims domestically and abroad. Nicolas Sarkozy appears to have taken multiple roles towards creating a un-healthy climate in France where such events of Muhammad Merah do not cease to exist, but to the contrary, they may continue to increase as counter terrorism experts such as Michael Scheuer and others have repeatedly stated, if the root causes of such events are not removed.

Sarkozy appears to be clothing himself in the robes of Pope Urban by inciting hatred, contempt and suspicion by the whole of France against Muslims and the most fundamental symbols of Islam, he has clothed himself in the amour of Godfrey of Bouillon by participating in indiscriminate killings of innocent men, women and children in the occupation of Afghanistan and his continued support for the oppressive state of Israel.

The French public should not accept the direction that Sarkozy is taking them abroad or domestically, but rather they should call for independent inquires to ask why would a French National breed in “Democratic France”, a country “Full of Freedom, Justice, Liberty and opportunities” for Muslims suddenly wake up one day and go on a shooting spree, targeting amongst others soldiers?, These are painful but truthful questions that must be asked, because the West with France amongst them cannot continue in their policies of supporting dictators and pirate states in the Muslim world, participation in extra judicial killings, arrests and torture whilst at the same time claiming to be beacons of freedom, liberty, human rights and change. Muslims around the world or in France are not blind or stupid; they have seen the injustices in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay and so forth and they have seen the participation wholly or partially of various Western governments in all these events. To arrest Muslims in France because they oppose your hypocritical calls for freedom and justice only serves to further increase the length for the bridge of understanding between the two communities, and the arrests and imprisonment of Islamic scholars and leaders only serves to remove a voice of guidance for the youth in relation to their actions.

In the end we all need to think about the roles we are currently playing and if they are those which are removing the dreadful and oppressive events of Afghanistan, Palestine and the harmful domestic effects of policy, legislations and actions from the so called “War on Terror” because as individuals in the West we are fully or partial responsible due to our unwillingness to change direction and speak out against these events, when all the indications show that they are wrong and unjust.

Oh people of France! Remember that Pope Urban succeeded in dragging the whole of France and Europe into wars that lasted centuries, and if the people do not reign in Sarkozy and his mad crusading policies, then he just may be on his way to following his predecessor and idol.
