The Hadith in which the Prophet’s Khutbah for Ramadān is mentioned was reported by Imam Ibn Khuzaymah in his SAHIH.
It was also reported by Imam Al-Bayhaqi in his Sunan. And it was reported by Imam Ibn Hibbān in his SAHIH.
It was narrated by Salmān Al-Fārisi [ra] that the Messenger of Allah [pbuh] delivered a Khutbah on the last day of the month of Sha'ban.
The Prophet said: (refer to text within quotations marks)
1. RAMADĀN - A GREAT AND BLESSED MONTH
"O you people! A great and blessed month has arrived for you.”
2. LAYLATUL QADR – THE NIGHT OF POWER
“A month wherein is a Night which is better than one thousand months.”
3. THE OBLIGATION OF FASTING
“The fasting during this month is an obligation”;
4. SALĀTUL TARĀWEEH
“And the extra prayers during its nights are voluntary”.
5. INCREASE OF REWARDS IN RAMADĀN
“Anyone who comes closer to Allah through a good deed during this month is as if he performed an obligation during times other than Ramadān, and he who fulfills an obligation in it will be like one who fulfills seventy obligations in another month”.
6. THE MONTH OF PATIENCE
“It is the month of patience, and the reward of patience is paradise”.
7. CARE AND CONCERN FOR OTHERS
“It is the month to visit the poor, the sick and the needy to share their sorrows”.

8. SUSTENANCE OF BELIEVERS IS INCREASED IN RAMADĀN
“It is the month where the nourishment, the sustenance and the income of believing Muslims increase and they are blessed”.
9. IFTĀR IN RAMADĀN
"Anyone who invites others to break their fast at Iftār will have his sins forgiven, and be saved from hell, and will receive a reward equal to the fasting person without reducing that person's reward in any respect."
Some of the followers of the Holy Prophet [pbuh] said:
"Not all of us may find food to share with one so that he could break his fast".
The Noble Prophet [pbuh] said:
"Allah will reward you even if you help the fasting Muslims to break his fast with a date, a sip of water, or a drink of milk...”

10. DIVISION OF THE MONTH INTO THREE PARTS
“It is a month: Its beginning is Mercy, and its middle part is Forgiveness and its last part is freedom from hellfire”.

* FREEDOM FROM HELLFIRE
11. FREE PEOPLE FROM ALL TYPES OF ENSLAVEMENT
"Anyone who helps a slave to be freed, Allah will forgive him and free him from Hell”.
12. INCEASE IN YOURSELVES FOUR CHARACTERISTICS
“Increase in yourselves four characteristics:
Two by which you will please your Lord, and two others by which you cannot live without.
The first two qualities to please Allah (SWT) are to bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, and to ask forgiveness from Allah...
However, the other two things that you cannot live without are to ask Allah (SWT) for Paradise and to ask Him to protect you from Hell-fire...”
13. CONNECTION TO THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
“Anyone who gives water to a Muslim at Iftaar, Allah will give him water during the Day of Judgment from the fountain of the Prophet Muhammad, which will make him not feel thirsty till he enters Paradise".
