Prophet (pbuh) said “This religion, this deen, in the beginning it came as a stranger (ghurabah), and it will return again as a stranger; so welcome glad tidings to the strangers (ghurabah)”-[Sahih Muslim]...
A tribute to the faithful, the selfless, the steadfast... Indeed 'The Strangers'
Yes, Christmas is a terrible slant on Jesus Christ (SAW): it's a Pagan custom, and to make things worse: Jesus was apparently born in September; not December!
Jazak Allah khair Brother Abdullah for your comment, Alhumdulillah !
Indeed Allahu a’laam when our beloved Prophet Jesus was born, some do hold the view that it must’ve been somewhere in Summer, as the Ayah which tells the incident of his birth, i.e. how Maryam (as) shoke the Date Tree and Dates fell for her - it’s known that Dates grow full in hot Summer weather... but then again, indeed Allah alone knows best.
I stand corrected, Dear Sisters! What you said would be right! But yes: celebrating Christmas is a ridiculous custom: mainly because it's a huge money-making business for all the big department stores!
