And yet again... "We Do Not Judge, Allah Alone Can Judge!"

A statement that has become very common on the tongues of many people when mistakes are pointed out and rebutted based on the infallible principles of the Shari’ah: "We do not judge anyone; but rather Allah is the only one who can judge," Indeed, this is either an oversight or a misconception because the utterers of this statement cannot claim that they will never seek justice through the judgement of an arbitrator when their rights are violated!!!

Secondly, this statement of theirs is in opposition to the understanding of those who believed in the Prophet and accompanied him on a daily basis. Umar Ibn Al-Khattab said: "People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah’s Apostle but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good." [Bukhari]

Imaam Abdul Azeez bin Baaz said: "Whoever manifests good, it will be accepted from him and a good suspicion is held about him. And if he manifests evil, it will held against him and an evil suspicion is held about him." [Al-Hulalul Ibriziyyah min at-Taliqaat al-Baziyyah ala Sahih al-Bukhari]

Some misunderstandings about Bible...

In the Quraan Allah informs us that He revealed a number of books including the pages of Prophet Ibraheem (as), the Psalms of Prophet Dawood (as), the Torah of Prophet Musa (as), the Injeel (Gospel) of Prophet ‘Isaa (as) and finally the Quraan of Prophet Muhammad (saws). Of these revealed texts only the Quraan remains intact in its original form. All of the others as complete books have been lost, their remains have survived only as fragments or tampered with in some way so as to make their authenticity doubtful. Nowhere in the Quraan is the Bible even mentioned, to say nothing of its being among the revealed texts of Allah, or as Christian claim “The Word of God.” Further, we know from respected scholars that although some fragments of the Psalms, the Torah and the Injeel (the teachings of Prophet ‘Isaa) may be found in the Bible comprised of the Old and New Testaments, the Bible cannot rightfully be called “The Word of God.” Why is this so?

As one publisher (Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton, Illinois) stated: “The Bible may look like one book, but it is actually sixty-six books in one. Thirty-nine books make up what we call the Old Testament, and twenty-seven make up the New Testament. It is possible that more than forty writers were used by God to write all sixty-six books.” [Quoted from the “Holy Bible” – New Living Translation, Gift & Award Edition, l997, p. vii]

Social Media Addiction !!!

The advent of the internet was a major breakthrough; it brought a great revolution along with it and has been a helpful tool for preachers, seekers of knowledge and workers in all areas of human benefit. It also proved to be a useful means for the idle, small-minded and irresolute people, enabling them to arrive at the object of their quest as well. However, our focus here is on the benefits gained by the workers in the field of Da‘wah, acquisition of useful knowledge and good-doing.

The internet has been a blessing, and so was the introduction of social media platforms as a culmination of this blessing for those who made the best of them and harnessed them to achieve their objectives, disseminate their useful knowledge and promote Da‘wah.

It is painfully unfortunate though that we find that some virtuous people and influential workers in the Da‘wah field have fallen into the trap of social media and became addicted to them until they have become their main concern; they cannot keep away from their social media accounts, compulsively check them for new posts and cannot break free from their chains. They have become like someone who has slipped in mud, the more he tries to get out, the deeper he sinks.

The Weapons of shaytaan!!!

A Greater enemy than the one we see is always the one that will mislead us and take away from the right path. The weapons of shaytaan they are many, but yet we unaware, if we but knew surely we would take heed and note and change ourselves and at least be ready for them!
Here are a few of them:

1. He can dazzle the misguidance
He will mislead in a nice, attractive way. Not to say that is rubbish, don’t listen to that.
E.g. Rather to say take your hijaab off, he will say you like nice with hijaab, but you’ll look better without it, think about the ways you can do your hair, if you took it off, people won’t hate you, you won’t face racism.
"[Iblīs (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all." [Al-Hijr 15:39]

2. The weapon of lying and deceiving
Allah told us that he will lie to us and deceive us, like he did to our parents.
"And O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise, and eat thereof as you both wish, but approach not this tree otherwise you both will be of the Zālimûn (unjust and wrongdoers)." Then Shaitān (Satan) whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals." And he (Shaitān (Satan)) swore by Allāh to them both (saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere well-wishers for you both." [Al-A'raf 7:21]

The Ruqiya which is Shirk..!

276 – ‘Nushratu (type of spell using magic and the Shaytaan) is from the actions of the Shaytaan.’

An-Nushratu is a Ruqiya (type of spell using magic and the Shaytaan).

Al-Khattabi said: ‘An-Nushratu is a type of Ruqiya and cure; it is used to cure someone whom, it is thought has been touched by the Jinn.’

I say: this is a Ruqiya which is not permissible. That which is not from the Qur’aan and the authentic Sunnah, that which is labeled with the word Shirk, in more than one hadeeth, ….. It may be a Shirk which is hidden in some words which have an unknown meaning, or it has a code with unconnected letters of the alphabet, as is seen in some of the amulets which are issued by some swindlers.

As for the Ruqiya which is permissible, it is what is understood from what Bukhari narrated on the authority Qatadah in a mua’laq form, that Qatadah said:
‘I said to Sa’eed ibn al-Mussayib: a man can have magic done upon him, or he can be taken away from his wife, should he be untied from his magic or have Ruqiya done to him?
He said: ‘There is no problem with that, indeed what is intended is correction, as for what benefits then it is not prohibited.

Successful Teachers/Mothers when teaching Deen & Dunya matters...

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz said:
There is no doubt that knowledge is the mainstay on which the foundations of human life are based. And the knowledge that is most worthy to be given importance and concern is the knowledge of the Islamic Shari’ah, because through it is known the wisdom (or purpose) for which Allah created us and sent the Messengers. And by way of this knowledge, we acquire knowledge and awareness regarding Allah and worship Him based on that, as Allah stated: "I (Allah) did not create the Jinn and humankind except to worship me alone." [51:56]

Allah stated: "Indeed, We have sent a Messenger to every nation, saying, Worship Allah alone and keep away from all false deities." [16:36]

Based on these two Ayaat, one knows the wisdom behind the creation of Jinn and humankind, and the wisdom behind the advent of the Messengers. Any nation without sound belief or sound religion is an ignorant nation regardless how advanced and developed it is, as Allah stated: "Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle)." [25:44] A good life is the life of the people of (Islamic) knowledge and faith, as Allah said: "O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life." [8:24]
