Sword VS Pen !

Photo

The sword and the pen are instruments of action and speech. They are the support of nations; any nation bereaved of them will lack in strength. They are the pillars of authority that declare who shall be lowered and who shall be raised (in status), and at the forefront of the dispute that arises from them are what is implied and what has been stated. Thus, I thought about which of them is more worthy of pride and status, so I convened a court gathering to judge between them, wherein I portrayed them as being present for the litigation, granted them an equal footing of honour, and vocalized their inner state.

The pen said:
It shall move its course and set down anchor all in the Name of Allah. By the day as it shows up (the sun’s) brightness, and by the night as it conceals the sun. To proceed; All Praises are due to Allah Alone, Who created the pen, Who honoured it with an oath, Who created it before all else, Who beautified the paper with its branch, just as He beautified branches with leaves. May prayers be on the one who said, “The pens have dried,” for the pen has gained mastery, and he who writes with seven pens is from the class of the book in the seven heavens. Fate and predestination have run their course, and have replaced the tongue in its commandments and forbiddances. How many more thrusts and jabs has it made than the blacks and the whites; it has fought those afar and sliced those anear enough to fill its eyelids – what matches the pen in how the people obey it, and how it walks to them ahead of all the rest?

So the sword said:
In the Name of Allah Who lowers and raises, “and We have sent down iron wherein is mighty power and benefits.” To proceed; All praise is to Allah Who revealed the verse of the sword, by which He increased esteem for the wound, and secured the fear over lands. And may prayers be on the one who used the sword to implement what is written on the pages and who was served by the pens judging against the leaders, and on his family and Companions whose swords were sharpened and their edges were made by slicing the enemies. The sword has great power and strong authority, it wipes the lines of eloquence, and stands to face that cannot be faced; he who resorts to anything else to subdue the enemy will be tired away – and how not, when it’s edge defines the limit between seriousness and play?!

State of the Ummah: In Light of the Prophecies of Prophet (saws)

Photo
A Fundamental Principle
We should know that the Messenger of Allah (saws) was sent by Allah to the whole of mankind, to explain and to make clear to them all that which is good and brings one closer to Allah; and also to explain to them all that is evil and would distance a person from Allah. The reason for this being, that life - with all its variety, colours and manifestations - is built upon two important matters, Firstly: Knowing the good - in order to follow it. Secondly: Knowing the evil - in order to keep away from it.

So, for example, in the matter of Tawhid of Allah - the crux of Islam - it is built on Imaan in Allah and the rejection of Shirk, Kuffr and Taghout. Imaan in Allah is good, whilst belief in at-Taghut is evil. Thus, it is a must to recognize that which is good in order to follow it, whilst knowing also that which is evil so as to keep away from it. Likewise, in the matter of Da'wah to Allah, which is built upon commanding the good (ma'ruf) and forbidding the evil (munkar). To command the ma'ruf is good and is to be followed, whilst munkar is evil and is to be shunned. Likewise, in ittiba' (following of) the Prophet (saws), which is built upon following his Sunnah and turning away from bid'ah. Sunnah is good and is to be followed, whilst bid'ah is evil and is to be shunned.

Events to Befall this 'Ummah
The Prophet (saws) informed us of events which will befall this 'Ummah, some of these narrations speak of good for this 'Ummah - indicating also that the future, power and honour is for the Muslims; and that they will be established in the land. Other narrations warn us against those evil matters, that which would distance us from Allah - the Most High - and make us weak in front of the nations. We will discuss some of these narrations which mention the two types of weaknesses.

Justification - Excuse of the Weak !

Photo

Who among us does not make mistakes? Who among us can dare claim that he is infallible? Every human is expected to make mistakes, and this is not in itself a defect, for the Prophet (saws) said: “All the sons of Aadam constantly commit sins, but the best of those who constantly commit sins are those who are constantly repentant.” [Ibn Maajah] The real defect lies in insisting on making the mistake and adhering to falsehood. The mistake becomes even graver when its doer endeavors to justify it in order to make himself and those around him believe that he did not make a mistake at all.

The Definition of Justification

Justification, in the false sense, is the process of fabricating excuses for one's behavior, thoughts or views, in order to replace the real motives and reasons. It is the process of concealing the reality and truth with a justification that one would accept and approve of, without any reaction or feeling any guilt.

The Evil End of Justification

Justification is an incurable disease that leads to a tragic end, which results in bitter consequences for the doer, as his continuous justification distracts him from correcting himself and reflecting on his defects. Accordingly, he always thinks that he is doing well. If a slave of Allah reaches this state, it becomes difficult to reform him and he loses his self-harmony because he is living in a state of internal psychological warfare in which he is both the executioner and the victim. The one who suffers from this disease is a curse on himself and others, as he is extreme in enmity and frequently argues with others. At this point, he is the most detested of creatures in the sight of Allah. In this respect the Prophet (saws) said: “The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the extremely quarrelsome person.” [Al-Bukhari]

Symbols or Idols ?!?

Photo

One of the most important features of the people of Jahiliyyah throughout time is that for each tribe or group of people, one can find an idol that distinguished them from others.
They glorified this idol and attributed themselves to it exclusively, and by it they vied in pride with the idols of their enemies. They reached the point that the slogan of this group consisted of glorifying this idol over Allah and thus they and their idols gained power and influence among people. Either this idol is glorified among a great many groups, then the group that serves it and adheres to gains strength and influence through it, or the group is powerful, where it imposes venerating and sanctifying its idol over the rest of the groups, and this is often the case. Venerating this idol likely has political aims, where submitting to it is to submit to the group associated with it and serves its orders, claims to represent it, and has the secrets of alleged communication with it through its priests.

Therefore, we find that any nation whose kingdom falls, its king and idol fall too, so that the jahili people worship another idol, which is often the idol of the conquering or surviving nation. Perhaps the story of Abrahah al-Habashi and the Ka’bah is the best example of this. He built his church in Yemen to attract the Arabs to glorify it, thus subjecting them to his influence. When he saw them turning away from it, fulfilling their connection with the Ka’bah and its idols, he prepared an enormous army to demolish it and remove the idols that competed with his own idol, which was worshiped beside Allah. Allah sent His Messenger (saws) with the truth to prohibit people from worshiping all these idols and instead called them to worship Allah alone without partners. Glorified is Allah in His call to reject shirk! Anything worshiped besides Allah is inevitably taken as His equal, whether it is a Prophet, a beloved king, a righteous worshiper, an arrogant ruler, a deceiving priest, an obeyed law, a grave, tree, or rock from which blessings are sought, or a dreadful devil and the so forth.

NEWS : Yemen situation a 'shame on humanity' !!!

The war in Yemen has caused more than 8,000 deaths since March 2015 - a situation worsened by a cholera epidemic that has killed 1,828 people in the past three months!

Sanaa (AFP) - The head of anti-poverty NGO CARE International on Saturday denounced the humanitarian crisis in war-torn Yemen, which is also suffering from a cholera epidemic, as "an absolute shame on humanity".

The conflict in Yemen has escalated dramatically since March 2015, when Saudi-led forces launched a military operation in support of the government against the Iran-backed Huthi rebels.

"We are now in the 21st century and the current situation is an absolute shame on humanity," Wolfgang Jamann told reporters after a five-day visit to the impoverished Arabian Peninsula country.

"Thousands of civilians have died since the start of the conflict and millions more have been displaced inside the country," he told a news conference.

Jamann said "60 percent of the country is food insecure and over half the population is unable (to access) safe drinking water".

Renewing Faith through Fear and Hope !

Photo
• The hope of the believers which is accompanied with good deeds; Allah Says: "Indeed, those who have believed and those who have emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah - those hope (i.e., expect) the mercy of Allah." [2:218] They believed, gave up their homes, migrated to strange countries, fought for the sake of Allah The Almighty, sacrificed, suffered the perils of war, and put up with the hunger, thirst and exhaustion that accompany Jihaad (struggle). Such people can rightly hope for the mercy of Allah The Almighty and for His Paradise.
• Hope for the forgiveness of sins; Allah Says: "Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves (i.e., by sinning) do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins (i.e., for those who repent and correct themselves).’" [39:53] Regardless of how many sins one has committed, minor or major, one should never despair of the forgiveness of Allah The Almighty.
• Allah Says: "Say, “To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?” Say, “To Allah.” He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves (that Day) do not believe." [6:12] Imaam ibn Jareer At-Tabari commented on this verse saying, “Allah has decreed that He will be merciful with His slaves, but how was His mercy expressed? He did not punish them although they deserved it (due to their sins); rather He delayed and accepted their repentance, which made them have hope.”

Garments of Taqwaa...

Photo

There is a famous story about an emperor. This emperor was cruel and unjust to his people, so a tailor decided to play a trick on him. He went to the king and offered to make for him the finest clothes ever. But instead of making a suit for him, he just pretended to make a suit, and fooled the emperor into thinking that he was working hard by taking a long time. Eventually after a long period of waiting, he gave the emperor a handful of air and told him that it is the best set of clothes ever made. In fact, the tailor told him that the clothes are so fine to the point that the wearer doesn't even feel that he is wearing them. Blinded by his own arrogance and not wanting to appear dumb in the eyes of the tailor, the emperor immediately showed happiness with the ‘new suit’ and ordered a parade to take place in the town so that he could show his subjects his new appearance. Of course, everyone was too scared to tell this tyrant that he was actually naked. Instead, they salute and flatter him—all except for one boy. He was too young to know of social convention or to have fear of tyranny, thus he pointed out to the truth and said what others could not dare to express. Amazingly, this act, at least for that moment, made the fear change its place. Fear so overwhelmed the emperor he became astonished, dumb founded. His surprised subjects, on the other hand, easily slid out of their worries, ridiculed him and laughed so hard at what he gotten himself into.

While this emperor seemed to have been blinded by his own arrogance, the reality showed us that he was, in fact, blinded by his own fears; and his people, whose opinions he feared, were also held back by their own fears—reality showed his arrogance not to be a sign of strength, but one of weakness. This situation represents a community paralyzed out of weakness and fear, all because of an attitude that had gotten used to the status quo.

Only Islam can restore peace and tranquillity !

Europe was the scene of a conflict between religion and science, because the church there had arbitrarily embraced certain theories and dogmas (inheriting them from Greece and the Romans) and insisted that they were sacred and gospel truths. So when the theoretical and empirical science demonstrated the error and fallacy of the theories, people there had no other course but to believe in science and disbelieve in the church as well as in the religion these churchmen stood for. The war between religion and science intensified and then enthusiasm to get free from the dominance of these religious man increased as the church in Europe conferred upon itself divine power and proceeded to enforce it in a most tyrannical manner. Thus, for the people there religion came to signify an abominable ghoul that harassed them in their working no less than their sleeping hours. It exacted from men costly extortion and reduced them to an abject state of subordination to the church men, besides calling them to swallow nonsense and the superstitions in the name of God. The torturing of scientists and burning them alive because they said, for instance, that the earth was round, was the ugliest of crimes that made it a sacred duty of every sensible, free-thinking and conscientious individual there to abominable ghoul or at least put it in chains so as not to let it ever again harass and oppress the people besides harming the cause of religion by misrepresenting it and making others feel as if religion contained nothing but falsehood and untruth.

But what about us, we who live in the Islamic East? Why should we separate science from religion or hold that the two are at variance and at war with each other? Is there even a single scientific fact which has been found to contradict Islam and its basic creed? (No; see “The Book that changed the world”). Were scientists ever subjected to persecution in the domain of Islam? The whole history of Islām is before us. It testifies that there have been great doctors, astronomers, mathematicians, physicists as well as chemists but never were they persecuted for their views. There is no trace of any conflict between science and their religious beliefs to be found in the minds of these great Muslim scientists. Nor did there exist any hostilities between them and the ruling authorities such as might have led to their suffering or burning alive…

Sufficient are these Ayaat !!!

Question: O virtuous Shaykh of us. What is the best way to answer the one who warns from the consequences of rushing towards Jihad in ‘Iraq and advices (Muslimeen) to wait with that? Then we see who follows this thought and opinion being happy when Baghdad falls (in the hands of the occupiers) saying: “I’m impressed by so an so Shaykh, because they warned from rushing and they advised the youth to be careful and to wait, and if they had listened to them, they would not have been killed and so and so did not happened to them?” Jazakum Allahu khayra.

Answer: My beloved brother, contemplating on the Ayaat of the Noble Qur’an while comparing it to a lot of the actions of the Muslimeen, or those who claim to be Muslimeen, during the Crusader’s war since it started in Afghanistan till today, he will be amazed by many of the matching descriptions mentioned by Allah about them.

And thought wrongly of Allah – the thought of ignorance...

Photo
And this belief was explained as their belief that Allah does not help His Messenger and that His Deen will disappear. And it was explained as meaning that they thought that what had befallen them was not from the Qadar of Allah, nor was there any wisdom behind it. It was also explained as being a denial of wisdom, a denial of Qadar and a denial that the Deen of Allah will exceed. And this ad belief was the belief of the disbelievers and the munafiqeen mentioned in Surah al-Fath. And this belief was only described as a bad and ignorant belief because it entails thinking of Allah that which is not befitting to Him, His Attributes and Names, His Wisdom, His praise, His Oneness in matters of Lordship and worship and His Truthfulness in fulfilling His Promises. And whoever believed that He would not make the Deen of His Messenger successful (over all others) and that He would cause falsehood to triumph permanently over truth, causing the truth thereby to disappear completely and not to reappear thereafter has believed evil of Allah and attributed to Him things not befitting His Perfection and His Divine Attributes. And whoever denied that this was from His Qadar does not know Him, nor does he know His Kingdom. And likewise, whoever denied the wisdom of it which demands praise and thanks to Allah, but rather, claimed that it was something that Allah allows to happen without reason or purpose, then that is the belief of those who reject (i.e. the disbelievers) – and woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.

Al-‘Udhr bil-Jahl in Asl ad-Deen !?!

For Educational purpose only and to raise Intellectual and Political awareness!

[By ash-Shaykh al-‘Allamah ‘Abdul-‘Aziz at-Tuwayli’i (rahimahUllah)]

All praise belongs to Allah, and Salaah and Salaam be upon the Messenger of Allah, to proceed:

Indeed, from the matters where differences and mistakes have increased is the issue of “al-‘udhr bil-jahl” (i.e. excuse of ignorance) in Asl ad-Deen (the foundation of the Deen), and many of those who view that the jahil who commits major shirk is excused, make the basis and reason for that his affiliation to Islam and his claim that he’s from the Muslimeen. So if he worshiped other than Allah, and made du’a to it and sacrificed to it, and was raised upon that since his birth till his death, and he would profess with his tongue “I am a Muslim”, he would consider him from the Muslimeen, and if he worshiped other than Allah, and made du’a to it, and sacrificed to it, and would profess with his tongue, “I’m upon the way that Allah has commanded me to be upon”, he would not excuse him, and this is from the contradictions, without a doubt. And if he is cited with the comparison between the grave-worshipers and the idol worshipers, and not excusing either one of them with ignorance, he made the affiliation to Islam the difference (between the two), and due to this affiliation (to Islam), he rules upon the idol worshiper with Kuffr, and rules upon the grave worshiper with Islam.

And affiliation to Islam, if it meant solely ascribing to Islam without the rest of the obligations (like Salaah etc…), then it is a ruling without any proof for it, and if it means ascribing to the Deen of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, whether that affiliation was to the Islam which Muhammad (saws) was sent with, or too judaism or christianity or other laws which the Messengers were sent with, The one who says this statement must rule the ignorant ones among the jews and christians and other than them with Islam, because they attribute themselves to the Deen of Allah which He ordered them to follow, and they fell into nullifiers due to ignorance, and whoever excuse those has disbelieved and left fold of Islam, and denied the authentic and explicit (texts) from the evidences.

Modesty is a Part of Faith

Photo
It was related on the authority of Abu Mas'ood Al-Badri (ra) that: "The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "One of the admonitions of the previous prophets which has been conveyed to people is that if you have no shame, you can do whatever you wish." [Al-Bukhari]

Explanation of the Hadith:
The saying of the Messenger (saws): "…If you feel no shame, you can do whatever you wish" is in the command form, and can be looked at from two angles, each conveying a distinct meaning:

(1) The first is that it is a form of threat and a challenge thrown down against those who engage in inappropriate behavior. Such people have no shame in front of Allah and therefore, no matter what course they take, it would not make any real difference. In this case, it would be as if the Hadith is stating: "If you do not feel any shame from doing these prohibited acts, then do whatever you wish…" Modesty is the quality that prevents one from immodest behavior, and the lack of it will only cause one to increase in distancing himself from Allah and make him indifferent to creed or deed.

(2) The second meaning pertains to doing that which is lawful. That is, if the action that one is about to do is not within the category of the unlawful, and we are not ashamed of doing the act in front of Allah or the people, then we are free to do it. However, if we are ashamed to do it, then we should not. The Hadeeth gives a measuring stick by which we can evaluate actions, both privately and publicly.

How to remain Steadfast after Ramadaan?

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/28/c0/e9/28c0e901f7615b1d39676a3769c06800.png Let your example in Ramadaan be like that of an infant who is put in an incubator to save his life and receive the necessary means of sustenance and survival. After ending the stay in the incubator, the baby comes out to the world to grow up, not to die and self-destruct.
Here are some means to continue observing good deeds after Ramadaan:

1) Offering the five daily prayers especially Fajr prayer in congregation (for Men):
We proved to ourselves during Ramadaan that we are capable of performing congregational prayers in the mosque and are able to pray Fajr prayers daily. So, let us observe the five daily prayers at the Masjid after Ramadaan according to the best of our ability. If we cannot do so, then, we should perform these prayers at the beginning of their allocated time, besides performing the regular voluntary prayers. You should do your best not to abandon them and give Shaytaan a chance to seize you. Be steadfast in this regard.

2) The Quraan:
Do not be one of those who recite the Quraan only during Ramadaan. The Quraan was revealed to be recited in Ramadaan and at other times. In Ramadaan, you were able to read a Juz’ (part), two Juz’s or three Juz’s every day and specified a time for doing so. So, try to specify a portion of the Quraan to be recited daily even if it is just one page. Prove to Shaytaan that you really have changed!

3) Remembering Allah:
Do your best after Ramadaan to regularly observe Adhkaar (words of remembrance) in the morning and evening, while sleeping, going outside the home, and so on. You should utilize your spare time on your way to work by remembering Allah.

4) Good Company:
You should choose the company of those who help you to obey Allah because birds of a feather flock together. On the Day of Resurrection, friends will turn into enemies except those who used to fear Allah. Believers support each other like the bricks in a building. So, you should look for a friend who would warn you if you do evil and urge you to do good deeds. Just as you expect to benefit from a well-mannered, righteous friend, your friend expects the same from you to help him to perform acts of righteousness. So, intend to cultivate goodness in yourself to achieve what you want.

5) Supplication:
Allah Says:
And when My servants ask you, (O Muhammad), concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” [2:186]
And your Lord Says, Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” [40:60]
There are many Ayaat and Ahadith that mention the virtue and merit of supplication. So, be keen to supplicate Allah after Ramadaan. Do you not have a need after Ramadaan? All of us are in need of Allah who is free of need and Praiseworthy. So, try to specify a time for daily supplication even if only for two minutes after any prayer or at the end of your day. It is important not to let a day pass without supplicating and beseeching Allah. You should ask Him to make you steadfast on the path of obeying Him.

6) Praying Tahajjud (voluntary prayers at last third of night) or doing Qiyaam (worshiping Allah entire night):
You should not deprive yourself from offering Tahajjud or doing Qiyaam at night even if for one day per week. Even if standing in prayer at night during Ramadaan has ended, these voluntary night prayers still remain throughout the year. Remind yourselves of Allah's Words: "They used to sleep but little of the night." [51:17]

7) Voluntary Fasting:
Do not forget Fasting, you should try to Fast every Monday and Thursday and the three days in the middle of every Hijri month: 13th, 14th and 15th, days of `Aashoora and `Arafat. And there still remains the 6 days of Shawwal.

8) Da‘wah to Allah:
It is to be of the best contributing factors to remain steadfast on the right path after Ramadaan. You should be concerned with your religion and work for it in order to practically prove the truthfulness of your repentance and returning to Allah. When Allah sees you working for His sake, be sure that He will make you firm on the right path by His will and power. As we said, He is The Appreciative Lord Who bestows favors by enabling good deeds and then gives reward for doing them.

So, choose the acts of obedience that you can do after Ramadaan, be steadfast and upright upon the Deen of Allah at all times, it is important to make changes in your life for the better and to overcome yourself and Shaytaan who enjoins you to do evil deeds, for you do not know when you'll meet the Angel of Death. Beware of him taking you while you are in a state of disobedience,

Mawaani’ of Takfeer...

Before knowing the Mawaani we must know the reasons for Kuffr, and they are: ‘Itiqaad (belief), Qawl (speech), ‘Amal (action), and Shakk (doubt).

No doubt the definition of Kuffr is every speech or act or belief which has been stated in the texts of Takfeer and expels the owner of it from the Millah.

Its classification is as follows:
Mawaani to the label of shirk, and that is ikrah, as He says, "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief, except for one who is forced while his heart is secure in faith."

And Mawaani of Takfeer in masa’il khafiyyah (obscure issues), which are not known except in specific circumstances, and they mean issues of people of hawa and bid’a, like the issues of Asma wa Sifat (Names and Attributes), and issues in the name of Imaan, and issues of Qadar (destiny), and other issues that are not extreme  in anything preceding. They (the Mawaani) are:
1. Jahl (Ignorance)
2. Ta’weel (Interpretation)
3. Taqleed (Blind following)
4. Ikrah (Compulsion)
5. Absence of texts that are necessary to learn the truth
6. Or it reached him but it has not been presented to him
7. Or it has been presented to him but he was not able to understand
8. Or it has been presented to him but a contrary argument was presented imposing incorrect Ta’weel (interpretation) on him
9. Or an ambiguity for which he is excused with Allah prevented him
10. Or he was a mujtahid in search for truth

Allah Guides us to Eternal Success and Happiness

Photo
Allah guides us toward eternal success and hence, happiness. He tells us to read and follow the Qur’an so that we can believe and worship Him as the Only God, obey His Messenger (saws) by following His Sunnah and be righteous in this world. In this way, we attain His Mercy. He directs us to follow the Qur’an and not the desires of those who know not [45:18]. He guides us to pray for a well-balanced life to be happy both here and in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Hell-Fire [2:201]. In line with this, He guides us to work for our material and spiritual well-being both in this life and the world to come. He says:
“But seek, with the wealth which Allah has bestowed on you, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget your portion in this World. But do you good, as Allah has been good to you, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land, for Allah loves not those who do mischief.” [28:77]

“And when the prayer is finished, then may you disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah: and remember Allah frequently that you may prosper.” [62:10]

Though we are to seek a good life here on earth and in the world to come, Allah the Almighty guides us to prefer the latter life. The life in the Hereafter is eternal and lasting compared to this temporal world. He says:
“Nothing is the life of this world but play and amusement. But for better is the Home in the Hereafter for those who are pious. Will you not then understand?” [6:32]

“O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that, when you are asked to go forth in the Cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth? Do you prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.” [9:38]

The right place for the Mockers of the Deen...!

Photo
For Educational purpose only and to raise Intellectual and Political awareness!

[By ash-Shaykh al-Muhaddith Ahmad Muhammad Shakir (rahimahullah)]
(In his Tafseer of the Ayah: "…and seek their counsel in affairs…" and the Ayah: "…whose affairs are settled by mutual consultation…")

The mockers of the Deen at this time – scientists and others – took them (the Ayaat mentioned) as a means of misleading others in the symbolic interpretation to agree with the Europeans on the constitutional system method, which they claim, and cheat people by naming it the democratic system. So these mockers took these two verses as a motto, or slogan, to cheat the Islamic Ummah, people, and everyone who returns to Islam. They say a right word but they intend falsehood. They say: “Islam calls to a consultation, and other such expressions.” Islam calls to consultation, but what is the consultation that Islām calls to?

Allah says to His Prophet (saws): "and seek their counsel in affairs. And when you have come to a decision place your trust in Allah alone." The meaning of this verse is very clear, and obvious. It does not need any interpretation, or any symbolic interpretation. It is an order to the Prophet (saws), then to the Khalifah after him: That is, to examine the opinions of his companions, who are the knowledgeable, men of intelligence – to examine their opinions on the issues and matters which can be argued and the matters in which they can exercise a judgement. He then chooses what he thinks to be right, or in the best or most interest, useful, then to resolve on doing it, unlimited, unrestricted by the opinions of any group, or any limited number, or the majority, or the minority. When he resolves, he trusts in Allah alone. If he resolves, he will trust in Allah, then do what he determines.
