Prophet (pbuh) said “This religion, this deen, in the beginning it came as a stranger (ghurabah), and it will return again as a stranger; so welcome glad tidings to the strangers (ghurabah)”-[Sahih Muslim]... A tribute to the faithful, the selfless, the steadfast... Indeed 'The Strangers'

A debate with the Jews !
I will mention a debate that occurred
between me and some jews. I said to one of them – after he had denied
the Prophethood of the Prophet (saws), ‘Your
denial of his Prophethood entails slandering the Lord of the universe,
belittling Him, and attributing to Him the worst of all blemishes.
Before the discussion with you was about the Messenger and now it is
about the Lord being free of all imperfections.’
He said, ‘How can you say such?’
So I said to him, ‘Clarifying such is my responsibility, so listen now. You claim that he was not a Messenger rather he was a conqueror king who conquered the people by his sword until they yielded to him. And he spent twenty three years lying against Allah and saying, ‘I was revealed to,’ and he was not revealed to. ‘He commanded me,’ and He did not command him. ‘He forbade me,’ and He did not forbid him. ‘Allah said such and such,’ and He did not say such. ‘He made such and such Halaal, such and such Haraam, such and such Waajib, and such and such Makruh,’ and He did not make any of such Halaal nor Haraam nor Waajib, rather he did these things on his own by lying and fabricating things against Allah, His Prophets, and His angels.”
“Thereafter he spent twenty three years apathetically killing His slaves, spilling their blood, taking their wealth, enslaving their women and children, while they had no sin save rejection of and opposition to him, and throughout all this he says, ‘Allah ordered me with this,’ and Allah did not order him.” “And in addition to this, he endeavors to change the Deen of the Messengers, abrogate their laws, and undue their traditions. This is his condition in your view. So either the Lord knows about this, hears of it and his condition, sees and witnesses him, or not. So if you claim that all this is away from Allah, and He did not know of it, then you have slandered the Lord and attributed extreme ignorance to Him, since He did not hear of this great event, nor know of it, nor see it. And if you claim that rather this occurred with His knowledge, awareness, and under His vision, you will be asked if He was able to change such, hold him back, and prevent him, or not. If you say that He was incapable of such, you have attributed weakness to Him and negated His Ruboobiyyah, thereby this human along with his followers were more capable of achieving their desires. And if you say that rather He was capable but He consolidated him, supported him, gave him mastery over the creation, and did not support His Awliya and the followers of His Messengers, then you have attributed to Him the worst of foolishness, oppression, and lack of wisdom. That would be the case if He merely allowed him to do what he did. So what if He Himself was his support, the answerer of his supplications, the destroyer of those opposing and contradicting him, the confirmer of his claim with many forms of sanction, and the revealer of signs upon his hands – signs that if the people of the earth were all to gather and work together, they would not be able to produce just one of such signs and would fail in doing so. And at every moment He creates for him causes of victory, consolidation, ascension, and abundance of followers, in a manner that is abnormal?”

"My provision was placed for me in the shade..."
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, “My provision was placed for me in the shade of my
spear.” The Hadith was reported by Imām Ahmad and others on the
authority of Ibn ‘Umar and it is Saheeh.
This Hadith indicates that Allah did not
send His Messenger to endeavor to seek the duniya, nor to gather the duniy and its treasures, nor to strive to seek its means, rather He sent
him as a caller to His Tawheed with the sword. What is implied by this
is that he kills the enemies of Allah who refuse to accept Tawheed,
legitimizes the spilling of their blood and the taking of their wealth,
and enslaves their women and children, and thereby his provision becomes
what Allah has given him of spoils from the property of His enemy. This
is because wealth was created by Allah for the children of Adam only to
assist them in obeying and worshipping Him. So whoever uses it to
assist himself in kufr of Allah and shirk with Him, then Allah will give
mastery to His Messenger (saws) and his
followers over him, so that they seize it from him and return it back to
one who is more worthy than him from the people who worship Allah,
practice Tawheed of Him, and submit obediently towards Him. For this
reason their wealth is called fay’ (the root of the word means to
restore or return), because it returns to one who is more deserving of
it and it returns to the usage for which it was created.
From amongst the abrogated (Ayah) of the Qur’aan (in recitation, not in legislation) was the Ayah:
"We only sent down wealth so that Salaah would be established and Zakaah would be given."
So Ahlu Tawheed and obedience to Allah are
more deserving of wealth than the people of kuffr in Allah and shirk.
Therefore, they seized their wealth. He also made the provision of His
Messenger (saws) from that wealth, because it
is the purest of wealth, as He said:
"So consume what you have taken of war booty (as being) lawful and good." [Al-Anfaal:69]
“Whoever does not hold the mushrikeen to be disbelievers or..."
For Allah made takfeer on them in many Ayaat from His Book, and ordered to make enmity with them for their fabricating lies on Him, their making of partners with Allah, and their claim of Him having a son, High above is Allah above what they say. Allah has made their enmity and hatred obligatory upon the Muslimeen. A man is not judged as a Muslim until he makes takfeer on the mushrikeen and whoever stops in that – with the clearness of the matter in them – or doubts in their kuffr – with it being clarified to him – then he is like them.
As for one who considers their ways to be correct, and considers to be good what they are upon – from kuffr and tughyaan (transgression) – then he is a kaafir by the Ijmaa’ of the Muslimeen. For he does not know Islam on it’s truth, which is: “Surrendering (Istislam) to Allah with Tawhid, and submitting (Inqiyad) to Him with obedience, and disavowal (barā’ah) from shirk and it’s people.” And this (thinking their was is good) is associating with the people of shirk instead of him making takfeer on them.
In Saheeh Muslim from the path of Marwan al-Fizari on the authority of Maalik Sa’d Ibn Tāriq on the authority of his father, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) saying: “Whoever says laa ilaaha illa Allah, and disbelieves in what is worshipped besides Allah, then his wealth and blood are forbidden, and his accounting is upon Allah.” And it does suffice to protect the blood of the Muslim that he (just) says “Laa ilaaha illa Allah,” rather undoubtedly, he must add to that disbelief in what is worshipped instead of Allah. For if he does not disbelieve in what is worshipped instead of Allah, then his blood and wealth is not forbidden and the sword is drawn over him for his leaving of a fundamental (asl) from the fundamentals of the Millah of Ibrahim that we were commanded with following and travelling on it’s Manhaj and not watering it down to keep up with the desires of the enemies of Allah.
“What is it between Me & Sa’id bin Jubair !”
When Sa’id bin Jubair (ra) entered into the court of
the ruthless governor, Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Ath-Thaqafi, the latter asked
the former, “What is your name?”
“Sa’id bin Jubair.”
“Rather, you are ‘the miserable one, son of the broken one,” said Al-Hajjaj, immediately showing hostility towards Sa’id. This was the way he treated all of his enemies – basically, anyone who criticized him was his enemy.
“Rather, my mother knows my name better than you do,” said Sa’id, with the calmness and composure that one should show when responding to an ignorant person.
“You are wretched, and so is your mother,” said Al-Hajjaj.
“As for the unseen world, One other than you knows it,” said Sa’id.
“I will cause you to change in this world with a blazing fire,” said Al-Hajjaj.
“Had I known that that was in your hands, I would have taken you as a god,” said Sa’id.
“And what do you say about Muhammad (saws)?” asked Al-Hajjaj.
“He is the Prophet of mercy, the Imam of guidance – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him – and the Messenger of the Lord of all that exists, sent to all of mankind with a good exhortation.”
“And what do you say about ‘Ali bin Abu-Talib ?” Al-Hajjaj asked. “Is he in Paradise or in the Hell-fire?”
“Had I entered it, I would have seen its dwellers,” said Sa’id.
“And what do you say about the Caliphs (Khalifahs)?”
“Sa’id bin Jubair.”

Fitnah... by Tariq Mehanna (fakk Allahu asrah)
It's my eighth autumn looking at the Sun through a cage.
Though I'm looking directly at it, the fact that the part of the planet
on which I'm standing is tilted away from the Sun at this time of year
means that its light strikes it at a less direct angle, leaving its
energy less concentrated, which is the reason we're feeling the biting
cold here. We adapt to this cold, but we can't adjust the Earth's tilt
or orbit to prevent it. It's a law of this particular time Allah has
laid down that we can't change. Allah said: "I am time. I alternate its
night & day, and if I want, I could withhold them both."
Nor can we change the laws of time as it nears its end.
We can't change the fact that, as the Prophet (saws) said, "time will become compressed." Explaining this, an-Nawawi
wrote that "time being compressed is the disappearance of barakah from
it. For example, an entire day will contain the barakah of just a single
hour." Ibn Abi Jamrah wrote that "this has been the case for some time
now. Those with religious knowledge, as well as the clever ones with
worldly knowledge, know this very well. They find themselves unable to
accomplish the same tasks they were able to before. They complain of
this, and can't explain it." Ibn Hajar wrote that "we see the days go by
much faster than they did before... In truth, this is describing the
removal of barakah from everything, even time. This is from the signs of
the Hour..."
Nor can we change the fact that as time nears its end, barakah is
removed from people. 'Abdullah bin al-Mubarak once wrote the following
lines of poetry:
Gone are the men whose actions are worth emulating * The men who oppose every evil,
And I'm left behind with people deluded about each other * Such that one corrupt man emulates another...
And I'm left behind with people deluded about each other * Such that one corrupt man emulates another...
Before him, Abu ad-Darda' said that "people used to be leaves without thorns. But now, they're thorns without leaves."
And before all of them, the Prophet (saws) said that "the righteous people
will die, one after the other, until only useless people will remain."
