Shari'ah of the Prophet (saws)

http://drrichswier.com/wp-content/uploads/quran-2.jpg
If we look at the current situation of the Muslimīn in this day and age, we see that the Prophet (saws) told us,The nations are about to call each other and set upon you, just as diners set upon food.” It was said, “Will it be because of our small number that day?” He said, “No, rather on that day you will be many, but you will be like foam, like the foam on the river. And Allāh will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will throw wahn into your hearts.” Someone said, “O Messenger of Allāh, what is wahn?” He said, “Love of the world and the hatred for death.”

And we can see that the Prophet (saws) told the truth. There are 1 billion estimated Muslimīn in the world or even more, but despite this you will see that only a few people hold firmly to the Sharī’ah of the the Nabī (saws) and this leaves its traces in the legislation and rulings. It has gotten so bad that they have chosen for their people and communities legislations which they have taken from their enemies, the enemies of the Muslimīn, the enemies of Islām. Those who are striving hard to weaken Islām or to totally destroy it.

Since the light of the Message began to shine, up to this day, they are still plotting and planning to weaken Islām and destroy it. Since the Nabī (saws) was sent, up to the present day, through plots, wars and forcing new, corrupt, evil ideologies upon us. After all this time and years they have not managed to accomplish their goals, the destruction of Islām.

But now in this present time we live in, they have taken for themselves helpers from amongst the munāfiqīn, atheists, and kuffār, who infiltrated the ranks of the Muslimīn. They’re striving for disunity among the Muslimīn and to sow discord between them. They try to spread doubts and falsehood about Islām and the Sharī’ah. They have got a voice in the publications, poetry, the news, the methodology and everything else. In the exact same way as the first generation of munafiqīn had.

Ignoring matters of Takfeer...?

http://66.media.tumblr.com/1ec8ccbd86d33409611b842e3b46ee22/tumblr_nkh0fropIm1s1tvmjo1_1280.png
Indeed the principle, ‘Whoever does not do Takfeer of the disbeliever, is then a disbeliever’ is a well-known principle, and is the third nullification of the nullifications of Islām, as mentioned by the Shaykh Muhammed bin ‘Abdul Wahhāb when he said, “The Third: Whoever does not do Takfeer of the mushrikīn, doubted their kuffr, or approved their math’hab, disbelieves.” Except that this principle is not upon this generalization, and there is explanation and elaboration to be done, whom whoever ignores falls into great bātil, by doing Takfeer of the Muslimeen or by not doing Takfeer on Al-kuffaar al-asliyyeen (original disbelievers).

This explanation is as follows:
Know, firstly, that the origin regarding this principle is not related to circumstances involving actions or saying what is disbelief, rather it is related to rejecting reports and belying the texts (i.e. Ayaat, Ahadith, etc) so  whoever leaves the disbeliever without doing Takfeer of him, this would be considered a denial on his behalf of the texts that involve doing Takfeer of him. So based on this, it is a must that the text regarding Takfeer of him must be authentic and agreed upon, and it necessitated that the one who leaves-off doing Takfeer must be rejecting these texts. For the mukafiraat (those things that make one a disbeliever), are not one, and falling into them also is not upon one level; to explain this matter, we have to distinguish and divide them into two:

Reflecting over perished Nations...

‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and his Companions passed by al-Hijr, which was the location of the dwellings of the people of Thamud. So, the Prophet (pbuh) turned to them and said: “Do not approach the dwellings of these people who have been punished except that you are weeping. If you will not weep while doing so, do not approach them lest you be struck with the same punishment they were struck with. This was reported by al-Bukhari (433) and Muslim (2970).

In ‘Fath al-Bari’ (1/632), Ibn Hajar commented with the following:
“The motive for this fear is that weeping will push one to think and reflect. So, it is as if he commanded them to reflect over things that one has no choice but to weep over, such as Allah’s Ordainment that these people would remain upon kufr while simultaneously allowing them to flourish and establish themselves on Earth, be heedless for such a long period of time, and then have His Anger and extreme punishment befall them, and He is the controller of the hearts. So, the believer can never feel secure from his outcome being the same as this.

Reflection should also occur over how these people responded to Allah’s blessings upon them with kufr and the failure to use their intellect to believe in Him and obey Him. So, whoever passes by their dwellings and fails to reflect over what should bring one to tears has imitated them in their actions, and this is a sign of the hardness of his heart and lack of humility. So, such a person is not protected from following them in their actions and thus being stricken with what they were stricken with. With this, we have a response to the question of those who ask: how can the punishment of the transgressors befall those who don’t transgress? This is because such a person is not safe from becoming a transgressor and being punished for his transgression.

7 Conditions of Shahadah !

http://www.newshahadahonline.com/uploads/88c618d600a84542b853012eeead728e.jpg

APRIL 17 2014 / 17 JUMADA AL THANI 1435 HIJRI
BY SHAIKH ABDULLAH AL FAISAL

- The scholars of Islam put the conditions of Shahadah after studying the conditions meticulously.

Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. [As-Saff 61:1]

When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad), they say: "We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah." Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed. [Al-Munafiqun 63:1]

- This surah tells you the hypocrites take Shahadah.
- The munafiqeen take Shahadah but it is fake.
- The hypocrites are plastic Muslims.
- This ayah tells you that some Shahadah are fake.
- The scholars tell you that there are some conditions on Shahadah.
- Some of you are very naive.
- Even some mujahideen are naive.

Had they marched out with you, they would have added to you nothing except disorder, and they would have hurried about in your midst (spreading corruption) and sowing sedition among you, and there are some among you who would have listened to them. And Allah is the All-Knower of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). [At-Tawbah 9:47]

NEWS : Yemen's coast faces rising malnutrition !!!!

Sitting by her son's hospital bed, Houdaid Masbah looks at her 5-year-old boy's skeletal body and sunken cheeks, helplessness engulfing her like a thick cloud — a desperation she shares with many other mothers in Hodeidah.

Even before the war, Hodeidah was one of the poorest cities in Yemen, the Arab world's most impoverished nation. Now, the destruction of the port city's fishing boats and infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition's airstrikes over the past 18 months of war has deprived the townspeople of their prime livelihood.

The U.N. estimates that about 100,000 children under the age of five in the city and the surrounding province, also called Hodeidah, are at risk of severe malnutrition.

Life became harder for the people in this Red Sea city after March 2015, when the coalition of nine Arab Sunni countries began bombing Yemen's Shiite Houthi rebels to help the internationally recognized government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi return to power. The Houthis had pushed Hadi into self-imposed exile in Saudi Arabia and captured large chunks of the country, including the capital, Sanaa.

The coalition suspected the Houthis were using Hodeidah fishermen to smuggle weapons across the sea from Iran. The airstrikes destroyed most of the wooden boats along with fish storage facilities, markets, roads and bridges — leaving the fishermen jobless and fearful after seeing some of their colleagues were killed in the strikes.
As Yemen's conflict dragged on, food prices soared and gasoline ran out.

Fought and declared a Kaafir... REASONS?

Answered by Shaykhul Islām Muhammad ibnu ‘Abdul Wahhāb (rahimahullāh)

The pillars of Islām are five, the first of which is the shahādatayn then the remaining four. If a person affirms the latter four but abandoned them out of negligence then we do not declare them to be kuffār because of their negligence even though we may fight them for their action. The scholars differ considering the kuffr of the one who who abandons them out of laziness without rejecting them.

As for us, then we do not declare anyone to be a kaafir except for the one matter that all scholars have reached an ijmā’, which is the shahādatayn. Even in this case, we only declare this person to be a kaafir after establishing for certain that he is capable of possessing understanding of this issue, meaning he can understand the affair but rejects it. So we say that our position concerning our enemies is classified into different categories:

The first category: The one who knows that Tawheed is the Deen of Allāh and His Messengers which we have already clarified for the people. He affirms this and he similarly affirms that the prevailing beliefs concerning rocks, trees, and humans which most of the people believe in are truly forms of shirk which the Prophet (saws) was sent by Allāh to prohibit and fight those who practice this shirk in order for all the Deen to be for Allāh alone.

In spite of this understanding this person does not give any concern go Tawheed nor does he attempt to learn it or practice it, and he also does not abandon shirk. This person is the kāfir whom we fight against because of his kuffr. He knows the Deen of the Messenger yet he does not follow it; and he knows shirk but does not leave it. He doesn’t dislike the Deen of the Messenger nor does he despise whoever enters into it. Neither does he praise shirk or beautify it for the people (but he fell into what was mentioned).

Letter sent to an Ottoman leader, who refused the implementation of the Sharī’ah...

http://www.shsu.edu/~his_ncp/Islam.jpg
Below letter was sent to an Ottoman leader who refused the implementation of the Sharī’ah, by the Mujāhid Shaykh Sa’ūd ibnu’ Abdul ‘Azīz (rahimahullāh)

If you claim that you do not worship other than Allāh and are not pleased with such a deed, and do not encourage the people to do so, your actions – both public and private – disprove your claims. These false sūfī gatherings, accursed sites, and structures built over the graves, along with the act of directing Allāh’s rights to these graves, including du’ā’, sacrifice, oaths, fear and hope, and asking them for thatwhich should not be asked for except from Allāh, as well as praying there, touching them with the hope of attaining blessings, offering gifts to them, and other such disgusting and hideous activities, all exist among you openly. And he who does not take part in such deeds is pleased with them, and he defends the people who do these deeds with his wealth, his tongue, and his hands.

The five daily prayers are likewise abandoned, and most of your people do not attend the jumu’ah or congregational prayer, nor do they pray individually. And most of those amongst you who do pray, pray individually at home, and those who attend  congregational prayer are few in number. When one of them attends the prayer, he comes out and finds the people in the markets, abandoning the prayer and immersed in sin, play, immorality, and, wrongs and he does not denounce them.

The zakāh is likewise abandoned. It is not taken from the people’s wealth, nor are their crops counted, nor is the work of Allāh’s Messenger (saws) in that regard undertaken, nor is the zakāh due on the crops collected, nor spent upon those designated as eligible recipients by Allāh from above the seven heavens, as the Prophet (saws) said, ‘Allāh was not pleased with having the recipients of zakāh designated by a Prophet or anyone else. Rather, He divided it Himself and took responsibility of designating its recipients with His statement,
"Zakāh expenditures are only for the poor and for needy and for those employed to collect zakāh and for bringing hearts together for Islām and for freeing captives or slaves and for those in debt and for the cause of Allāh and for the stranded traveler – an obligation imposed by Allāh. And Allāh is Knowing and Wise." [At-Tawbah: 60]

The True Meaning Of Knowledge !

Ibn al-Jawzi said:
“I saw most of the scholars preoccupied with the outer appearance of knowledge, rather than the understanding of its reality. For example:

a) The reciter of the Qur’an is busy with the different modes of recitation, eager to learn the strange and rare ones. They do this thinking that the purpose of the Qur’an is to simply recite it, forgetting about the Greatness of the One whose Speech it is, and the warnings and threats contained in it. Sometimes, they might even think that mere memorization of the Qur’an will protect them from these warnings, so, you see such people being lax in regards to certain sins! If they truly understood, they would know that the proof against him is greater than it is against the one who has not recited as much as him!

b) The scholar of Hadith gathers the narrations and memorizes the chains without reflecting on the intended message of the narration, and he assumes that he has therefore preserved the Sunnah for the people, so he becomes lax in making mistakes, assuming that his supposed service of the Shari’ah will protect him.

CAMEL, one of the Animal mentioned in Quraan

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/af/2e/11/af2e11f153a76a329c09ba0d9815e1bd.jpg
"Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made? And at the Sky, how it is raised high? And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm? And at the Earth, how it is spread out? Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish." [88:17-21]

It's beyond doubt that all beings reflect the endless Power and Knowledge of their Creator. This fact is expressed in many verses of the Qur'an, constantly emphasizing that everything created by Allah is actually an evidence of belief and a lesson for admonition.

The 17th verse of the Chapter Al-Gashiyah, which is "Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?", mentions an animal that has to be carefully examined and thought about: This is the 'camel'. In this article, we will study this animal on which the Qur'an invites us to ponder about.

The exclusively specific characteristic of the camel is its body structure, which is not effected even in the most severe circumstances. Its body has such features that for many days, it can survive without water and food and can even travel with a bulk of hundreds of kilograms on its back. Many characteristics of the camel constitute evidence that this animal is created particularly for the dry climate conditions, and put into service for the comfort of man. In the Qur'an, it is stated: "Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day, and in all that Allah hath created, in the heavens and the earth, are signs for those who fear Him." [10:6]

The camel is specially designed for the conditions of the desert. As a matter of fact, each part of the animal's body has to be investigated in order to understand how it is "made" by Allah.

Our Women: The Essence of the Ummah !

...the woman is the focal point of our conflict with our opponents, and the outcome of either victory or defeat will come through her...

“...It is not a coincidence that the Qur’an tells us in ‘al-Qasas’ about the conflict between Musa and Fir’awn (Moses and Pharaoh), and the Qur’an’s focus on this conflict is the verse: “And We wished to do a favor to those who were oppressed in the land, and to make them rulers and to make them the inheritors.” [al-Qasas; 5] So, this transferal of power began with a woman, as Allah Said: “And We inspired to the mother of Musa: "Suckle him. But, when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear or grieve...”” [al-Qasas; 7]

So, the woman is the focal point of our conflict with our opponents, and the outcome of either victory or defeat will come through her. These are not words for a speech or poetry. Rather, it is the reality that we must all pay attention to.

So, you see today the best of this Ummah – where are its men? They are either in prisons, kicked out of their countries, or occupied with this struggle. So, who will protect the family and raise the children and see to the daily affairs of life? It is none other than the woman. And thanks to Allah, the Islamic Da’wah has won the battle until now when it comes to the woman despite the presence of some shortcomings in her being violated, corrupted, and turned into a source of corruption.

Guardians of the Sharī’ah

http://islam.ru/en/sites/default/files/img/story/2012/06/Islamic-Sharia-Law.jpg
My dear brothers and sisters, rejecting the tāghūt is a condition of Islām and a pillar of the Shahādah. One can not be a Muslim without disbelieving in the tāghūt. As the Nabī sall Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, ‘Whoever says lā ilāha illAllāh and disbelieves in all that is worshipped besides Allāh,’ which is the tāghūt, ‘Allāh has forbidden the taking of his wealth and the spilling of his blood and his account is left to Allāh.’ (Muslim) Therefore, it is a must upon every Muslim to learn the meaning of tāghūt and its different types, especially in our time when the Muslimīn are being severely tested.

Ameerul Mu’minīn, ‘Umar ibnul Khattāb whom was given the gift of true inspiration, said, ‘The hold of Islām will break one after the other when people who are ignorant of jāhiliyyah emerge in Islām.’ This means due to one having ignorance he could add some features of jāhiliyyah to Islām and/or reject some features of Islām. Worse than this, he could battle against some principles of Islām and defend the principles of jāhiliyyah, and this has occurred already.

The Muslimīn have been tested with the tawāghīt in this century after they have ignored the basic principles of their deen. After they have ignored what Allāh had sent to Muhammad, sall Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. After they had even ignored the meaning of lā ilāha illAllāh.

Hudayfah ibnul Yaman said, ‘The people used to ask the Messenger of Allāh about good, but I used to ask him about evil for the fear that it might over take me.’

Al-Khansa’ bint ‘Amr (ra)

http://mosaicofmuslimwomen.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/khansaa.jpg
O′ mothers of today! O′ Muslim ladies! There is a great model for you in Al-Khansa’ bint ‘Amr (ra)
Ibn ‘Abdul-Barr reported in his book al-Istee’ab:
“AI-Khansa’ bint ‘Amr (ra) witnessed the battle of Qadisiyah with her four sons. She addressed them on the eve of the battle and said,
‘My sons! You embraced Islam and migrated willingly. By Allah besides Whom there is no other deity worthy of being worshipped, you are all sons of one man as you are sons of one woman. I have never cheated on your father. Never have I brought disgrace upon your uncle, disparaged your esteem or altered your lineage. You know the great and abundance reward that Allah has set aside for the Muslims who fight against the disbelievers. Know that the everlasting abode is better than this transient one.

Allah says:
O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing any units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful. [3:200]

When you wake up tomorrow morning sound and healthy by Allah’s leave, go and fight against your enemy with sure understanding and seek Allah’s help over His enemies. When you see that the war has become tense, engage yourselves in the fight gallantly and resiliently that you may attain treasures and honour in the Abode of Eternity.’ “

After this statement of al-Khansa’, I or any other creature, for that matter, has nothing better to say! Her statement is beyond any comments as it is amply comprehensive.

Forbidden to Speak without Knowledge !!!

http://65.media.tumblr.com/c9b5ec0871eae952b16138be0174e2ba/tumblr_nyqdj9HJxy1s1tvmjo1_1280.png

Since it is an Asl not to precede or comment over what Allah and what the Messenger (saws) said, then naturally one can comment only upon acquiring knowledge.

Allah said:
“Say (O Muhammad): “(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, swearing etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression/rebellion, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge.”“ [7:33]

The one who utters without I'lm cannot claim to be from Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah, because to do so is a violation of the Asl. Anything uttered with knowledge of the Deen is a characteristic of the devil and Allah has specifically forbidden it in the Qur'aan:
“(Satan) commands you only what is evil and Fahsha (sinful), and that you should say against Allah what you know not.” [2:169]

The Biddah performed by people around the world was caused because the people desired to engage in an action without to acquire necessary ruling on the matter.

Forbidden to precede the divine text by Aql (ration)! There are many who refer to the judgement of the mind before the judgement of the Shari'ah. They give precedence to the mind over the divine text, which contain all the correct injunctions of Allah.
Anyone who gives precedence to his mind above the text is making his Aql the primary source of legislation and the Shari'ah of Allah secondary. The secular people are even more extreme, their only source of guidance is the Aql and at no point will they refer to Shari'ah.

The secularists define the concept of secularism as, ‘The ability to regulate the affairs of life without to refer to religious dictates.’

Regarding the Tāifah Mumtani’ah...

https://i1.ytimg.com/vi/no5L39IoNjE/hqdefault.jpg
A question posed to Shaykh Nāsir Al Fahd (fakk Allāhu asrah)

What is the reply to the one who says that there are two views regarding the tāifah mumtani’ah (resisting group)? As well what is the reply to one who denies the Ijmā’ that Shaykhul Islām (ibnu Taymiyyah) mentioned and he says, “I looked at the (claimed) ijmā’ and I could not find it?” And how can there be an Ijmā’ of Sahābah then the Fuqahā come after them disagreeing with this ijmā’ that is stated on their kufr?

Answer: The speech regarding the tāifah mumtani’ah is broken down into two parts:
A. Collecting the speech surrounding it
B. The reason for their kufr.

The first part: The tāifah mumtani’ah that is resisting the clear apparent laws of the Sharī’ah has two rulings with regards to it.
A. Fighting it. Regarding this, all the Fuqahā in all the mathā’ib agree.
B. Their kufr. Regarding this, the Fuqahā have two notable opinions. From the understanding of the Sahābah is that they all agreed on their kufr. But their ijmā’ is not from their speech. Rather, it is from investigating and looking at their actions. That is also how all the Fuqahā agree that the Sahābah had an Ijmā’ on fighting them. They (the Fuqahā) however, disagree on how to label them.

Do we fight them as ahlu riddah or do we fight them as bāghī (rebels)? This is not what is mentioned in the speech of Shaykhul Islām in some places and that is surrounding the reason on fighting them. Is it because they are murtaddeen? This position (on them being murtadeen) is what is apparent from Al Bukhārī when he named the chapter regarding the Hadīth on Abū Hurayrah with regards to those who fought refusing to pay the Zakāh. The Chapter on killing those who refuse to accept the obligatory acts and those associated with riddah. So they were labelled as murtaddeen for not accepting and complying with the obligation of Zakāh.

Mua'adh Ibn Jabal (ra)

Seerah taken from collection of books such as: Men Around The Messenger, Companions of The Prophet.

Muaadh ibn Jabal was a young man growing up in Yathrib as the light of guidance and truth began to spread over the Arabian Peninsula. He was a handsome and imposing character with black eyes and curly hair and immediately impressed whoever he met. He was already distinguished for the sharpness of his intelligence among young men of his own age.

The young Muadh became a Muslim at the hands of Musiab ibn Umayr, the da'iy whom the Prophet (saws) had sent to Yathrib before the hijrah. Muadh was among the seventy-two Yathribites who journeyed to Makkah, one year before the hijrah, and met the Prophet (saws) at his house and later again in the valley of Mina, outside Makkah, at Aqabah. Here the famous second Aqabah Pledge was made at which the new Muslims of Yathrib, including some women, vowed to support and defend the Prophet (saws) at any cost. Muadh was among those who enthusiastically clasped the hands of the blessed Prophet (saws) then and pledged allegiance to him.

As soon as Muadh returned to Madinah from Makkah, he and a few others of his age formed a group to remove and destroy idols from the houses of the mushrikeen in Yathrib. One of the effects of this campaign was that a prominent man of the city, Amr ibn al-Jumuh, became a Muslim.

When the noble Prophet (saws) reached Madinah, Muadh ibn Jabal stayed in his company as much as possible.

He studied the Qur'an and the laws of Islam until he became one of the most well-versed of all the companions in the religion of Islam.

Prophet (saws) was Patient with his Wives!

Allah has described His beloved Messenger with the words: “Now has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that you should perish; ardently anxious is he over you; to the Believers he is most kind and merciful. But if they turn away, say: Allah is enough for me: there is none worthy of worship other than He; in Him is my trust; He the Lord of the Throne [of Glory] Supreme!” [9:128]

The qualities of mercy, kindness, and leniency in the prophet’s personality are best exhibited in his relationship with his wives and these can be seen in the following examples:
It is narrated by Anas: “Every night the Prophet’s (saws) wives used to collect in the house of the wife whose turn it was. Zaynab entered ‘A’ishah’s house and the Prophet (saws) extended his hand, so ‘A’ishah said: She is Zaynab. So the Prophet (saws) closed his fist, and both (wives) began arguing until their voices became very loud. Abu Bakr, who was passing by, heard them and said, I feel like throwing dirt in their mouths. The time for prayer approached, so the Prophet (saws) got up and left without saying anything to her, but Abu Bakr came back and scolded 'A'ishah.” [Sahih Muslim]

The Prophet's (saws) patience and kindness can be seen in the way he treated his wives here. Even though they were arguing with each other infront of him, he did not rebuke them. An-Nawawi says regarding this:
'I feel like throwing dirt in their mouths' is an exaggerated expression to scold them and make them stop arguing. Abu Bakr should be recognized for having the compassion and desire to make peace between the two women, and  the hadith shows even more merit on the Prophet's (saws) part for trying to make peace between the wives (by refraining from saying anything. [Sharh Muslim by An-Nawawi, 10/39]
