Sorry Paris, Muslims have forgotten that you were the carrier of the Vatican's Pope's Crusader banner against the Islamic State.. Sorry Paris, we forgot that you have killed tens of millions of Muslims in your Crusades in Islamic countries, and have violated the honor of millions of Muslim women, and cut the heads of tens of thousands of Muslim scholars, and imprisoned millions of Muslim women and children... 

Sorry Paris, we have forgotten your enmity towards our religion, your insults towards our Lord and His messenger peace be upon him, your efforts to change our cultures in our countries, and suppressing Islam from the hearts of the young people in the East and the West.. Sorry Paris. 

We are so sorry, Paris, that there are some evil barbaric people among us who didn't forget all that! People who have lost their humanity to the point to kill Parisian human beings during their cultural events and pleasant football games. Under-developed people who don't know what civilization means, who never reached the "Parisian level" in taste, people who didn't see the beauty of the Champs-Elysées or the majesty of the Elysée palace. 

Sorry to our Arab brothers that those terrorist Khawarij spoiled French tourism, perhaps Britain or Germany will earn some benefit from it... Sorry Paris, here's a friendly advice from us: Please don't stop the (rich) Arab from visiting your country.. perhaps they could make you earn some money, after they financed the bombings on Iraq, Syria, Mali and Afghanistan... 

Sorry Paris.. those terrorists didn't understand what "International laws" mean, they never tasted the smell of "human rights", they have no link with our religion - no link with humanity at all! They didn't understand that the order to {Fight the people of the Book} here means "Quran" as "the Book" (like it was explained in Tafsir al-Idiocracy)  .. our religion ordered us to declare war to the "disbelievers" but those terrorists didn't know that "disbelievers" means "those who disbelieve in International laws and conventions" as the Tafsir al-Donkey states... 

Sorry Paris: Those thugs have no link to our religion: just look at the condemnations of our respectable and venerable "scholars" who opened their mouth faster than the speed of light to condemn those criminal events. Of course, there's no contradiction between that and their encouragements when Palestinians kill innocent Jews in the streets... are Jews any different that French Catholics for their blood to become permissible? Or are French Catholics any different from Orthodox Russians who have been made a permissible target since they started bombing Syria? As for the silence of our venerable and respectable scholars when our children get bombed everyday in Syria by those civilized Western Crusaders, I can't explain it. 

Sorry Paris, those evil people want the economy of France to get hurt.. We have opened for you with joy the skies of Iraq and Syria so you can show us your advanced technology and your most recent missiles and bombs so we can buy them .. those terrorists want you to stop your bombings! Are they crazy? Do they think we're going to buy your weapons without seeing how they work? It looks like these people really don't want free, profitable trade relations between countries.

Isis was quick to understand a truth the West must now confront: that the national borders imposed by colonial powers 100 years go are becoming meaningless, says Robert Fisk.

Early in 2014, Isis released one of its first videos. Largely unseen in Europe, it had neither the slick, cutting-edge professionalism of its later execution tapes nor the haunting “nasheed” music that accompanies most of its propaganda. Instead, a hand-held camera showed a bulldozer pushing down a rampart of sand that had marked the border between Iraq and Syria. As the machine destroyed the dirt revetment, the camera panned down to a handwritten poster lying in the sand. “End of Sykes-Picot”, it said.

Like many hundreds of thousands of Arabs in the Middle East, for whom Sykes-Picot was an almost cancerous expression, I watched this early Isis video in Beirut. The bloody repercussions of the borders that the British and French diplomats, Mark Sykes and François Georges-Picot, drew in secret during the First World War – originally giving Syria, Mount Lebanon and northern Iraq to the French, and Palestine, Transjordan and the rest of Iraq to the British – are known to every Arab, Christian and Muslim and, indeed, every Jew in the region. They eviscerated the governorates of the old dying Ottoman empire and created artificial nations in which borders, watchtowers and hills of sand separated tribes, families and peoples. They were an Anglo-French colonial production.

The same night that I saw the early Isis video, I happened to be visiting the Lebanese Druze leader, Walid Jumblatt. “The end of Sykes-Picot!” he roared at me. “Rubbish,” I snorted. But of course, I was wrong and Jumblatt was right. He had spotted at once how Isis captured symbolically – but with almost breathtaking speed – what so many Arabs had sought for almost exactly 100 years: the unravelling of the fake borders with which the victors of the First World War – largely the British and the French – had divided the Arab people. It was our colonial construction – not just the frontiers we imposed upon them, but the administrations and the false democracies that we fraudulently thrust upon them, the mandates and trusteeships which allowed us to rule them – that poisoned their lives. Colin Powell claimed just such a trusteeship for Iraq's oil prior to the illegal Anglo-American invasion of 2003.

We foisted kings upon the Arabs – we engineered a 96 per cent referendum in favour of the Hashemite King Faisal in Iraq in 1922 – and then provided them with generals and dictators. The people of Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt – which had been invaded by the British in the 19th century – were subsequently blessed with mendacious governments, brutal policemen, lying newspapers and fake elections. Mubarak even scored Faisal's epic 96 per cent election victory all over again. For the Arabs, “democracy” did not mean freedom of speech and freedom to elect their own leaders; it referred to the “democratic” Western nations that continued to support the cruel dictators who oppressed them.

Indeed a Promise of Victory from Allah !

From the Seerah we know that during the Caliphate of Umar ibn Khattab, he once set out for ash-Sham (Damascus) and with him was Abu Ubaydah. They came upon a deep creek which they needed to cross. So Umar took off his sandals and carried them on his shoulders. Then he took the reign of the camel and began ploughing through the water. Abu Ubaydah - seeing the Leader of the Muslims in this state - felt saddened and said, "I fear that the people of the village will think you without any honour." Umar said, "Oh Abu Ubaydah, if only someone less knowledgeable then you made such a statement. We were of the most disgraced of people and Allah granted us honour with this Islam. Now, whenever we seek honour in other than that which Allah honoured us with, Allah shall disgrace us (once again)."

Ya Muslimeen, we hear often that the victory of Allah is something promised and very near. However, some of us do not really believe in our hearts that Allah will grant victory to Islam. Some of us may think that this victory that Allah speaks about is only for a certain 'star-status' group of believers, or that the victory was only for a certain time in history, or that it's not a promised victory, just a miraculous will of God...

We must understand that it is not anyone who is promising this - it is Allah the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. And it is not just a promise of the Hereafter, but it is promised in this life as well.

"Indeed, we will grant victory to Our Messengers and those who believe in this life of the world and on the day when the witnesses will stand." [40:51]

We can only hope for victory when we surrender our loyalty to Allah and His Messenger (saws) and to the believers - and no one else!

"And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed the party of Allah will be the victors." [5:56]   

Honour and victory come only from Allah. Whoever seeks it from other than Allah, nothing awaits them but disgrace.

"Give glad tidings to the hypocrites (munafiqeen) that there is for them a painful punishment - those that take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honour ('izzah)? Rather, to Allah indeed belongs all honour!" [4:138-139]   

Aqeedah 101 : Al-Wala' wa Al-Bara' (Love & Hate for the Sake of Allah) !

Allah says in the Qur'aan,
"'Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people, 'Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allah Alone.'" [60:4] 

Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, 

"The strongest bond of faith is loyalty for the sake of Allah and opposition for His sake, love for the sake of Allah and enmity for His sake." [Abu Dawud 40:4582 , as-Suyuti, al-Jami' as-Saghir, 1/69 (Classed by Al-Albani as "hassan", meaning "good")]

Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyya said, 

"The declaration of faith, there is no god but Allah, requires you to love only for the sake of Allah, to hate only for the sake of Allah, to ally yourself only for the sake of Allah, to declare enmity only for the sake of Allah; it requires you to love what Allah loves and to hate what Allah hates." [Ibn Taymiyya, al-Ihtijaj bil-Qadar, p.62] 

Thus, in an age where truth is presented as falsehood, righteousness is translated to rebellion and the preserving of ones land and dignity is called terrorism, there will naturally arise many confusions about the pillars of Imaan and the facts of Islam. Those in whose hearts there is a deviation find it expedient to twist the meaning of many sacred texts because it does not conform with their desires and motives. Not even the principles of Al-Aqeedah can escape their ploys. Al-Wala'u wa Al-Bara' is the creed that guides all the actions and sayings of a Muslim and it is by its practice and application that the ranks of the believers vary. It is imperative that this creed be unambiguous to the Muslim's mentality in order that it manifests and materializes correctly in his actions.

Winter: The Believer's Best Season !!!

It is said that winter is a time when people suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, also known as ‘the Winter Blues’ or winter depression. However, it is interesting to see how the early Muslims welcomed winter, as it is clear that they saw it in a totally different light.

Here are four ways that they would benefit from winter:

1 & 2 – Fasting and praying:
It was reported by al-Haythami in ‘Majma’ az-Zawa’id’ (3/203) with a hasan chain that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Winter is the best season for the believer. Its nights are long for him to pray in, and its days are short for him to fast in.”

And Ahmad reported in ‘az-Zuhd’ (p. 118) with an authentic chain that ‘Umar bin al-Khattab said: “Winter is the prize of the worshippers.”

Ibn Rajab al-Hambali said in ‘Lata’if al-Ma’arif’ (p. 276):
“Winter is the best season for the believer because…Allah strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him. This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting…

As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep. So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body…

Sheikh Ali Halabi said in a video distributed via social media that Jews can be killed during war only, and that killing them at other times is a betrayal. 

A senior Jordanian Salafi sheikh has stirred controversy in the Muslim world in recent days after he issued a fatwa against killing Jews.

The Stages of the Prophet’s (saws) Da’wah!

Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahUllah) said: 
“The first revelation given to the Prophet (saws) by his Lord (swt) was his order to him: “Read in the name of your Lord who created, created man out of an alaq.” [96:1-2] This was the start of his Prophethood. The instruction to him was to read within himself. At the point, He did not order him to convey anything to anyone. He subsequently revealed to him: “O you who are enfolded, arise and warn.” [74:1-2] This means that God made him a prophet by telling him to read, and He gave him his mission by saying: “O you who are enfolded,arise and warn.” [74:1-2] God then ordered him to warn his immediate clan. Subsequently, he gave the same warning to his own people, then to the surrounding Arabian tribes, then all Arabs, then mankind generally. 

For more than a decade after the start of his Prophethood, Muhammad (saws) continued to advocate the faith without resorting to fighting or the imposition of any loyalty tax (i.e. jizyah). Throughout this period he was ordered to stay his hand, forbear patiently and overlook all oppositions. Later, God gave him permission to migrate (from Makkah to Madeenah) and permitted him to fight. He (swt) then instructed him to fight those who wage war against him and to maintain peace with those who refrain from fighting him. At a later stage, God ordered him to fight the idolaters until all submission is made to God alone. 

After the order was given to the Prophet to strive and fight for God’s cause, unbelievers were in three categories with regard to their relations with him: 

Aafia Siddiqui’s Daughter – Maryam’s Letter...

Nothing really to say about this - Everyone should read about Sister Aafia's story. Her daughter confirms that she was the Woman of Baghram, tortured to the point of insanity for years. Truth be told, only a truly Islamic revolution in Pakistan would bring about a government with even the possibility of gaining her release. Those that torture and kidnap while speaking of human rights should know that there are still many men from this Ummah that will never forget our Sister Aafia, and that we will never forget what the enemies of Allah have done. Ya Rabb, raise Sister Aafia and her family members to the station of Firdaus, and reunite them forever in Jannah. Allow us to never forget her and cure our disease of indifference, silence, and defeat! Ameen Ya Rabb!!!

As Representatives of Pakistan, Do you think you would be true to your nation without raising the issue of Dr Aafia Siddiqui ? Her imprisonment alone is a slap on Pakistan’s honor and her ordeal is a disgrace to motherhood. 

Maryam Aapi, my name is Maryam too, but I am Dr Aafia Siddiqui’s daughter. I was 3 years old when my mother was snatched away or rather I was snatched away from her. Do you know how it feels spending years in a dungeon alone without a mother? Spending dark and gloomy days locked in a cell? Well I do! Now by the grace of Allah as I open my eyes to freedom, into the loving embrace of my aunt and grandmother, the clouds of grief still loom over me. Can you imagine a life where you know you have a great mother yet can’t see her? Imagine twelve years of your childhood without a  mothers embrace and how would you feel, knowing that those that can make a difference prefer to remain silent? 

Imagine when every other child in school talks about their mother how my eyes fill with tears. Imagine when people come up to you and ask how your mother is doing, where would you find the courage to respond that you don’t even know if your mother is still alive. How can those words come to lips without spilling streams of tears and choking with emotion? How can you stop crying for a minute to tell the world that no one really helps you it’s just words, no leader cares?

Whoever commits blatant Kuffr - Insulting the Prophet (saws)?

Question: Can a person who insults the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) be denounced as a Kafir merely for speaking that insult, or must he also be shown to believe that his action is permitted?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah.

The Sahabah, Tabi’een and the Ahl al-Sunnah who came after them were unanimously agreed that whoever says or does something which is blatantly Kufr is a Kafir, without any need to show that he believes it to be permissible.

The scholars agreed that kufr may take the form of denying, disbelieving or turning away.

This may be a verbal action, such as insulting Allah or His Messenger (salallahu alayhi wasallam),or mocking the religion and its rulings; or it may be a physical action, such as prostrating to idols, circumambulating graves, or offering sacrifices to the jinn and idols.

Or it may be an act of omission, such as not doing a certain kind of action at all. Ishaq ibn Taahawayh and others narrated that the Sahabah were agreed that the one who does not pray deliberately is a Kafir. It was narrated in Sahih Muslim via Ibn Jurayj from Abu’l-Zubayr al-Makki from Jabir that the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasallam) sai: {“Between a man and shirk or al-kufr there stands his neglecting the prayer.”}

The use of the definite article al- here indicates that Major Kufr (al-Kufr al-Akbar) is being referred to. But there are some differences among the Imams of the Madhahib concerning the Kufr of one who does not pray. Some said that he does not become a Kafir in a complete sense so long as he does not deny that prayer is obligatory.
