Prophet (pbuh) said “This religion, this deen, in the beginning it came as a stranger (ghurabah), and it will return again as a stranger; so welcome glad tidings to the strangers (ghurabah)”-[Sahih Muslim]... A tribute to the faithful, the selfless, the steadfast... Indeed 'The Strangers'

We dream about drones, said 13-year-old Yemeni before his death in a CIA strike !!!
A 13-year-old boy killed in Yemen last month by a CIA drone strike had told the Guardian just months earlier that he lived in constant fear of the “death machines” in the sky that had already killed his father and brother.
“I see them every day and we are scared of them,” said Mohammed Tuaiman, speaking from al-Zur village in Marib province, where he died two weeks ago.
“A lot of the kids in this area wake up from sleeping because of nightmares from them and some now have mental problems. They turned our area into hell and continuous horror, day and night, we even dream of them in our sleep.”
Much of Mohammed’s life was spent living in fear of drone strikes. In 2011 an unmanned combat drone killed his father and teenage brother as they were out herding the family’s camels.
The drone that would kill Mohammed struck on 26 January in Hareeb, about an hour from his home. The drone hit the car carrying the teenager, his brother-in-law Abdullah Khalid al-Zindani and a third man.
“I saw all the bodies completely burned, like charcoal,” Mohammed’s older brother Maqded said. “When we arrived we couldn’t do anything. We couldn’t move the bodies so we just buried them there, near the car.”
Some Advice on Living in the West and Europe for Muslims - From a Sister to Sisters...
I am writing to my Muslim brothers and sisters living in Europe, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Latin America and any other region of the world where the disbelievers out number you, and justify their unacceptable treatment of Muslims with their term “freedom of speech. What is freedom of speech? One would think it is the freedom of every citizen living in a country to have the right to have a view, or voice an opinion. A sad reality is freedom of speech only is valid if your speech is in line with the local governing bodies values. Well, that is not exactly true for instance, in current day democratic Australia, even those who oppose democracy have a voice such as the Socialist groups, Christian groups and the like. We need to ask ourselves, are we as Muslims offered to same freedom? Can we freely say we want Islamic law without ridicule or possible arrest? Can you freely sympathise with any armed Muslim group in the world without being liable to any one of a number of criminal offences? Another, no less important question is, are we able to practice our religion without persecution? Can a Muslimah walk down any street in a disbelieving dominated society without people staring at her, maybe verbally abusing her or in the worst case scenario being physically abused as was the case with a Saudi sister who was stabbed to death in the UK by an ‘Islamophobe’? And why is it that a brother whose Islam is evident is profiled by western and European security agencies as a threat because he prays in the masjid, has a beard and choose not to vote? This must be more freedom of speech? The question I ask myself is, why do we stay in such humiliating circumstances when Allah has made this earth wide and vast for us?
It seems to me, that if you keep your practice of Islam out of sight then you are the perfect Muslim for the majority of disbelievers. They do not want you to display your love of Allah and His Messenger. In fact, the more you dedicate your life to Allah, the more it will become apparent in your life and the more the majority of disbelievers will persecute you. I am not saying all disbelievers are like this, but the majority who fall for the Western and European governments’ propaganda they filtrate into western and European homes via digital and satellite television and the print media.
Al Masaalih Al Shirkiyyah – The Juristic Limits of Benefit and Interest in Islam
Parliament
is a place of Shirk and Kufr, it is not allowed for the Muslims to be
part of it, nor to participate in it – whether by being an MP or by
being a candidate, collecting votes to be part of it – nor to be an
elector for somebody who wishes to join with it, nor to be a worker to
maintain it, nor a chef to cook for the people involved with it, nor to
be an employee working in any job or position whether administrative or
any other service in it.
That
is because it is a Taaghout, a place of legislation and issuing laws
and ruling by different than what Allah has revealed. That is because
the original basis of the parliament and democracy is the concept of
‘the ruling of the people, by the people, for the people’; that the
people are the ones to legislate via their representatives (i.e. the
Members of Parliament).
This is in contradiction to the very essence of Islam (i.e. Al Tawheed), the exclusivity of Almighty Allah in all of his names and attributes, the exclusivity in His rights and actions; parliament contradicts and opposes the exclusivity of Allah by ruling and making legislation, by commanding and forbidding when Allah (swt) says,
“The ruling and legislating is for none but Allah.” [6: 57 & 12:40]
Allah did not say in this ayah that “the ruling is for none but the people”, this is the right of Allah (swt) alone and He (swt) says,
“Do they seek the ruling of Jahiliyyah? And who is better than Allah as a legislator for people who have certainty?” [5: 50]
And Allah (swt) says,
“Allah does not associate with his right of ruling/legislation anybody.” [18: 26]
Allah does not associate in his legislation, neither the people nor the parliament nor anybody else. As for the claim by those who say, that ‘the origin of democracy is a form of consultation (Shura),’ we say that this claim is one of three: either (i) a lie and a fabrication, (ii) or it is ignorance, (iii) or it is misguidance.

Patience of Noble People and the Patience of Ignoble People
Patience and Gratitude - an abridged translation of `Uddat as-Sabirin wa Dhakhirat ash-Shakirin
Every person has to exercise patience in order to face difficulties, whether he does so willingly or unwillingly. The noble person exercises patience willingly, because he realizes the benefits of patience, and he knows that he will be rewarded for his patience and will be criticized if he panics. He is aware that if he does not have patience, panicking and impatience will not help him to regain missed opportunities, and will not take away things he dislikes. Whatever is decreed and is qada' wa qadr cannot be prevented from happening, and whatever is decreed not to happen cannot be made to happen. So an attitude of impatience and panic actually causes harm.
A wise man said: "A man with wisdom as soon as adversity appears does that which a foolish man does after a month (i.e. he resorts to patience)".
The ignoble man exercises patience only when he realizes he has no choice. After wasting a lot of time and energy and panicking and struggling, he realizes that his impatience will not help him. Then he exercises patience in the same way that a person who has been tied up to be whipped exercises patience.
The noble person practices patience in obeying Allah, whilst the ignoble person exercises patience in obeying the Shaytan. So ignoble person have the greatest patience in following their own whims and desires, and have the least patience in obeying their Lord. They have the greatest patience in spending in the way of Shaytan and no patience when it comes to spending even a few pennies in the way of Allah.
A Few GOLDEN WORDS Of IBN AL-JAWZI (RAHIMAHULLAH)
“(On the day of judgement) those who shall receive their books in their left hand will be expelled to the distant darkness veiled (from Allah), while those who shall receive their records in their right hand will bask in the gust of nearness (to their Lord).” [Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz, p. 41]
“With the ink of your tears, write your good expectations from He Who is capable of fulfilling them.” [Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz, p. 51]
“Every time you get a heartfelt feeling to repent, the troops of your desires attack and overcome your intentions. Slaughter the throat of desire with the knife of firm resolve, because so long as desire remains alive, you are never safe from the relapse of an ever-changing heart (from good to evil). Let the tears you shed in the darkness of the night be your intercessors for when you make mistakes.” [Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz, p. 51]
“This worldly life only impresses those with no intellect. Similar to how vain dreams please the sleeper, imaginary games are perceived by a child, whereas a sensible person cannot be deceived by such delusion.” [Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz, p. 61]
“The ship of piety must be fully sealed and secured (i.e, have no holes or cracks) for the sea may enter through tiny nails in the ship; therefore seal these areas with the sealant of piety. But a far cry is that from your state, who have cracked it with your major sins! And you shall not come to this realization until you descend to the same state as the people of Nooh (as), when he regretfully shouted, “There is no protector today” [11:43].” [Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz, p. 66]
The Different Types of Death
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Salaf constantly reminded themselves, and others, about the point where the rizq (provision) and the ajal (lifespan) would collide, resulting in the termination of all desires. A point where the mahdood (limited life that has a beginning and an end) would finish its journey, and the abbadie
(infinite, everlasting life) would begin. All of this being decreed by
Allah who is al-Azzalee (eternal, has no beginning and no end). Mawt (death) is something that we need to persistently think and contemplate about all the time.

Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. [27:80]
فَإِنَّكَلاتُسْمِعُالْمَوْتَىوَلاتُسْمِعُالصُّمَّالدُّعَاءَإِذَاوَلَّوْامُدْبِرِينَ

Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without faith their own deeds seem pleasing. [6:122]
