Prophet (pbuh) said “This religion, this deen, in the beginning it came as a stranger (ghurabah), and it will return again as a stranger; so welcome glad tidings to the strangers (ghurabah)”-[Sahih Muslim]... A tribute to the faithful, the selfless, the steadfast... Indeed 'The Strangers'

Guantanamo Diary Of Our Muslim Aseer, Becomes An Extraordinary Book!
In the summer and early autumn of 2005, Mohamedou Ould Slahi
handwrote a 466-page, 122,000 word draft of his book in his single-cell
segregation hut in Camp Echo, Guantánamo. He wrote it in instalments,
starting not long after he was finally allowed to meet with Nancy
Hollander and Sylvia Royce, two attorneys from his pro-bono legal team.
Under the strict protocols of Guantánamo’s sweeping censorship regime,
every page he wrote was considered classified from the moment of its
creation, and each new section was surrendered to the US government for
review.
On December 15, 2005, three months after he signed and dated the
manuscript’s last page, Mohamedou interrupted his testimony during an
Administrative Review Board hearing in Guantánamo to tell the presiding
officers:
“I just want to mention here that I wrote a book recently while in jail here about my whole story, OK? I sent it for release to the District [of] Columbia, and when it is released I advise you guys to read it. A little advertisement. It is a very interesting book, I think.”
But Mohamedou’s manuscript was not released. It was stamped “SECRET”,
a classification level for information that could cause serious damage
to national security if it becomes public, and “NOFORN”, meaning it
can’t be shared with any foreign nationals or intelligence services. It
was deposited in a secure facility near Washington DC, accessible only
to those with a full security clearance and an official “need to know.”
Muslim Puts ‘FREE SPEECH’ To The Test !!!
A
Canadian Muslim has put ‘free speech’ to the test via Twitter by joking
about 9/11 and the Holocaust. He is now the subject of a police
investigation.
Jerry
Reddick took to Twitter yesterday to experiment how far he could take
freedom of expression. He tweeted “Let’s test just how free freedom of
speech is when it’s not Muslims being disrespected.” This was followed
by a series of offensive tweets which were made the same taste as
Charlie Hebdo material.
What followed was a series of tweets which were undoubtedly offensive
but for many wouldn’t be construed as any more odious than material
published by Charlie Hebdo.

Within hours of sending out the tweets, Reddick's Twitter account was deleted and is now under investigation by the authorities.
Infowars.com reports:
Muslim AND A Coconut Mozlom !!!
The difference between a Muslim and a Coconut Mozlom by Ustadh Abu Waleed (hafidhUllah)
Allaah (swt) has chosen for us the best Deen, way of life and identity –
Islaam and Muslims, and whosoever seeks a way of life other than
Islaam, such as democracy, liberalism, freedom or socialism etc. their
deeds will never be accepted by Allaah (swt) and they will be from the
people of Hellfire. Likewise, whosoever chooses for himself an identity
other than that of a Muslim, he will face the same consequences and will
be resurrected on the Day of Judgement with those whom he loved,
supported and voted for.
Unfortunately, nowadays the majority of
the people who have Muslim names no longer attribute themselves to
Islaam exclusively. It is very common to hear them say, "I am a Moderate
Mozlom" or an American Mozlom" or even "I am a Moderate Mozlom". In
fact, some of the so-called "practicing" Muslims pretend to have more
Taqwaa (fear from Allaah) and say that this is wrong; we should say that
we are Muslim first, then Moderate Mozlom and then American –
Maashaa-Allaah what Taqwaa they have!
Some so-called
"practicing" Muslims (who are really not practicing at all) say that we
can call ourselves Moderate Mozlom or American because Imaam al-Bukhaari
(rh) attributed himself to the place where he was born i.e. Bukhaarah,
what is now Uzbekistan. This Zandaqah (heresy) and satanic argument can
easily be refuted. Firstly, there is no problem with attributing
yourself to the place where you were born. In fact, one of the reasons
why people did this was for others to know more about the person, such
as his name, father's name, place of birth, his scholars etc. in order
to trace his trustworthiness.
Therefore there is nothing wrong
with calling yourself, for example, Abu Mus'ab al-Bareetaani (from
Britain), or Abu Anas ash-Shaamee (from ash-Shaam – Syria). However, if
attributing yourself to the place where you were born means that you
must give allegiance to the King, participate in the Elections of the
Kuffaar and live by their Kufr law, it no longer becomes allowed for you
to attribute yourself to your place of birth. When Imaam al-Bukhaari
was attributed to his place of birth, it did not mean that he had
allegiance to the Kuffaar and would vote for them. In fact, his name was
not Bukhaari. This was attributed to him by others in order to be aware
of his biography. His real name was Muhammad bin Ismaa'eel bin
Ibraaheem. When people attribute themselves to the place where they were
born, (such as to say al-Misri [from Egypt], ash-Shaamee etc.) it does
not mean that they believe their place of birth is special in any way or
even blessed. Likewise it does not mean that they have allegiance to
the King and to the Kuffaar.
Did Prophet Yusuf (as) work as a Minister in Government???
“And the king said: 'Bring him to me that I may attach him
to my person.' Then, when he spoke to him, he said: 'Verily, this day,
you are with us high in rank and fully trusted.' (Yoosuf) said: 'Set me
over the storehouses of the land; I will indeed guard them with full
knowledge.' Thus did we give full authority to Yoosuf in the land, to
take possession therein, as when or where he likes.'” [12:54-56]
So those who use the example of Yusuf (as), use this to
show that he became established in the government of the King, and they
conclude on the basis of this that if it is permissible to become a
minister in a non-Muslim government, then surely it is permissible to
vote for the least harmful candidate who will become a Member of
Parliament to act on our behalf.
Those who use this as evidence
must have missed what Yusuf (as) said to his two
companions of the prison prior to his taking of this position:
“The Hukm (i.e. judgment) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that
you worship none but Him, that is the (true) straight religion, but most
men know not.” [12:40]
So how could we say about Yusuf (as) that he would compromise and cooperate in a government
with those who legislate man-made laws while he was the very one who
admonished others about this issue, saying: “The Hukm (i.e. judgment) is
for none but Allah?!”
The Believer Fears No Person!
“So, this verse proves that Satan makes his allies sources of fear, and he causes people to be afraid of them. And the verse shows that it is not permissible for the believer to fear the allies of Satan, and he should not fear people, as it was Said: {“So, do not fear the people, and fear Me…”} [al-Ma'idah; 44] So, we are commanded to fear Allah, and we are prohibited from fearing the allies of Satan. Allah Said: {“…So that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers. So, fear them not, and fear Me!”} [al-Baqarah; 150] So, He prohibited the fear of the wrong-doer, and He commanded us to fear Him.
He also Said: {“Those who convey the message of Allah and fear Him, and fear none except Allah…”} [al-Ahzab; 39] And He Said: {“…and fear Me, alone…”} [an-Nahl; 51]
And some people say: ‘O Lord! I fear You and I fear those who don’t fear You.’ These are nonsensical words, and it is not allowed to say them. Rather, one should fear Allah alone and not fear any person, since whoever does not fear Allah is too low to be feared, as he is a wrong-doer and is from the allies of Satan. So, Allah has forbidden us from having fear of such a person. If it is said that ‘such a person can hurt me,’ the response is that he is only hurting you because Allah has set him loose on you, and if Allah seeks to repel his harm from you, He can easily do so. The affair is all with Allah, and He sets people loose upon a person because of his sins, and if you fear Allah and keep your duty to Him and rely on Him, He will protect you from every evil there is and will not allow anyone to have power over you, as He Said: {“And whoever relies on Allah, He is sufficient for him.”} [at-Talaq; 3] The fact that someone is given power over you is the result of your sins and your fear of that person. So, if you fear Allah and repent from your sins and seek His Forgiveness, nobody can overpower you, as Allah Said: {“…and Allah will not punish them while they seek His Forgiveness.”} [al-Anfal; 33]
60 Islamic ways to get and keep your Wife's love, Insha'Allah.
2. When you go home say 'Assalamualikum. ' (Greetings) It kicks the shaitaan out of your home!
3. Prophet (pbuh) described the wife as a fragile vessel and said to take care of this vessel that’s fragile. Remember that there is goodness in this vessel so treat it gently.
4. When you advise her, do so in privacy, in a peaceful environment. NOT IN PUBLIC as it’s a type of slandering.
5. Be generous to your wife- it keeps her LOVED
6. Move and let her have your seat. It will warm her heart.
7. AVOID ANGER. HOW? Keep your wudu at all times. Prophet (pbuh) said if you are angry, sit down, if you’re sitting, then lie down. Follow the sunnah!
8. Look good and smell great for your wife. IT keeps the LOVE!
9. Don’t be rigid. It will break you. Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) (PBUH means “May the blessings and the peace of Allah be upon him” (Muhammad).) said 'I am the best amongst you and I am the best to my wife'. Being rigid and harsh will not bring you close to Allah and neither does it make you more of a man.

14. Preserve your tongue! Prophet (pbuh) said the tongue will throw people in the hell fire so watch what you say and how you say it!
15. All of us have shortcoming. Accept her shortcoming and Allah will put barakh in your marriage.

REALITY NEWS : The Charlie Hebdo Attack !!!
This Wednesday in a brazen broad daylight attack two masked gunmen
brandishing Klashnikov assault rifles forced their way into the Paris
offices of the satirical publication, Charlie Hebdo and proceeded to
execute 10 of it’s staff who were at the time convened in a meeting.
During the course of the attack they also killed two policeman – one of
whom was executed as he lay already injured on the floor. The operation
was clearly pre-planned and the ruthless efficiency with which it was
carried out suggests the perpetrators had received a level of military
training (these were clearly more than your average ‘Call of Duty’
aficionados).
Charlie Hebdo was no stranger to controversy, rather it deliberately
courted it at every available turn. As an iconoclastic publication it
regarded religion as very much within its purview. Christianity was
often the target of its particular brand of degenerate, vulgar satire
but it seems what brought about this act of bloody vengeance upon it was
its repeated insults – and yes that is precisely what they were –
towards Islam. The publication of assorted invidious images of the
Prophet (saw) as well as profane remarks about the Qur’an are what
sealed the fate of Stephane Charbonnier and his staff – judging by the
comments of the two attackers.
I don’t have too much to say about this incident but I will say that I
find it more than a little hypocritical that the same people and
publications that so vehemently champion “free speech” when it offends
Muslim sensibilities are often the very same that demand more be done to
close down “hate speech” (i.e. what they deem offensive) when it
offends theirs. So for example, when a Muslim decided to burn a poppy on
the streets of London – an act which physically harmed nobody – they
demanded the individual responsible be prosecuted (he was) and remained
noticeably silent about the death threats directed towards him as a
result of his exercising his right to free speech and expression.
Similarly when a group of Muslims held a peaceful – if vocal – protest
against British military returnees from Afghanistan it seems that
suddenly the “right to offend” was no longer sacrosanct. Again no
mention was made of the disgraceful behaviour of the baying mob intent
on physically assaulting the aforesaid peaceful protestors who were,
after all, merely exercising their “sacrosanct right to offend”.
Al-Walaa wal-Baraa as Revealed in Surah Imraan
In an age where truth is presented as falsehood, righteousness is translated to nonsense and the preserving of ones land and dignity is called terrorism, there will naturally arise many confusions about the pillars of Iman and the facts of Islam. Those in whose hearts there is a deviation find it expedient to twist the meaning of many sacred texts because it does not conform with their desires and motives. Not even the principles of Al-Aqeedah can escape their ploys. Al-Walaa wa Al-Baraa is the creed that guides all the actions and sayings of a Muslim and it is by its practice and application that the ranks of the believers vary. It is imperative that this creed be unambiguous to the Muslim's mentality in order that it manifests and materialises correctly in his actions.
28. Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Awliya' (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns you against Himself (ie. His Punishment), and to Allah is the final return.
29. Say [O Muhammad (pbuh)]: "Whether you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it, and He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allah is Able to do all things".
The Occasion of Revelation
The
Ayah (verse) was revealed concerning a group of believers who had
Jewish friends. Those believers were giving Muwalat (support, help,
etc.) to these Jews. Some of the Sahabah (ra) said to those believers:
"Keep away from those Jews and beware of their friendship for they could
seduce you away from your religion and guide you astray after you have
believed". However this group of believers disobeyed the advice and
remained loyal to their Jewish friends; and so Allah revealed "Let not
the believers take the disbelievers as Awliya'". Al-Qurtubi also reports in his Tafseer, narrated by Ibn Abbas (ra) that the Ayah was revealed with respect to Ubadah bin us-Saamet Al-Ansari Al-Badri who had a coalition of Jews. On the day of Al-Ahzaab, Ubadah said to the Prophet (pbuh): "O Prophet of Allah, I have a fellow of five hundred Jews; I see that they should come with me for support against the enemy". In this incidence, Allah revealed the aforementioned Ayah.
Supplication of Prophet Yunus (AS)
Allah says:
(Was there any town that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its faith saved it Except the people of Yunus; when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while) 10:98. Yunus, meanwhile, went and traveled with some people on a ship, which was tossed about on the sea. The people were afraid that they would drown, so they cast lots to choose a man whom they would throw overboard. The lot fell to Yunus, but they refused to throw him overboard. This happened a second and a third time.
Allah says:
(Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers.) 37:141 meaning, the draw went against him, so Yunus stood up, removed his garment and cast himself into the sea. Then Allah sent from the Green Sea -- according to what Ibn Mas`ud said -- a large fish which cleaved the oceans until it came and swallowed Yunus when he threw himself into the sea. Allah inspired that large fish not to devour his flesh or break his bones, (as if He said): Yunus is not food for you, rather your belly is a prison for him.
(And (remember) Dhun-Nun,) Here Nun refers to the fish; it is correct for it to be attributed to him here.
The Taalib ul-'Ilm...
The Taalib ul-'Ilm is the student of knowledge who studies the Deen of Islam in order to increase his awareness and understanding of the wahi whilst referring to the 'Ulamaa in order to comprehend and become acquainted with the wahi. Therefore such a person does not blindly follow the 'Aalim or 'Ulamaa that he refers to, rather he exerts effort in order to understand the wahi for which the hukm is based upon. The Taalib ul-'Ilm is of varying degrees and based upon his level will ask the 'Aalim either for the hukm shar'ie (the divine rule) or he may ask for the daleel shar'ie (the divine evidence) or he may ask for al-Istidlaal ush-Shar'ie (ask for the opinions of the four Imaams and make his own deductions) for a particular issue.
Today we find that there are some people who although claim to be Taalib ul-'Ilm and from Ahl ul-Ittibaa' are in fact staunch blind followers of certain 'Ulamaa.
They have little understanding of the Deen and therefore follow certain 'Ulamaa blindly whilst attacking those Taalib ul-Ilm who try to seek knowledge in order to follow the wahi if they disagree with their shuyookh. This is the disease of hizbiyyah (partisanship) coupled with taqleed (blind following) and is becoming common among certain people. This type of taqleed not only exemplifies the ignorance of the person carrying it out but also creates hatred and divisions between Muslims as a result of it, creating a situation whereby if my sheikh says it is haraam then anyone else who disagrees is wrong and must be condemned. This blind following of personalities, whilst not being able to follow or understand the evidence results in further ignorance and deviation from the path of Ittibaa'.
Likewise, there are some people who follow certain 'Ulamaa and are stubborn in their following of them, they follow these personalities due to their reputation, status or the level of knowledge they attained without care for what is said. This blinds them into accepting all that these people say whether with evidence or without, even if it clearly contradicts the divine texts.
Ibn Umar (RA) - The Most Disciplined Youth !
1 – His Discipline as a Youth:
Ibn Masud said: “From the most disciplined youth of Quraysh in the face of the duniya was Abdullah bin Umar.”
Jabir bin Abdillah said: “None of us experienced the duniya but that it affected him, except Ibn ‘Umar.”
Nafi said that Ibn Umar presented himself to fight in Uhud when he was fourteen years old, and the Prophet (pbuh) refused to allow him. He then presented himself during the Battle of the Trench when he was fifteen, and he was allowed to fight.
2 – His Discipline as an Adult:
Ibn Shihab said that Ibn Umar was about to curse one of his servants, and said: “O Allah, cu-” without completing the word, and he said: “I don’t like to say this word.”
3 – His Love of Imitating the Prophet in Everything:
Zayd bin Aslam said: “Ibn Umar would dye his beard with saffron until his clothes were colored with it. He was asked about this, and said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) dye his hair with it.”"
Hisham bin Urwah said: “I saw Ibn Umar’s hair reaching down to his earlobes,” and Anas reported that the Prophet’s hair also hung down to his earlobes.
Aishah said: “I never saw anyone holding tighter to the original affair than Ibn Umar.”
Malik said that someone informed him: “Ibn Umar would imitate the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and follow his traces and lifestyle and be very keen in this, to the point that we feared for his sanity because of his keenness in this.”
Nafi said: “Ibn Umar used to follow the traces of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in every place he prayed. This was to the point that there was a tree that the Prophet would sit under, and Ibn Umar would frequent this tree and water its trunk so that it wouldn’t weaken.”
Tribulations With Good And Bad
The Most High said:
"...And We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good..." (al-Anbiyaa` 21:35)
And Glory be to Him, said:
"Alif-Laam-Meem. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We have faith’, and will not be tested? And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make known, those who are true, and will certainly make known those who are liars." (al-‘Ankaboot 29:1-3)
And Glory be to Him, said:
"...And We tried them with good and evil in order that they might turn (to Allah’s obedience)." (al-A’raaf 7:168)
al-‘Allaama Ibnul-Qayyim – may Allah have mercy upon him – said: It is a must that a man is afflicted with that which harms him, so no one at all is free from that which harms him. This is why Allah the Most High has mentioned at various places in His Book that it is a must that He afflicts people. And the trial happens with goodness and with badness, and it is a must that a man is afflicted with which makes him happy and that which hurts him. So he is required to be patient and thankful (to Allah).
The Opinion of ash-Shaafi’ee in regards to Afflictions
A man asked ash-Shaafi’ee and said: O Abu ‘Abdullah! Which is better for a person, to gain power or to be afflicted? So ash-Shaafi’ee said: One will not gain power until he is afflicted. For indeed Allah afflicted Nooh, Ibraaheem, Moosa, ‘Eesa and Muhammad, may the Salawaat of Allah and Salaam be upon them all. So when they were patient, they gained power, so let not anyone think at all that he is free from pain. (Madaarij as-Saalikeen by Ibnul-Qayyim 2/283).
Afflictions in the Noble Qur`aan
