99 Names of Allah - Nasheed

Miami FBI ‘stings’ two alleged al-Qaida supporters in Internet chat room !!!

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mbzgm0f0OF1rhu2gao1_r1_1280.jpg

O' Muslims, below is a recent case of two innocent Brothers, they trusted an unknown person online who acted to be a Muslim, turned out to be a FBI Agent!!! Thus, ended up being victims of the FBI Plot!!! Take heed O' Ummati Muhammad (saws), learn from the lessons of others, do not be naive!
Insha'Allah make du'aa for the Brothers and their family, for indeed they are being tested by Allah for their firm belief.

BY JAY WEAVER

A Miami-based FBI employee posed as a brother and sister who supported al-Qaida as a way to communicate in an Internet chat room with two men overseas. Now, the men are accused of plotting to finance the terrorist group’s battles in Syria and Somalia.

The “online covert employee” assumed the role of the brother, saying he was an al-Qaida fighter. Then he switched to playing the sister, saying she could help collect money for the terrorist group.

In 2012, the FBI employee first engaged Gufran Ahmed Kauser Mohammed in Saudi Arabia and later Mohamed Hussein Said in Kenya. The men have been charged with conspiring to provide a combined total of about $25,000 to three U.S.-designated terrorist organizations operating under al-Qaida.

Mohammed, 30, a naturalized U.S. citizen who had once lived in California, and Said, 25, who resided in Mombasa, were arrested earlier this month in Saudi Arabia and brought to Miami by FBI agents. Both pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Miami federal court before Magistrate Judge John O’Sullivan, who denied bonds for them after prosecutor Ricardo Del Toro argued they are a flight risk and danger to the community.

Shi'a Religion V/S Christian Religion Debate...

With a passion, a Shi'ah activist invited a Christian activist to convert to Shi'ah (though it is somewhat impossible for them to make da'wah to adherents of other religions), so the following dialogue took place:

Shi'ah : You Christians claim that Christ (Al-Masih) was crucified in order to atone the inherited sin caused by Prophet Adam's eating of the forbidden fruit, causing the humans to be expelled from Paradise. Whereas Allah Ta'ala has said:
"No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another..." (Al An'aam 164)

Christian : Don't you know that you are worse than us, you are torturing yourselves by beating your own bodies and your children's bodies with chains and knives, until the blood gush out, a really frightening and disgusting scene. You do that to make amends of your error in the past, you who had humiliated Husein, instead of defending him... So, what's the difference?

Shi'ah : But you are too ghuluw (extreme), you regard Jesus Christ (Al-Masih) as the son of God and one of the three gods (Trinity)!

Christian : Are you not like that too? You are ghuluw towards Husein, and other Ahlul Bait Imams, you guys claim that before the world was created they were in the form of light, they also knew about all that have happened, are happening and will happen. You claim that they knew when they would die and that they died in accordance with their own wish! Muhammad bin Yahya had narrated from Salamah bin al-Khattabdari, Sulaiman bin Sama'a and 'Abdullah bin Muhammad from Abdullah bin al-Qasimal-Batal, from Abu Basir, from Abu' Abdallah (alaihissalaam) who said the following. "Whoever from among the Imams does not know what would happen to him and (does not know) what events would happen to him next, that person is not (a true imam) the right owner of the divine authority over His creations." [AlKafi by Al-Kulayni, Vol. 4, Chapter (47) The Imams (alaihissalaam) know when they would die and they die voluntarily, pg. 671]

Why our Du'aa's are NOT Answered ???

IBRAHEEM IBN ADHAM (may Allah have mercy on him) - a third century scholar, a teacher and a companion of Sufyaan ath-Thawree (r.a), was asked about the saying of Allah - the Most High:
"AND YOUR LORD SAYS: 'CALL ON ME I WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYER..." [Surah al-Ghaafir 40:60]

"We supplicate and we are not answered."

So he said to them...
* You know Allah, Yet you do not obey Him,
* You recite the Qur'aan, Yet do not act according to it,
* You know Shaytaan (Devil), Yet you have agreed with him,
* You proclaim that you love the Messenger of Allah (saws), Yet you abandon his Sunnah,
* You proclaim your love for Paradise, Yet you do not act to gain it,
* You proclaim your fear for the Fire, Yet you do not prevent yourselves from sins,
* You say "Indeed death is true", Yet you have not prepared for it,
* You engage yourselves with finding faults with others, Yet you do not look at your faults,
* You eat of that which Allah has provided for you, Yet you do not thank Him,
* You bury your dead, Yet you do not take a lesson from it.

Allah's Beautiful Names (Al Asma’ ul Husna)

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrZVHSO5kQ39bSSpntpgTR3g-ysCupJNz-JIW5QCmi1Q3YpeD2v3tMx16973937pVJIaP7tFlfQhr6GaQ4PeuDA8UbbTXGBrqhD2B9kfcnRW7Jdo2i6q19cQDxXZB1B1OniWJg8HPmeYdo/s400/asmaul+husna.jpg

The Qur’an describes Allah by His attributes and names, and calls these The Beautiful Names (Al Asma’ ul Husna). This expression occurs in the Qur’an at least four times:

1. Surah Al A’raaf (7), Aayah 180:
The most Beautiful Names belong to Allah; so call Him by them. But shun such men as distort His names; for what they do, they will soon be requited.

2. Surah Al Asraa’ (17), Aayah 110:
Say: “Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman; by whatever name ye call Him (it is well); for Him belong the most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek ye a middle course between”.

3. Surah Taha (20), Aayah 8:
Allah, there is no god but He! To Him belong The Most Beautiful Names.

4. Surah Al Hashr (59), Aayah 24:
He is Allah, The Creator, The Originator, The Fashioner; to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names; whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory; and He is Exalted In Might, The Wise.

Aayat 22 and 23 of Surah Al Hashr (59) contain the following additional names:
The Sovereign, The Holy One, The Source Of Peace, The Guardian Of Faith, The Preserver Of Safety, The Irresistible, The Justly Proud.

Based on a tradition of the Prophet Muhammad, upon whom be peace, ninety nine (99) names and attributes mentioned in the Qur’an have been selected and are in common use by the world Muslim community. It might be of interest to mention that the personal name of God in Arabic, Allah, is mentioned in the Qur’an some 2317 times. The name Rabb (The Nourisher and Sustainer) in its various conjugations appears about 978 times. Raheem (The Merciful) occurs 97 times, Rahman (The Most Gracious) appears 58 times. Other words related to Mercy and Compassion are used about 157 times. The generic “god” (Ilaah) and its various conjugations occur 147 times (only once does it occur in the form of “our god” and that in Surah 29, Aayah 46, where it says that “Our God and your God are one and the same”).

AN EXPLANATION OF THE PERFECT NAMES AND ATTRIBUTES OF ALLAH

Do not Lie even in Joke !!!

http://www.tubeislam.com/thumb/1_1391.jpg
True belief in Allah and the Day of Judgment implies that the person is truthful in his speech If he truly believes that Allah Hears and Sees everything he does and a Day will come when he will be accounted for his actions, then he will not lie. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Let he who truly believes in Allah and the Last Day speak good or be silent." [Saheeh al-Bukharee]

It is from the tricks of Shaytaan that he first makes sins look insignificant and minor in the eyes of the believers, and then gradually deceives them to commit those sins. Lying is one of them, and people do not show much concern about its prohibition, however, lying is a characteristic of hypocrisy, Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Amr al-Aas (ra) narrated that the Prophet (saws) said: "Whoever has the following four characteristics will be a pure hypocrite; and whoever has one of these four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up; whenever he is entrusted he betrays, whenever he speaks he tells a lie, whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous, and whenever he quarrels he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner." [Saheeh al-Bukharee]

Allah's Messenger (saws) warned us against lying by describing the severe punishments of Allah for the liars. He (saws) related a dream in which he (saws) saw people being punished; among them were two persons, whose cheeks were torn away from the mouth to the ear. He said: "I saw (in a dream), two men came to me. They said, 'The person, the one whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread all over the world. So he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection.'" [Saheeh al-Bukharee (vol. 8, no: 118)]

Importance of Shariah!

Notes from an important lecture on Shariah, by SHAIKH ABDULLAH FAISAL
After exposing Project Iblis - The Satanization Program, it is worthy of covering the Importance of Shariah
- This is because everything the SHARIA stands for, the project of Iblis opposes.

THE ISLAMIC SHARIA means THE ISLAMIC LAW THAT GOVERNS THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE SOCIETY
- The SHARIA is derived from QURAN & from SUNNAH.
- It is also derived from QIYAAS and from IJMAA

Note: Please refer to Shaikh's dars on APPLICATION OF REVELATION
-to study where the Islamic Sharia is derived from

WHERE IS THE SHARIA DERIVED?

The ISLAMIC SHARIA COMES FROM THE FOLLOWING:

SOURCE # 1 - QURAN
Application of the revelation
http://authentictauheed.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/the-application-of-revelation-5-ahkam.html

SOURCE # 2 - SUNNAH

SOURCE # 3 - IJMAA
- Ijmaa means Consensus (that is everyone agrees to the matter)

Ex. Allah said give 50 lashes to the slave girl who commits Zina,
-He did not specify the number for slave boys; in this case the Scholars used Qiyaas

He hopes in the Mercy of Allah for Forgiveness... while he persists in committing sins!

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9aq73SPOx1r0cjklo1_1280.jpg
“Say: 'O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [az-Zumar (39):53]

Hadeeth 1: Umar Ibn al-Khattab (ra) relates that some prisoners were brought before Allah's Messenger (saws) and amongst them was a woman who was frantically searching for someone in the crowd. When she found a baby amongst the prisoners, she took it in her arms, cradled it next to her chest and suckled it. So Allah's Messenger (saws) said: "Do you think that this woman would ever throw her child into the fire?" We said: 'By Allah, Never!' So he said: "Allah is more merciful to His believing servants than that mother could ever be to her child." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Hadeeth 2: Abu Hurayrah (ra) relates that Allah's Messenger (saws) said: "Indeed, before Allah created the creation, He decreed for Himself, 'Indeed My Mercy prevails over My Anger.” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Hadeeth 3: It is recorded in the two Saheeh, the Hadeeth of Abu Said (ra) from the Messenger of Allah (saws) about the man who killed ninety-nine people. Later on, he regretted it and asked a worshipper among the children of Israel whether he could repent. He told him no, so he killed him, thus completing one hundred. Then he asked one of their scholars whether he could repent. The scholar said: 'What is stopping you from repenting?' Then he asked him to go to a town where Allah was worshiped. He set out for the town, but death came to him while he was on the way. The Angels of Mercy and the Angels of Punishment disputed over him, so Allah commanded them to measure the distance between the two towns; whichever he was closer to was the one to which he belonged. They found that he was closer to the town he was heading for, so the angels of mercy took him. It was said that when he was dying, he moved himself (towards the town), and Allah commanded the good town to move closer to him and the other town to move away. [See Fath al-Bari (6:591)]

Wahhabi?!? Well get to know Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab - His Life & Mission

This article is based on a lecture given by Shaikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdullah Ibn Baz about the life and Mission of Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab
Published by Darussalaam

Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab was a great man, an outstanding reformer and a zealous preacher, who appeared in the Arabian Peninsula in the twelfth century A.H. He was educated by his father in his homeland, Oyayna, a village located at Yamama in Najd, northwest to the city of Riyadh. He learnt to read the Qur'aan at a very early age and exerted himself in studies and advanced learning at the hands of his father, Shaikh Abdul Wahhab Ibn Sulaiman, who was a great jurisprudent and the Judge of Oyayna.

Having attained puberty, the Shaikh traveled to Makkah and then to Medina to learn from learned personalities there. Then he went to Iraq (Basrah) to seek after knowledge. It was in Iraq that he started his mission. There he called the people to Tawheed and the Sunnah of the Prophet (saws). He announced that it was the duty of every Muslim to follow his or her religion (Islam) strictly in accordance with the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. He engaged in debates and discussion with scholars and thus became famous. However, some characterless scholars rebelled against him and he faced some harms and persecutions from them. So, he left Basrah moving towards Az-zubair, then to al-Ahsa, and then finally to Huraymela, where also he faced much suffering at the hands of the wicked because he enjoined the good and forbade the evil and persuaded the rulers to punish the criminals severely. So, some of them even attempted on his life, but Allah saved him. Then he moved to Oyayna, which was then governed by Prince Uthman Ibn Muhammad Ibn Muammar, who welcomed the Shaikh with hospitality and promised him all support and help in calling people to Islam.

People in Najd at that time lived in a condition that could not be approved by any believer. Polytheism had spread widely; people worshiped domes, trees, rocks, caves or any persons who claimed to be Awliya (saints). Magic and soothsaying also had spread. When the Shaikh saw that polytheism was dominating the people and that no one showed any disapproval of it or no one was ready to call people back to Allah, he decided to labor singly and patiently in the field. He knew that nothing could be achieved without Jihad, patience and suffering.

Thirteen virtues of Tawheed

http://weneedtawheed.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/cropped-we-need-tawheed.jpg

From the second chapter of Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahman as-Sa’di’s sharh of‘Kitab at-Tawhid’:

“…There is nothing that has a better effect and more virtues than Tawhid, as all of the good in this world and the next sprout from this Tawhid and its virtues."

1 - The forgiveness and expiation of sins are from its virtues and effects.

2 - It is the greatest means by which the pressures, hardships, and punishments of this life and the next are repelled.

3 - It prevents one from remaining eternally in the fires of Hell, even if there was only a mustard seed’s worth of it in the heart. If it is complete in the heart, it prevents one from ever entering Hell in the first place!

4 - It grants its owner complete guidance and security in this life and the next.

5 – It is the only means of attaining the Pleasure and reward of Allah, and he who will be happiest in regards to the intercession of the Prophet is he who said ‘there is none worthy of worship except Allah’ sincerely from his heart.

6 - And from the greatest of its virtues is that the acceptance, richness, and reward of all actions and words – outer and inner – depend on Tawhid. So, as strong as Tawhid and sincerity to Allah are, the stronger these will become.

7 - It causes good actions and works to be much easier for the servant, just as it makes it easier for him to abandon bad and evil actions. It also keeps him preoccupied when a crisis occurs. So, acts of obedience are very light for the one who is sincere to Allah in his faith and Tawhid, due to what he hopes for of the reward and Pleasure of his Lord. Likewise, it is very easy for him to leave off the sins that his soul desires, due to his fear of Allah’s anger and punishment.

Love for your Sister what you Love for Yourself !!!

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allâh has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinn) (of her lifetime)."

O Mary! "Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allâh, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irkâ'i (bow down) along with Ar-Râki'ûn (those who bow down)." (3:42-43)

My dear sisters Ar-Rakiun (those who bow down) submit and embrace Allah's Deen completely, I address this message to you, for you are the mothers and teachers of the future warriors and and dawah carriers of this noble Deen.

On the authority of Anas (ra) [Fath Al Bari. 7 158] Prophet (pbuh) described how, on his Night Journey, he encountered an old women, and was thereupon told by Jibriel, "This old woman is the mortal world [ad-dunya].
In the words of another hadith on the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) [ibid] the Prophet (pbuh) passed by people who were sowing and harvesting and every time they completed their harvest (the grain) grew up again, Jibriel said: These are the fighters in Allah's cause (Mujahidun) then they passed by people whose heads were being shattered by rocks and every time they were shattered they became whole again... Jibriel said: These are those whose heads were oblivious of prayer...Then they passed by a people who were eating raw, rotten meat and throwing away good, wholesome meat. Jibriel said, these are the adulterers.

For a Muslim Ummah to function in a manner that suits His Majesty Al Mutakabbir it must follow the footsteps of Prophet (pbuh) and the Sahabah (ra)

Prophet (pbuh) said:" Follow my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided Khalifahs." (At-Tirmithi, Ahmad, Ibn Majah and Al-Hakim)

Aisha (ra) said " The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) did something as an example in order to make things easier for people, but some people still refrain from doing it. When Prophet (pbuh) heard that, he praised Allah and said: What do you think of people who refrain from anything that I myself do? By Allah I am the greatest of them in knowledge of Allah and the strongest of them in fear of Allah. (Sahih Muslim and Bukhari)

A question that keeps disturbing others and myself and is repeatedly coming up everywhere is:

How did Shaytaan mislead Mankind?

http://sahibulsaif.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/satan.jpg?w=640
TAFSEER OF SURAH HADEED, by Sheikh Abdullah Faisal (HafidhUllah)- Alhumdulillah IMPORTANT notes to share from Part-3 of the Tafseer: "How Did Shaytaan Mislead Mankind?"

On the Day when the hypocrite’s men and women will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!" It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!" So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment." (Al-Hadid 57:13)

There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. (Maryam 19:71)

- The speed at which you cross the Sirat, depends on your EMAAN

(The hypocrites) will call the believers: "Were we not with you?" The believers will reply: "Yes! But you led yourselves into temptations, you looked forward for our destruction; you doubted (in Faith); and you were deceived by false desires, till the Command of Allah came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allah." (Al-Hadid 57:14)

These Hypocrites were with the believers physically not spiritually
- In your hearts you taught Judgement Day is a myth, and in fact you did not really believe
- Therefore, the Hypocrites are not allowed to use the excuse of being with us on the Day of Judgement

In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies. (Al-Baqarah 2:10)

This is because there is a disease in the heart of the Hypocrites, the diseases of Hypocrisy and Doubt
- The Shaytaan made a promise to ALLAH that he will mislead mankind on EARTH

The Islamic Ruling on Horoscopes

http://www.missionislam.com/knowledge/knowgif/horoscope.jpg

Not only is the practice of astrology is Haraam, but also visiting an astrologer and listening to his predictions, buying books on astrology or reading one's horoscope are also forbidden. Since astrology is mainly used to predicting the future, those who practice it are considered fortunetellers. Consequently, one who seeks his horoscope comes under the ruling contained in the Prophet's (saws) statement: 'The Salaah (daily prayer) of whoever approaches a fortuneteller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for forty days and nights.' [Saheeh Muslim vol.4,p. 1211, no 5440]

The punishment in this hadith is simply for approaching the asking the astrologer, even if one is in doubt about the truth of his statements. If one is in doubt about the truth or falsehood of astrological information, he is in doubt about whether or not others know the unseen and the future besides Allaah. This is a form of shirk because Allaah clearly stated:

"And with Him are the keys tot he ghayb [all that is hidden], none knows them but He and He knows whatever there is in [or on) the earth and the sea; not a leaf falls, but the knows it. There is not a grain in darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or day, but is written in a clear record." [6:59]

"Say: None in the heavens and the earth knows the ghaby (unseen) except Allaah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected." [27:65]

IT'S NOT OVER YET! Ramadaan comes with a baggage! SHAWWAAL!!!

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f5/03/43/f50343e10c765cf13dffe3e46979b725.jpg
By Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (HafidhUllah)

“Fasting the month of Ramadan brings the reward of ten like it, and fasting the six days brings the reward of two months, and that is the fasting of the whole year." Ibn Khuzaymah

30 Days of Ramadan X 10 = 300 days

6 Days of Shawwal X 10 = 60 days

Grand total ..................360 days

-(Six days), are the six days within the Islamic month after Ramadan (Shawaal) 29 or 30 days after Ramadan ends.

-Fasting can start on the 2nd day of Eid.
It is prohibited to fast the day of eidul-fitr, but permissible to fast the day after it which is the 2nd day of Shawwal.

-Fasting the six days does not have to be consecutive.
Fasting them separately is sufficient.

-If one missed days from Ramadan for an excused reason such as travel, illness or menstrual cycle, must they complete those days before they begin the 6 of Shawal?

Modern Scribes - Seeking Knowledge in Prison

http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2kvq055gx1qdxa23o1_1280.jpg

READ THIS letter from behind the Guantanamo prison walls that will make one appreciate our freedom to attend Lectures and Islamic classes and take advantage of them!!!

BismIllaah ir-Rahmaan ir-Rahiim,

Al-hamdu Lillaah, Allaah 'azza wa jall has blessed us and favored us above many of His creation, and I am not writing what follows to complain in any way about my condition, because I am grateful to Him for all He has chosen to bestow on me or withhold from me. I simply want to describe one of the things which brothers who are serious about seeking knowledge in prison engage in, because I think it might inspire others to take advantage of the resources they have available to them.

On the outside, you have scholars all around you. Some of them live close by. Others are just a click away on the internet. If you want a book, all you have to do is search for it on Google, or maybe you would drive to a bookstore if you want a hard copy. It would only cost you a small fraction of your earnings, so it would not bother you too much to get it the old-fashioned way.

In prison, we very rarely come across a scholar, and almost no scholars whatsoever are willing to even respond to our questions. I have been trying to get in touch with a scholar, any scholar, for more than two years, but the only ones willing to help are not able to, because of their own captivity.

We have no access to the internet. We cannot just go online and look something up whenever we want to. We have to figure out which book the issue might be covered in, then look for it in there. If we do not have a book covering that issue, then we are not able to learn about it.

We can buy books from stores on the outside and have them shipped in, but most of us cannot afford to do this very often. Some of us receive as little as seven dollars per month. Many receive less than forty dollar. Almost everyone receives less than one hundred. After paying for our communications with our families, legal expenses, hygiene and other necessities we have, a book becomes more expensive to us than one can appreciate.

Qasida burda is Shirk!!!

The Qaisdah Al-Burdah which is commonly sang World wide is just a few words/verses taken from a huge book, mainly a huge poem written by SUFI Imaam Muhammad Sharafudeen Al-Busairi originally in Arabic & indeed is a Shirk & is fully supported by the Sufi clan Astaghfirullah... meaning the evil Sufi Scholar the so called Shaykhul Islam of this time Tahir Qadri is one of the evil promoters of this Shirk.

Here is the link (warning: its a Sufi site) for the entire Original Qaisdah Al-Burdah, written, audio & video:
http://www.deenislam.co.uk/burdah/burdah.htm

The Scholars who have replied to original written Qaisdah Al-Burdah and claimed it as Shirk are:
* Al Dur AlNadeed for Alshawkany.
* In Tasier AlAzeez Alhameed is a reply by Sheikh Sulieman Bin Muhammad Bin Abdelwahab.
* Fateh AlMajeeed Abdalrahman bin Hassan
* Reply to Al Burdah by Sheikh Abdallah Aba Ibteen (70 page long reply)
* Ghayat AlAmany fe Alrad Ala Alnabhany by Mahmood Shukry Al Aloosy
* Reply to Burdah by Abdel Badee3 Saker
* Reply to Burdah by sheikh Abdel Azeez Al Abdel Lateef
* Ma3loomat Muhimah An Aldeen By Jameel Zino

The Qasidah Burdah poem is of shirk, evil and corruption which Islam has rejected and forbidden since time immemorial.

Kindly read the following article written by as-Shaykh Ahmad Jibreel, (May Allah be merciful towards him-AMEEN)

In the past few years, there is a particular piece of Arabic poetry that has reached the Muslims in the west and has been translated into English. This poem is called Qasidah Al-Burdah by Muhammad Al-Busairi. It is also known as the most famous if not the most famous poem that supposedly praises the Prophet (pbuh).

The poem has been widespread in Arabic for nearly eight centuries and many scholars have replied to it in Arabic.

Background:

Bitter Medicine cures...

And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you...

Allah, the Almighty says,
“And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.” (AI-Baqarah, 2:216)

In this Qur’anic Verse, there are several judgments, meanings and benefits for the servant. If the servant knows that misfortune can produce a desirable thing, and that the desirable thing can produce a misfortune, he would not feel secure against the harm that can come from delight, and he would not lose hope of delight to come from harm, for he does not know the outcomes of things. Verily, it is Allah Who knows about that which the servant does not know, and in this context the following issues must be noted:
Nothing is more beneficial for him than abiding by the judgments of Allah, even if it is difficult for him at the beginning, because all its outcomes are good, delightful, and pleasurable. In the same way, nothing is more harmful for him than committing what is forbidden, even if he loves it. All its outcomes are pain, grief, evil and misfortune.
Furthermore, the mind bears little pain in comparison to the great pleasure and abundant good that it will experience, and likewise man is expected to avoid little in exchange for great rewards and preventing great pain and long term evil.
In this way, we can see that the perception of the ignorant does not go beyond the basics of life; his perception does not reach the goals, but the intelligent person always keeps his eye on the goals behind his actions in life.

Short Description of the Eid Prayer & the Eid Khutbah

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5d/6a/fc/5d6afc4d0324a2602cc662b7de141809.jpg
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Let the free women, the virgins, and the menstruating women attend the Eid prayer, and witness the good and the supplications of the believers. As for the menstruating women, they should stay away from the Musallah (i.e.. should not participate in the prayer itself).” [Saheeh al-Bukharee and Saheeh Muslim]

A short description of the Eid Prayer

1 - The Eid Salaah consists of two Raka'ahs. Umar (ra) said: “The traveler’s prayer is two raka'ah; the Adha prayer is two Raka'ah; and the Jumuah prayer is two Rak'ah; this is their full length as came from the Messenger of Allah (saws).” [(saheeh) Musnad Ahmad, Nisa'ee, Baihaqee and others]

2 - The Eid Salaah is not preceded by the adhan (the call to announce the prayer time) or Iqamah (the call to start prayer). Jabir bin Samurah (ra) said: “I prayed the Eid prayer with Allah's Messenger (saws), on more than one occasion, without adhan or Iqamah.” [Saheeh Muslim]

3 - No Sunnah prayer may precede or follow the Eid prayer, except if it is performed in a Masjid instead of a Musallah, in which case one must pray two raka'hs before sitting down. Ibn Abbas (ra) reported: “The Prophet (saws) went out (of his house) on the day of Fitr, prayed two raka'hs and did not pray before or after it.” [Zaad al-Maad (2/443)]

4 - Like any other deed in Islam, the prayer must be preceded with a true intention of worshiping Allah alone in the heart.

5 - The first raka'h (one prayer unit) is initiated with Takbeer al-ihram, followed by the opening supplication.

The Niqaab, fact VS fiction !!!

How much do you really know about the niqab? An insider guide to common misconceptions

Fatima Barkatulla
1.The niqab is a symbol of female subjugation.
None of the niqab-wearing women who I know, wear it because they have been forced to. They see it as an act of devotion to their Creator: the culmination of a spiritual journey. In fact most of them are women who were born and brought up in the UK; many are White or Afro-Caribbean Muslim converts to Islam who have chosen to observe it. The hijab, niqab and abaya are outer garments and are worn only when outdoors or in the presence of men who are not close relatives and so, contrary to popular belief, underneath their robes, in family and female-only settings Muslim women are often very fashion conscious and outgoing. They dress in everyday clothing; they get their hair done, go on holiday and even buy lingerie!
2. Women who wear the niqab cannot possibly contribute to society
People are surprised to hear that niqab-wearers come from varied vocational backgrounds. They include doctors, teachers, dentists, authors, social workers, university graduates, lecturers and more. They usually prefer to work in a female environment and so would not wear the face-veil all the time. Other women say that wearing the niqab actually makes them feel more comfortable when they are working with men. It is ironic that the very women who are the subject of debate are far from being a burden on society: they don’t get drunk and disorderly, don’t smoke and are likely to be very good citizens. Many of them are full-time mothers who take pride in raising well-educated children who will be an asset to British society.

Pop Culture in the Name of Islam - by Yvonne Ridley

I feel very uncomfortable about the pop culture which is growing around some so-called Nasheed artists. Of course I use the term 'Nasheed artists' very lightly. Islamic 'boy bands' and Muslim 'popsters' would probably be more appropriate.

Eminent scholars throughout history have often opined that music is haram, and I don't recall reading anything about the Sahaba whooping it up to the sound of music. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for people letting off steam, but in a dignified manner and one which is appropriate to their surroundings.

The reason I am expressing concern is that just a few days ago at a venue in Central London, sisters went wild in the aisles as some form of pop-mania swept through the concert venue. And I'm not just talking about silly, little girls who don't know any better; I am talking about sisters in their 20's, 30's and 40's, who squealed, shouted, swayed and danced. Even the security guys who looked more like pipe cleaners than bulldozers were left looking dazed and confused as they tried to stop hijabi sisters from standing on their chairs. Of course the stage groupies did not help at all as they waved and encouraged the largely female Muslim crowd to "get up and sing along." (They're called 'Fluffers' in lap-dancing circles!)

The source of all this adulation was British-born Sami Yusuf, who is so proud of his claret-colored passport that he wants us all to wave the Union Jacks. I'm amazed he didn't encourage his fans to sing "Land of Hope and Glory." Brother Sami asked his audience to cheer if they were proud to be British, and when they responded loudly, he said he couldn't hear them and asked them to cheer again.
How can anyone be proud to be British? Britain is the third most hated country in the world. The Union Jack is drenched in the blood of our brothers and sisters across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. Our history is steeped in the blood of colonialism, rooted in slavery, brutality, torture and oppression.

Zakaat al-Fitr

Zakaat al-Fitr:
The Purifying Charity ‘Zakaat al-Fitr' or 'Sadaqah al-Fitr' means 'the purifying charity of breaking the fast’ It is a prescribed amount of staple food given by the Muslims to their poor Muslim brothers during the last few days of Ramadaan or on the morning of Eid prior to the Eid prayer.

The Wisdom of Zakaat al-Fitr:
The wisdom behind 'Zakaat al-Fitr' is as mentioned in the narration of Ibn Abbas (ra): “The Messenger of Allah (saws) ordained Zakaat al-Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakaat for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer; but merely Sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.” [(Hasan) Abu Dawood (no: 1622), an-Nisa'ee (5/49), Ibn Majah (1/585) and others]

Thus, Zakaat al-Fitr serves as a purification for those who fast in the month of Ramadaan from the minor sins, which decrease the rewards of their fasts. It is also feeding the poor Muslims, so that they may have enough provision during Eid. Al-Khattabee (rahimahullah) says in Ma'aalimus Sunan (2/214): “It is obligatory upon every wealthy fasting person and poor person who has in excess of his need, since its obligation is in order to purify and all those who fast need this. So, if they are all in need for it (i.e. purification from sins), then they are all the same as regards to its obligation.”

The Obligation of Zakaat al-Fitr:
Zakaat al-Fitr is obligatory on every individual who is capable of giving it, as Ibn Umar (ra) stated: “The Messenger of Allah (saws) ordained Zakaat al-Fitr in the amount of one saa of dates or one saa of barley for the Muslim; slave or free, male or female, young or old; and he ordered that it be given before the people went out to the Eid prayer.” [al-Bukharee and Muslim]

A few words to my loved ones...

All praise is due to Allah. Peace & blessings on our beloved Prophet (pbuh), his family & his companions.

As to what follows;

This is a humble attempt to discuss significant Islamic misconceptions that have arisen recently in light of events in the Muslim world. Please bear patiently as I proceed, bi'idnilAllah.

Allah Azawjal has described the Quran as, “This is the Book; in it is guidance, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.” (Al-Baqarah:2)
The guidance in the Quran then is unconditional, timeless, and doubtless.

Furthermore, Allah azawjal states in the Quran, “...I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you, and chosen for you Islam as your religion.” (Al-Ma'idah:3)

Thus, by perfecting Islam, Allah Azawjal has gifted Muslims with a comprehensive guidance in the form of the Quran. Guidance, that covers all aspects of life from the public government to the private existence.

It is incumbent upon Muslims to refer all matters of our lives back to Islam & utilize the Quran, the hadith & the sunnah of our Prophet (pbuh) as the ultimate resources.
