Actions that Nullify a Muslim’s Belief
The following are
among the more prevalent causes of DISBELIEF in our times.
1) To Associate Others with Allah or "Shirk"
The first cause of disbelief is to commit shirk. Allah said in the Qur’an: "Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him in worship, but He forgives anything else to whomsoever He pleases, and whoever sets up partner with Allah in worship, he has indeed forged a mighty sin." (4:48)

And He said : "Verily,
whosoever associates with Allah anything, for him Allah has forbidden
Paradise, and the Fire will be his abode; and the wrongdoers shall have
no helpers." (5:72)
There are four types of Shirk:
- Shirk through one's prayers: “And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only: but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others.” (29:65)
“And when harm touches you upon the sea, t hose that you call upon vanish from you except Him. But he brings you safe to land, you turn away. And man is ever ungrateful.” (17:67) see ibn Kathir’s Book of Tafsir as regards to this verse about Ikramah bin Abi Jahl.

Where there is Du'a there is hope
By Fatima Asmal
Tuesday the 4th of February was a day, which changed my life, my thinking and my spirit irreversibly and forever. It will always be my pot of shining gold at the end of the rainbow, my hope in times of despair, my silver lining in every dark cloud…
I often relate my magical little story to people, and more often than not, I can hear the disbelief in their voices, and see the doubtful expressions on their faces. But I cannot blame them for this, for, had someone told me the same story a few years ago, I, too would have probably thought it was fabricated, or at the very least, exaggerated.
You see, I had always thought that each individual has his/her own preferences in terms of the form of ibaadah he/she gravitates towards. Some people prefer standing in supererogatory prayers for long hours, others prefer reciting Qur’an, some enjoy dhikr others prefer du'a…
And I had resigned myself to the fact that du’a just didn’t seem to be something which I could put my heart into. Perhaps it was lack of faith on my part, or perhaps it was sheer laziness. Or perhaps I didn’t know how to ask, or when to ask. For whatever reason, du’a was always something ritualistic in my day-to-day life - a few lines of memorized Arabic words at the end of fardh salah, no tears, no smiles, no emotions, and that was it. In fact more often than not, I would leave it out.
Until Ramadan, two years ago. I was going through an extremely tough time - sadly most of us are when we decide to ask Allah - when I received an e-mail from a mailing list I subscribe to. The brother who had sent the mail reminded readers of the assured acceptance of du’a made on the Night of Qadr (Laylatul-Qadr). He said that since this night, in all probability, occurred on one of the last ten days of the month, and since nobody knew exactly which night it was, everyone should make a list of the things which they really wanted, and on each of the last ten nights, they should fervently and passionately cry out to Allah, asking Him to give them those things. This way, the brother said, everyone would have made du’a on each and every one of the last ten nights, and hence they would be sure that they ‘caught’ the Night of Qadr, and if Allah willed, their du’a would be assure of acceptance.
NO SURRENDER!!!
I answer this question with a solid no, and stay firm in my belief on that. Peace does not seem to be an option in the Middle East.
Peace will never be established between the Palestinians and Jews because they both believe the holy land belongs to them. These beliefs will never die, and both sides are willing to fight to the end. How could peace be established if neither side nor leader is willing to give in?
History shows that Palestine is clearly Muslim land. Let us trace history before Moses's time all the way back to the first man ever created, Adam. Adam was a Muslim prophet who founded Jerusalem and built the Holy Monuments. We are Muslims like Adam, and more importantly followers in his footsteps.
Semitic tribes settled Palestine at a very early date. It was then called Canaan. Canaanite tribes controlled the area for more than a thousand years; at about 1500 B.C. Hebrew tribes began to enter the area this tells you Palestinians owned the lands first. The Jewish tribes later came into conflict with the people of Greek origin known as the Falesteens. It is from them that the term Palestine is derived. The Hebrew tribes ultimately defeated the Falesteens and established a monarchy in about 1000 B.C. known as the Kingdom of Israel. This statement alone tells you that Palestine was named after its original people the Falesteens and was taken forcefully from them by the Jews.
The Jews claim that Palestine rightfully belongs to them because they are the chosen people of God. I ask the Jews, "How could you conclude you are the chosen people when in the holy Qur'an Allah continuously degrades you after you deviated from the teachings of the Prophet Moses?"
Resurrection or resuscitation?
By Ahmad Deedat
In one of my
books - "Who Moved the Stone?" I had promised to deal
with the anomaly,
where believers were reading simple English, yet were
so conditioned that
they were understanding exactly the OPPOSITE of what
they were reading.
The following story from real life will not only illustrate the point
but will also elucidate our present case - "RESURRECTION OR
RESUSCITATION?"
I was about
to leave for the Transvaal on a lecture tour, so I
phoned my friend
Hafiz Yusuf Dadoo of Standerton, informing him of my
impending visit, as
well as to enquire whether he needed anything from
Durban. He said
that as he was taking up Hebrew, I should try and obtain
a Bible in the
Hebrew language with a translation in English side by
side.
I went to
the "BIBLE HOUSE" in Durban. Without any difficulty I
found the
appropriate Bible for my friend, the "Authorised Version,"
also known as the
"King James Version," looking for one with the best
print and at the
cheapest price, I noticed the lady behind the counter
had lifted up the
telephone to speak to someone. I was out of hearing
istance, nor was I
interested, but after an exchange with the person
on the other side
of the line she put her hand on the mouthpiece and
addressed me:
"Excuse me, sir, are you Mr. Deedat?" I said, "Yes."
She said,
"The Supervisor of the Bible Society would like my pleasure,"
I answered.
She spoke a few more words into the telephone and replaced
the receiver. I
said with a smile, "I thought that you were ringing the
police."
(perhaps because of the number of Bibles I was handling). -
She laughed and
said, "No, it was the Rev. Roberts, the Supervisor, who
wishes to speak to
you."
WINNING A
CONVERT
Presently,
Rev. Roberts approached me and after introducing himself
he gestured to me
to hand over to him the Bible which I was holding in
my hand. I handed
the book. He opened it and began reading to me - "and
this is life
eternal that they should know Thee the only True God and
Jesus Christ whom
Thou has sent." (John 17:3). (Subsequently, I checked
up the Gospel
references of his quotations).
After having
listened to his reading of this scripture, I responded
with the words: "I
accept!" - meaning the implication of the Message he
was trying to
convey to me. I did not tell him then that what he was trying to
convey to me was the same as the Holy Qura'an was telling mankind
for the past
fourteen hundred years - that all must believe in the 'ONE
AND ONLY GOD
ALMIGHTY AND JESUS CHRIST is only a MESSENGER OF GOD.' The
words of the Holy
Qur'an are as follows:-

The hashtag which created a storm: The story of Sheikh Nasr Al-Fahd
The
imprisonment of scholars is not a rare phenomenon. Across the globe
and throughout history, religious leaders have been imprisoned because
their beliefs have not been a neat fit with state policies and
ideologies.
A
Twitter storm in December brought to people’s attention the
imprisonment of Sheikh Nasr al Fahd, a Saudi scholar who has been
detained without charge for almost ten years. Although the Saudi
government has not made a formal statement on the reasons of his
imprisonment, it is believed that Sheikh Naser al Fahd is being confined
because of controversial religious opinions attributed to him. However,
what is known, is that he was forced to recant some of his views on
public television after six months of imprisonment and alleged abuse.
The
War on Terror provided a golden opportunity to detain them without any
form of due process. The political nature of their imprisonment has
often appeared after their release. For instance, Sheikh Omar al
Haddouchi, Hassan Kettani and Abu Hafs who were once accused of having
authorised the Casablanca bombings in 2003 and who received 20 to 30
years prison sentences, were recently released after a royal pardon in
Morocco. Observers see a pattern where imprisonment under vague
allegations of terrorism is apparently the only way to control and
regulate the beliefs and thoughts of individuals. This risks putting
anyone with some influence in jeopardy, and leaves many scholars in a
state of fear of who may be targeted next.
Sheikh Ahmad Jibreel, who was instrumental in organizing this twitter campaign for Sheikh Nasr al Fahd wrote:
“You
may agree with him on certain matters, you may disagree with him. He is
not infallible nor is anyone after the prophet Muhammad (SAW). But this
is not the time to discuss it. You have something against any of his
fatawa, a true believer; this is not the time to discuss it. When he
gets out and is able to defend himself and debate you (...) then you can
go and say: “this man did this and I have disagreed with you on this
and that”.”
Sheikh
Nasr al Fahd is still to be charged, tried or released. Now, he
languishes in prison where he has reportedly been subjected to a number
of abusive and torture tactics. In a recent video by Sheikh Ahmad
Jibreel who himself was imprisoned, he describes how Sheikh Nasr al Fahd
was often beaten and restrained by the ‘goon squads’ in his cell, tied
in uncomfortable positions and dragged on the floor, leaving Sheikh
Ahmad Jibreel and many others asking why should any human being deserve
such treatment? At one point, he was abused to the point where he had to
pray with his eyes and recently said that he feels that he, like Ibn
Taymiyya, will die in prison, without charge or trial.
Egypt
and Tunisia have started to release prisoners once considered as
political dissidents and many people have called on the US to release
their prisoners from Guantanamo. Saudi Arabia is yet to release any of
its political prisoners and instead, represses any protests and deflects
media attention.
But
the power of social media means that these prisoners have been not been
forgotten, and perhaps one hashtag might make all the difference to
their fate.

Muslim Womens Role in Community Development
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
To Allah belongs all honor and His Messengers and the believers.
Islam is a religion and a way of life based on the commandments of Allah contained in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh).
RasulAllah (pbuh) said: "I have left you with 2 things after which you will never go astray, as long as you adhere to them. The book of Allah and my sunnah and they shall never part until they attend my Basin of Al Kawthur." (Authenticated by Shk Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Jami')
Every Muslim is under the obligation to fashion his entire life in accordance with the dictates of the Quran and Sunnah.
One of the characteristic marks of this faith is the fact that it is essentially a unity. It is at once worship and work, religious laws and exhortation.
Prophet (pbuh) said: "Protect yourselves from the Fire even if it is with half a date" (Sahih Muslim)
RasulAllah (pbuh) said: "O `A'ishah, protect yourself from the Fire, even if it is only with half a date, for it can benefit a hungry person as much as one who has enough to eat." (Reported with a sahih isnad by Ahmad, 6/79.)
It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allāh, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allāh, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to Al-Masākin (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs As-Salāt (Iqāmat-as-Salāt), and gives the Zakāt, and who fulfill their covenant when they make it, and who are As-Sābirin (the patient ones, etc.) in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are AlMuttaqûn (pious). (Al-Baqarah 2:177)
Who is Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri ?!?
He calls himself ‘Shaykh-ul-Islam’, a title ‘conferred’ on a very few distinguished scholars of Islam. ‘Conferred’ not ‘self-bestowed’. He might have garnered huge attention in recent days, for bringing politics in Pakistan to a stand-still, but for many in the region, he is particularly known for his high octane, and almost dramatised speeches.
He calls Christians in Masajids, and hosts their festivities, he believes in democracy, and advocates for it. He claims that he learnt Fiqh from Imam Abu Hanifa himself; in his dreams for 10 years. He denounces the Mujahideen, and was also praised by the Kuffar, when he condemned the ongoing Jihad, in his 600-page fatwa.
These videos should shed light on the Kuffr of Tahir-ul-Qadri, who continues to fool ignorant and gullible Muslims.
Anxiety, Worry, Grief !!!
Peace
of mind, contentment, happiness and freedom from worries and anxiety…
these are what everyone wants and these are the ways in which people can
have a good life and find complete happiness and joy. There are
religious means of achieving that, and natural and practical means, but
no one can combine all of them except the believers; although other
people may achieve some of them, they will miss out on others.
There
follows a summary of the means of achieving this aim for which everyone
is striving. In some cases, those who achieve many of them will live a
joyful life and a good life; in other cases, those who fail to achieve
all of them will live a life of misery and hardship. And there are
others which are in between, according to what the means he is able to
attain.
These means include the following:
1 – Faith and righteous deeds:
This is the greatest and most fundamental of means. Allah says:
“Whoever
works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a
true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good
life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision) and
We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what
they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)” [al-Nahl 16:97]
Allah
tells us and promises us that whoever combines faith with righteous
deeds will have a good life and a good reward in this world and in the
Hereafter.
The
reason for that is clear: those who believe in Allah – with sincere
faith that motivates them to do righteous deeds that change hearts and
attitudes and guides them to the straight path in this world and the
Hereafter – follow principles and guidelines by means of which they deal
with everything that happens to them, be it the causes of happiness and
excitement or the causes of anxiety, worry and grief.
They
deal with the things that they like by accepting them and giving thanks
for them and using them in good ways. When they deal with them in this
manner, that creates in them a sense of excitement and the hope that it
will continue and that they will be rewarded for their gratitude, which
is more important than the good things that happen to them. And they
deal with bad things, worries and distress by resisting those that they
can resist, alleviating those that they can alleviate and bearing with
goodly patience those that they cannot avoid. Thus as a result of the
bad things they gain alot of benefits, experience, strength, patience
and hope of reward, which are more important and which diminish the
hardships they have undergone and replace them with happiness and hope
for the bounty and reward of Allah. The Prophet (pbuh) expressed this in a saheeh hadeeth in which he said: “How
wonderful is the situation of the believer, for all his affairs are
good. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks for it and that
is good for him; if something bad happens to him, he bears it with
patience and that is good for him. This does not apply to anyone but the
believer.” (Muslim, no. 2999)
The
Prophet (pbuh) told us that the
believer is always gaining and the reward for his deeds is always
multiplying, no matter what happens to him, good or bad.
Some Knowledge AND Jewels of Wisdom
By Abdullah Abdul Malik
The battle of the hearts and minds has been around since the beginning of the creation. The true battle of iman vs. kufr, the faith vs. disbelief. The people of truth vs. the people of disbelief. The never ending struggle of this life. You see there are deep emotional feelings that root deep in our hearts and our mind develops these thoughts and combined has a big effect on who we are. You see the believers are under constant attack, from outside from the world of mankind and jinn and from the unseen and from within, our weaknesses and desires etc.
My point is this.....a human being has the potential to be something great in the eyes of Allah, we have an inner secret ability that we must discover and use for this deen, and we are being attacked through many ways we don't even know and being destroyed from within. Television, media, books, radio, senseless past times, radio music, philosophies etc. And society ruins the heart, and the evil people in power know that we Muslims have this inner strength. That inner strength is from our faith, iman. So when a Muslims sins it weakens the mind and the heart. The heart becomes weak and unable to go on and carry the weight of the dunya and the tests of this life. And this is turn makes the iman weak.
In Guantanamo they torture the brothers. They lock them up in rooms and play music with the volume turned up all the way to make his faith weak. Do you know why.....because music effects the heart. And he may break down and tell them everything they want to know and if they have no information for them, they might make something up to stop the many styles of harsh torture. Their objective is to weaken us internally so we cannot defeat them! Because our strength lies with being obedient to Allah, and when we sin we destroy ourselves.

"I Die Even as a Camel Dies"
Khalid (ra) was the son of Al-Mugueerah ibn Al-Waleed, the richest man in Makkah and the most famous and well-known poet during that time. Khalid (ra) was a tall man with a really built body. He was a knight and a warrior. A lot of times, people would mistake him for Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) because they looked so alike.
Embracing Islam
Khalid (ra) became Muslim just three years before Rasulullah (saws) died. One day, Rasulullah (saws) asked Khalid's Muslim brother Al-Mugheerah, "Where is Khalid (ra) ? He shouldn't be ignorant about Islam since he knows better! Al-Mugueerah sent a letter to Khalid (ra) telling him what Rasulullah (saws) had said. Khalid (ra) decided to embrace Islam. He went to Madina with Amr ibn Al-As (ra) and both of them became Muslim in front of Rasulullah (saws).
The Sword of Allah
Rasulullah (saws) gave Khalid (ra) the name "The Sword of Allah". Even though he didn't participate in the early battles, Rasulullah (saws) with Allah's rehma saw that in the future, Khalid (ra) would fight to raise the word of Islam. Rasulullah's (saws) prediction about Khalid (ra) was right, because Khalid (ra) became the one who defeated both empires, Rome and Persia. He was the one who conquered the traitors lead by Musailama the liar. He was also the one who opened Bilad Ashaam and Iraq. All this happened during the time when Abu Bakr (ra) and Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (ra) ruled.

An Update on my husband Sheikh Abu Hamza 6/01/13:
Since my husband sheikh Abu Hamza was extradited from the UK to America on the 5th of October 2012. Since then, my husband has not been allowed to see anyone face to face not even his solicitors. The times the American government allowed my husband to see his solicitors on a number of occasion. then, the visit ...has been behind a glass window. Not only that, the glass window had a curtain over the glass to prevent my husband from looking at his solicitors face to face...
All this time, he has remained in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day in a small room with no window and no sunlight. For one hour, he is allowed to stretch his leg just next to his sell where there is not even enough room to even do that. It has been three months now since he’s extradition but, he was only allowed to call me once. On a contrary, alhmdulillah I have revived few letters from him. Me and my family also write to him on a regular bases. Since he’s been there, his hair has not being combed due to a comb not being available for him. He doesn’t even know the direction of the kibla so he prays to a direction by guessing where the kibla is.

Syrian refugees plead for help after storms strike

ZAATARI refugee camp, Jordan: Thousands of Syrian refugees in
northern Jordan have appealed for help after three days of winter
storms left them battling mud, water and plummeting temperatures.
''The situation has become absolutely miserable after three days
of heavy rain,'' Yusef Hariri, 38, said at the Zaatari refugee camp
near the border with Syria.
The father of four stood with his family in the mud and the
freezing cold near their tent, which had been ripped apart by wind
and water.

''My sister's tent was also damaged. She and her five children
have joined us in looking for a new tent. Not even animals live this
way,'' he said in frustration, his clothes soaked by the continuing
downpour.
Relief often comes as a Surprise
A verse in the Book of Allah caused me to stop and reflect for quite some time, and it deserves for me to stop at it:
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا وَيَنْشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
He is the One that sends down rain after (men) have given up all hope and scatters His Mercy (far and wide). And He is the Guardian, the Praiseworthy. [Surah Ash-Shura: 28]
So, in my mind, I imagined how the people would panic over their families, livestock and land due to the severe drought occuring in the midst of the oppressive, scorching heat. They had hope in Allah and returned to supplication until they had no hope left, and were sure that they would perish.

Suddenly, the rain surprises them as it falls freely and vastly from
the sky into the valleys of the Earth as a sign of the Mercy of Allah,
so that the land would come back to life along with these lives and
souls after they had lost all hope!
And how beautiful is it that the verse is capped with the Names of Allah, al-Wali (the Guardian) al-Hameed (the Praiseworthy), as He is the sole Guardian of His slaves, and who is sufficient for them and has himself taken on their affairs at all times! Because of this, He alone is deserving of praise at all times…

Because of this, He alone is deserving of praise at all times…
… And whoever expects the best from his Guardian and knows that He is best guardian and helper, and glorifies Him… and venerates Him and expects the best from Him and relies on Him as He should be relied on, He will in such a case be sufficient for that person:
وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. [Surah Talaaq: 3]
[And] in accordance with how good your expectations of and hope in Allah are, and how truthful your reliance and trust are in Him, Allah will not betray your hopes in the least, as He does not betray the hopes of those who hope and does not cause any effort to go to waste.

"Before he was taken to Prison..."
By: Sheikh
Ahmad Musa Jibril (may Allah preserve him for His Deen, His Ummah-Ameen)
Ibn Taimeih was a great scholar who was summoned and then imprisoned numerous times during his lifetime. The reason behind this was due to the savages (ruwaibidah) of his time who were jealous of his knowledge and ability to win the hearts of many. They also abhorred how he had an effect and influence on the people through his knowledge, wisdom, and sincerity.
When Ibn Taimeih was taken to his cell and the gates closed behind him, he recited the verse in the Quran, "So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Within it, will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside will be (wrath and) punishment!" 57:13.

The Mother, Son and Daughter...
Prophet
(saws) said: “May he be disgraced! May he be disgraced! May he be
disgraced, whose parents, one or both, attain old age during his life
time, and he does not enter Jannah (by rendering being dutiful to
them).” (Saheeh Muslim)
Americans are big fat liars !!!
Please slaves of Allah do your duty for yet another brother arrested on
fabricated charges just because he thinks [ Islamic ] which is now a
crime, may Allah SWT strengthen him-Ameen.
Robert E. O’Neill, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida;
Lisa Monaco, Assistant Attorney General for National Security; and
Steven E. Ibison, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Tampa Division
anoucced today the arrest of a twenty five-year-old resident of Pinellas
Park, Florida, Sami Osmakac, who has been charged in connection with an
alleged plot orchestrated and funded by the FBI, to attack locations in
Tampa with a vehicle bomb, assault rifle, and other explosives.
Sami Osmakac, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in the former
Yugoslavia (Kosovo), was arrested Saturday night. He is charged in a
criminal complaint in the Middle District of Florida with one count of
attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction (explosives) and was
scheduled to make his initial appearance 10 January at 2:00 p.m. EST, in
federal court, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Anthony Porcelli, in Tampa.
If convicted, Osmakac faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a
$250,000 fine.
The arrest of Osmakac was the culmination of yet another FBI generated
“terrorist attack” in which Osmakac was closely monitored by law
enforcement officials for several months. The dummy explosives and
firearms that he allegedly sought and attempted to use were
all manufactured and provided by the FBI and were rendered inoperable by
law enforcement, which is conducive to the pattern of FBI false flag
operations, wherein the government controlled sting poses “no threat to
the public” save for the erosion of their civil liberties and
terrorising the general population by the inculcation of an atmosphere
of fear.

Upon you; the Merciful Forgiver has forgiven.”

- Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Wasiti
Ibn al-Qayyim, May Allah be pleased with him, said:
Mankind, with regard to the performance of their prayers, are on five levels:
The First: This is the level of one who is negligent and wrongs his soul. He is the one who falls short in performing wudu properly, performing the prayer on time and within its specified limits, and in fulfilling its essential pillars.
The Second: This is the level of one who guards his habit of offering his prayers on time and within their specified limits, who fulfils their essential pillars and performs his wudu with care. However, his striving (in achieving the above) is wasted due to disturbances in his thoughts during prayer that distract him and turn his attention to other preoccupations and concerns.
Muslims being Arrested for their Dress Code!!!
ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-Claiming he was handcuffed,
arrested and humiliated for wearing his Muslim clothing at Lambert
Airport, a St. Louis cab driver is suing the Metropolitan Taxi
Commission, the City of St. Louis and Whelan Security alleging religious
discrimination.
Raja Naeem claims he was arrested for trespassing last Thursday,
after being cited previously for violating the commission’s dress code,
which requires drivers to wear black pants and a white shirt. His
attorney Drew Baebler says Naeem had been warned about returning the
airport, “‘If you wear this again to the airport’ and he’s dropping off
passengers, ‘you’ll be considered a trespasser and arrested.’ This time
they arrested him and humiliated him by even taking off part of his
religious garb (his kufi or hat) and throwing it on the ground.”
Baebler says Naeem applied for a religious waiver to the dress code,
but was denied, “Who knows how it’s enforced because he’s done
everything to comply with their request.”
Baebler says that when the commission asked for a reference to
confirm that Naeem’s request was legitimate, Naeem put down the Prophet
Muhammad, “But” he says, “that wasn’t good enough.”
The Commission’s General Counsel tells KMOX other Muslims have been
granted exemptions so he’s not sure what happened in Naeem’s case. The
suit seeks an injunction and monetary damages.
Naeem told reporters, “I want to practice my religion as well as I
want to provide for my family.” He says he believes his first
amendment rights are being violated, “I don’t understand how you can
justify somebody wearing his religious clothes getting arrested.”
There’s been no reaction yet from the airport or Whelan Security.
Swearing by something other than Allah!!!
Allah may swear by whatever of His creatures He wills, but His creatures are not permitted to swear by anything other than Allah.
Many people swear all kinds of oaths by things other than Allah, but swearing by something is like glorifying it, and it is not right to glorify anything or anyone other than Allah.
Many people swear all kinds of oaths by things other than Allah, but swearing by something is like glorifying it, and it is not right to glorify anything or anyone other than Allah.
Ibn Umar (ra) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Allah has prohibited that you should swear by your
fathers. If anyone swears, let him swear by Allah, or else remain
silent.” (al-Bukhari; see al-Fath, 11/530)
Ibn Umar (ra) also
reported that the Prophet (pbuh)
said: “Whoever swears by something other than Allah is guilty of shirk.”
(Ahmad, 2/125; see Sahih al-Jaami', 6204)
The Prophet
(pbuh) said: “Whoever swears by
trustworthiness is not one of us.” (Abu Dawud 3253; see also
al-Silsilah al-Sahihah, no. 94)
It is not permitted to swear by the Ka'bah, by trustworthiness, by
honour, by help, by the blessing of so-and-so, by the life of so-and-so,
by the virtue of the Prophet, by the virtue of a wali, by one's father
and mother, by the heads of one's children, etc. All of that is haraam,
and the expiation for doing it is to say La ilaaha ill-Allah, as is
stated in the Sahih hadith: “Whoever swears and says By "al-Laat" or By
"al-Uzza,‟ let him say La ilaaha ill-Allah (there is no god except
Allah).” (al-Bukhari al-Fath, 11/536)
Another briefing on Murji'ah Sect
The Murji'ah Sect Considers Ruling With Others Besides Allah's Law Is Only An Ordinary Vice
Another astray understanding of the Murji’ah sect, according to the
book “Being Aware Of The Deviations Of The Neo-Murji'ah [transl.]”
written by Ustadz Anung Al Hamat, Lc. M.Pd.I, is that, they view kufr
(disbelief ) to be possible only if there exists the factors of juhud
(rejection), as well as istihlal
(legitimation) within the heart. This is as written in the book, page 35.
“They also view that falling into kufr only happens due to the heart, such as the presence of 'juhud' (rejection) and istihlal' (legitimation). Falling into the state Kufr, in their view, has nothing to do with the words or actions.
“They also view that falling into kufr only happens due to the heart, such as the presence of 'juhud' (rejection) and istihlal' (legitimation). Falling into the state Kufr, in their view, has nothing to do with the words or actions.
Someone who humiliates Allah or tramples
on the Qur’an, to them, is not kafir until that person believes in
the legitimation of the action or words. Whereas, the Ahlussunnah
firmly asserts that purely because of the words and actions, one could
become kafir, thrown out from religion as already explained in the books of
'aqeedah and fiqh.”
Besides that, the astray sect of the Neo-Murji’ah that we can see today, consider ruling by other than the law of Allah as not kafir but only the same as doing any other immoral conducts that does not cause one to be out from Islam.
Furthermore, on pages 59-61 of the book, it was stated as below:
