Is it permissible to celebrate Halloween in Islam?

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "You will indeed follow the ways of those before you, hand span by hand span, and an arms length after another. Even if they enter into a lizards hole, you will follow them. We asked, is it the Jews and the Christians? He (SAW) replied, Who else!" [Bukhari]

At-Tirmidhi narrated that Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: "He is not one of us who imitates other than us. Do not imitate the Jews or the Christians."

At-Tabarani and Abu Dawud narrated that Ibn Umar and Hudhayfah (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever imitates a people, he is one of them."

Al-Bayhaqi reported in his Sunan that Anas Bin Maalik (RA) said: "When the Prophet (SAW) came to Medina, the people had two holidays from the days of Jahiliyyah."

He (SAW) said: "When I came to you, you had two days which you used to celebrate in Jahiliyyah. Allah has replaced them for you with better days, the days of slaughter (Adhaa) and the day of fitr."

The Power Of Words BISMILLAH ALLAH HU AKBAR !!!

The Following Presentation Has Been Authored and Published by MERCY SLAUGHTER LLC.
This presentation is Narrated by Sam Kouka - Managing Member, Mercy Slaughter LLC.

I implore all non-Muslims watching this video to take stock of themselves and their lives and to give serious thought to what they see in this video. This man Sam Kouka, himself a revert to Islam (once a non-Muslim), is demonstrating the authentic slaughter. See how the animal submits to Allah's words. At this juncture, you either can decide to believe in the Truth or decide that you are watching fantasy. If you turn away, God says in the Quran: 'Then what Message after this will they believe in?'

And So I Bow...

Running in again, the third time today, she doesn't even stop to catch her breath before jumping into the restroom to make a quick ablution.

Frantically trying to beat time she runs and almost falls, stumbling over her feet. Finally calm and assembled she assumes her normal composure of sincerity and focus.

As she lifts her hands up over her shoulders to symbolically push all material concerns away, she quietly utters three of the most powerful words she has ever known: "God is Greatest". Already absorbed in her prayer her body begins to tremble slightly, as if a rush of emotions is building up waiting to break free.

She bends her head slightly to direct her gaze at the ground and the corner of her head-covering falls softly over her elbow.

Sitting In Iftirash

Most of us do not know the benefits sitting in the iftirash position in terms of health. If we look at the reflexology diagram below, when we are in the iftirash position, our right foot would get pressure on the upper part of the foot and our left foot would get pressure on the lower and middle part of the foot.

The iftirash position produces a complete “reflexology pressure”. But for those who do not straighten their right foot vertically, they get the “reflexology pressure” for certain parts of the body only (not including the brain, neck, throat, heart, voice, sinus, pituitary glands, etc as shown in the diagram). This is unfavorable!! It is better that we try sitting in a correct iftirash position, hopefully that we would get the rewards for following the sunnah of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) as well as achieving a comprehensive health benefits of 'indirect reflexology exercise' for critical areas - brain, neck, throat, etc.

The First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah !

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/d3/c6/cc/d3c6ccd87bbe2db164e1a048a5eeb952.jpg
By our beloved, honored Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril (may Allah hasten his release - AMEEN)

Introduction
The same way Allah (azza wajal) created the months, he chose out of them Ramadan to give extra reward to his servants. By the same token, when he created the days, he chose the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah to be the best days. This season of worship brings many benefits, such as the opportunity to correct one's faults and make up for any shortcomings or anything that one might have missed. Some may have missed the opportunity in Ramadan or after and regret it. Now there is a chance to make up for it. Every one of these special occasions involve some kind of worship through which the slaves may draw closer to Allah (azza wajal). Likewise, every one of these special occasions have some kind of blessing though which Allah (azza wajal) grants His favor and mercy upon whomever He wills.

The happy and successful believer is the one who makes the most of these special months, days and hours attempting to draw closer to Allah through acts of worship; he will most likely be touched by the blessing of Allah and will feel the joy of knowing that he is safe from the flames of Hell.

What are the ten days of Dhul Hijjah ?

Dhul Hijjah, blessed upcoming days

“By the ten nights.” [89:2]
The “ten nights” which Allah is swearing by here, are the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah. [I
bn ‘Abbas, Ibn az-Zubayr, Mujahid and others of the earlier and later generations said that this refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. Ibn Kathîr said: “This is the correct opinion.” (Tafsîr ibn Kathir, 8/413)] Allah swears an oath by them, and swearing an oath by something is indicative of its importance and great benefit.

Ibn Abbas narrated that Prophet (saws) said: “There is no deed more precious in the sight of Allah, or greater in reward, than a good deed done during the ten days of Sacrifice.” He was asked: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing.” [Sahih Bukhari]

So, let us take note of the following:
-Have the intention to spread this important information.
-It is a great chance to collect uncountable hasanat (rewards).
-It is a great chance to renew your relation with Allah.
-Prepare now so you can start from the first night/day of the month. You don’t want to miss a moment of the best days in the sight of Allah.
-Since the Prophet (saws)
referred to the 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah as: “…no days better than these days in the sight of Allah.” [Ahmad, 7/224 – Ahmad Shakir stated that it is sahîh], the scholars have said that these are better than Ramadaan. Therefore, be very vigilant and don’t waste these precious moments. Ask Allah to help you to benefit from this period of His special Grace.

Ask yourself these questions:
-Did you intend to benefit from these days?
-What have you done to prepare for these 10 days?
-Did you prepare a program?
-What is your plan of action?

Here is a brief guide to help you to prepare for the best days of the year:

Very Important & Crucial - DHUL HIJJAH

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/d9/3a/e1/d93ae1b3f85386d501e1f30da7c61d32.jpg
Among the great seasons of worship are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, which Allah has favoured over other days.
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet (saws) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” They said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He (pbuh) said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself for jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.” [Bukhari, 2/457]

Is sacrificing (Udhiyah) Sunnah or Fard?
Based on numerous Sahih Ahadith, Udhiyah is a confirmed Sunnah (Sunnah mu’akkadah) and is not obligatory, according to the majority of fuqaha. Some scholars are of the view that it is obligatory for the one who is able to offer it. This is the view of Abu Hanifah and of Ahmad according to one report, and it is the view favoured by Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyah.

Can one person sacrifice (Udhiyah) on behalf of his Family?
A sacrifice of one sheep is valid on behalf of a man and the members of his household, because of the report narrated by al-Tirmidhi (1505) and Ibn Majah (3147) from Ata ibn Yasaar who said: I asked Abu Ayoub al-Ansari: How were sacrifices offered among you at the time of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)? He said: A man would sacrifice a sheep on behalf of himself and the members of his household, and they would eat some of it and give some to others.
Members of the household include one's wife and children and other relatives if they live in the same house and the head of the household spends on them or they share household expenses and food and drink. But the one who lives in a separate house or has his own income cannot be included in the udhiyah and it is prescribed for him to offer his own sacrifice separately.

Recite the entire Qur’an in no less than seven days

Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (ra) narrated: The Messenger (pbuh) said to me, “Recite the (whole) Qur’an in one month.” I said, “But I am capable to do more than that.” The Messenger (pbuh) said, “Then finish the recitation of the Qur’an in seven days and do not finish it in less than that period.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Commentary:

We learn from the above Hadith the recommended time period in which we should complete the reading of the Whole Qur’an.

And Allah knows best!

Saying ‘Ameen’

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “When the Imam says: ‘Ghair-il-Maghdubi ‘Alaihim Walad-Dhallin [not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (Qur’an 1:7)]’, then you must say, ‘Ameen’, for if one’s utterance of ‘Ameen’ coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Who should lead the Prayer?

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “The most learned in the recitation of the Book of Allah should lead the people in prayer. If they are equal, then the most learned of the Sunnah. If they are equal, the one who emigrated (from Makkah to Madinah) first. If they are equal, then the oldest of them.”
[Sahih Muslim]

Reciting the Qur’an when one is overcome by sleep

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “When one of you stands during the night, being unable to properly recite the Qur’an (i.e., it does not flow on his tongue because he is so sleepy) or understand what he is saying, then let him lie down.
[Sahih Muslim]

Reciting the Qur’an whilst lying down

The Prophet (pbuh) used to lie on Aa’ishah’s (ra) lap and recite Qur’an.
[Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Surahs that made the Prophet's Hair Grey

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “(Surah) Hud (11), Al-Waaqi’ah (56), Al-Mursalaat (77), An-Naba’ (78) and At-Takweer (81) have made my hair grey”
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi – Classed as Sahih by Shaykh Al-Albaani]

The greatest name of Allah

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “The greatest name of Allah appears in three surahs of the Qur’an: in al-Baqarah, Aal ‘Imraan and Ta-Ha.”
[Sunan Ibn Majaah Classed as Hasan by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Sahihah]

Ummu Haram in the Battle of Cyprus

Ummu Haram binti Milhan (ra) was an aunt of Anas bin Malik (ra). The Prophet (pbuh) often visited her and sometimes had his afternoon nap at her place. Once he was sleeping in her house and when he woke up smiling, Ummu Haram asked:
"O Prophet of Allah! you are dearer to me than my parents, tell me what made you smile?"

Prophet (pbuh) said:
"I saw in my dream a few of my followers going for Jihad across the sea. They in their barges looked like Kings sitting on their thrones."

Ummu Haram Said: "O, Prophet of Allah ! Pray that I may also be one among those people."

Prophet (pbuh) replied: "Rest assured, You will be one of them."
He went to sleep again and got up smiling for the second time. On Haram's query he said:
"I again saw some more people going for Jihad across the sea."

The Ferocious Wave Of Akhlaq & Aqeedah Destroyer

There is a ferocious wave that is hitting the Islamic ummah globally, i.e. the wave of the jahiliyyah culture which is destroying the akhlaq and aqeedah of mankind shown through the TV and other medias. This wave in reality is fiercer than the nuclear weapons which always become an international issue. Only that, this ferocious wave, due to its targets, destroys the akhlaq and aqeedah, whereas the one that champions the akhlaq and aqeedah is Islam, thus those who are most concerned and becomes the targets are the Islamic ummah. Though the ferocious wave is hitting the entire world, the talks about it are only up to the level of complaints by the ulama' and the Muslims whose imaan are strong, as well as some scholars who are objective.

The ferocious wave is no other than the jahiliyyah culture that is spread through the various of mass medias, especially the TV, VCD/DVD/CD, radio, magazines, tabloids, newspapers and books, and that destroy the akhlaq and aqeedah. The Islamic world is as if crying in encountering this ferocious wave.

One of the negative influences of the TV is that it stimulates the animalistic instinct in the individuals… and the impact from that is the diminishing of the akhlaq and the very scary errors that are bound to collide with the norms in the society. There are a number of important examples for us from the research done by Charterz (a researcher) about this issue. Amongst them, he said: “Indeed, the display of porno images and the visualization of porno tricks, where a film star instills the feeling of pleasure and stimulates the lusts of the viewers in a very vulgar way for the children and teenagers, are very dangerous.”

The researcher had produced a statistic for the group of films shown for the children, he concluded that:
• 29.6% of children films have the theme of sex.
• 27.4% of children films are about coping with evils.
• 15% of children films revolve around romance in the sense of lusts through sexy scenes.

There are also films which present violence that suggests the acts of revenge, intimidation and brutality.

This argument is supported by the scholars in psychology that too much watching TV programs and films would result in a shock to the souls and inclination towards the emotion of revenge and feeling of satisfaction with the deviated values. (Thibah Al-Yahya, Bashmat ‘alaa waladi/ Signs on my children, Darul Wathan, Riyadh, edition II, 1412H, pg. 28).

Reaching To A Wider Scope

What had been brought to light by the researchers a few years ago apparently did not work as a warning for the destroyers of akhlaq and aqeedah. They instead accelerated their programs more ferociously and extensively in terms of its scope, through the productions of VCD's, DVD’s or CD’s watched by the society, from the children to the grandparents, in every house. Images that destroy religion could be rented by the roadside or bought in the streets for a very cheap price. Videos and computer/CD’s had become the channeling mediums for the culture of the jahili people in order to destroy the akhlaq and aqeedah of the Islamic ummah. Not to mention the porno sites on the internet.

The jahiliyyah culture is clearly dooming mankind to hell. Whereas, Allah SWT orders us to guard ourselves and our families from the fire of hell. Allah says:
“O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.” (Qur’an 66:6).

The Distribution of the Destruction of Akhlaq and Aqeedah

The abundance of presentation traffics that could destroy the aqeedah and akhlaq through various channels makes the people of the world – the Islamic ummah in this discussion – attacked by the satanic destroyers of akhlaq and aqeedah in a variety of shapes and forms. As images, the jahiliyyah culture is presented through the TV’s, films, VCD/DVD’s, CD’s, cinemas, printed images in the forms of photos, books, magazines, etc. The same goes with the contents of stories and reading materials.

Shows, images, sounds and reading materials that destroy the aqeedah and akhlaq have ganged up on the Muslims, and then practiced immediately by the destroyers of aqeedah and akhlaq in the form of their personal selves i.e. behaviors. Next, the society would follow suit and practice the same behaviors, until the Islamic ummah is overwhelmed by the daily practices in their lives that have deviated from the true akhlaq and aqeedah.

From a different perspective, the imitated practices of the personages who support vices are then programmed to be pumped into the society by a variety of ways. One of them is by way of force such as dressing the female shopkeepers in the uniform of the jahiliyyah styles. To the point that the Islamic ummah is pressurized by a myriad of culture that are destructive to the aqeedah and akhlaq, starting from the mere presentations to the practices that are forced upon them (as in wearing the jahiliyyah uniform) .

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has reminded us so that the Islamic ummah would not obey orders from anyone that are in conflict with the laws of Allah SWT. Rasulullah (SAW) said:
"There is no obedience of the creation wherein there is disobedience to the Creator." ( Hadith Ahmad, in his Musnad #20191).

The Attitude of the Islamic Ummah

The Muslim community is also diverse in their reactions to the siege by the ferocious wave. The first group is the concerned ones, their loud voices could be heard in the masjids, majelis of ta’lim and education, in the places of learning and in their own houses. They prohibit their children from watching TV as there is almost no benefit in it, in fact the harms are bigger. They feel the difficulties in educating their children. The possibility is that there is only a few madrassas left that are still relatively more secure than the general education where the surroundings are already polluted with decayed akhlaq.

The Islamic ummah is the first community that cares and wants to protect the aqeedah and akhlaq of their children. They are in this world today like people avoiding attacks from the enemies. They have to look for shelters that are at least free from the various “bullets” that are being shot. Indeed!

The second group is made up of Muslims who are mediocre in their attitude. In silence, these ordinary Muslim people are instead enjoying the assortments of presentations which in fact are destroying their akhlaq and aqeedah. They believe that whatever has been presented to them had already gone through the censor board, that there are others who are responsible, meaning it is okay to watch to the point that they do not feel uncomfortable anymore, much less feel guilty. They even prepare all sorts of snacks to be enjoyed while watching the shows that are destructive but considered as enjoyments. Until their souls are molded to become aficionados of those shows and it makes them want to practice them in their lives. Without them realizing, they are already shifted far from their religion.

The third group is made up of people who are also claiming to be Muslim but are worse than the attitude of the ordinary people mentioned above. They dream of how pleasant it would be if their children become like the performers in the shows, even only as background dancers or whatever role it is for that matter, what’s important is that they can appear in the show. If luck is on their side, they can become top stars who earn lots of money. They do not think about the akhlaq anymore, much less the aqeedah. What’s important is that life is good, lots of money and it is all comforts and luxuries, and be famous if they can. In order to reach this “status”, they dare to sacrifice everything including what their children possessed. Na’udzubillaah. This is not a secret anymore for those who know about it. Na’udzu billah tsumma na’udzu billah.

The first group, those who want to protect the akhlaq and aqeedah, if compared to the third group i.e those who dream of their children or themselves becoming the destroyers of akhlaq and aqeedah, might be balanced in numbers. Then, if the third group – those who becomes the destroyers of akhlaq and aqeedah – combines with the second group i.e. those who feels pleasant with the abundance of the immoral presentations, a majority number would result, to the point that the Muslims who are protecting their akhlaq and aqeedah become the minority.

That is the reality. The proof? Nowadays the society favors the comedians more than the ulama’. They are lauding the singers and dancers more than the ustadzs or sheikhs. Appreciating the film stars more than the Qur’an teacher. And imitating the actors more than the imam of the masjid or khatib.

Reasonably, this expression seems hyperbolic, too dramatized in a clever way but in reality it is very clear. In fact, not only the voices of the ulama’ that are not heard these days, even the Kalamullah is also not heard to the extent that the voices of the singers, comedians, advertisers, etc. are more memorized by the society than the Kalamullah, the verses of Al-Qur'an. Fa nastaghfirulaahal ‘adhim.

The TV shows, etc. have caused the changes in the society drastically. From having a noble and lofty akhlaq to become a society that has no “filter” anymore. They do not know which is ma’ruf (good) and which is munkar (evil and forbidden). In fact, in practice they always prioritize 'the evil and forbidden' than 'the good and ordered by Allah SWT'.

Meaning, mankind has altered the state of their selves. This resulted in the blessings of Allah being revoked due to the changes in the behaviors of mankind itself, from good to become bad.

Allah SWT says:
“Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls).” (Qur’an 13:11).

Intermixing Goodness and Evil

Why is the society unable to differentiate between the good and evil? Because “their main teacher” is the TV. Whereas, the programs on the TV are always a mixture of mishmashes. There are all kinds of lies such as the advertisements which in reality are deceptions, unsuitable with reality but are still shown continuously. These lies are then continued with programs about goodness, advices or religious studies. Then, porno films that are harmful to the akhlaq and aqeedah, and that suggest sadism, are shown. Next, a variety of talks or news that are not guaranteed as educational are shown. To the point that the viewers, especially the children, cannot tell which is good and which is evil. The same goes with the society, it happens all the time, until in the period of some years, the Muslim people who earlier could easily differentiate between the haqq and the bahtil, change to become a people with the mindset that allows every way, to be permissive or ibahiyah (the attitude of tolerating everything without knowing the sure limits), anything goes for them.

The emergence of this permissive society is caused by the presence of a systematic removal of the normal rules i.e. the prohibition of mixing up the haqq (truth) with the bathil (falsehood). What we are presented with is the intermixing of the haqq and the bathil in a continuous way, shown to be watched by the general public. Whereas, Allah SWT forbids the intermixing of the haqq with the bathil:
“And do not mix the the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].” (Qur’an 2:42).

By continuously intermixing the truth with falsehood, it would result in mankind refusing to uphold the haqq/truth and reject the bathil. Next, it would result in the development of the human souls that allow both the haqq and bathil exist side by side.

It would further result in the agreement for the establishment and widespread of bathil, and then it would result in the development of the human souls that are permissive in their viewpoints. And lastly, the human souls that are no longer able to differentiate between the good and evil would develop. Therefore, if the human beings are no longer able to tell which is good and which is bad, which is the haqq and which is the bathil, then where is the imaan?

It is the diminishing of the imaan that is the most critical disaster that is hitting the Islamic ummah due to the mega-scale and systematic, as well as non-stop projects that are thrashed upon the Islamic ummah globally i.e. the projects that mix up the goodness with the evils through various presentations. What efforts have we taken in shielding our imaans?

NO Excuse to miss Salaah !!!

Salaat (prayer) is compulsory and there is absolutely no doubt in its ruling. Salaat is the pillar of our religion and those who do not perform Salaat has destroyed his/her faith. Rasulullah (SAW) stated in a hadith that the difference between a Muslim and a non-Muslim is salaat. Hence, it is feared that those who purposely do not perform salaat may die in a state of Kufur (die as a non-muslim).

The post this time features the importance of Salaat in Islam. First I am presenting new inspiring photos I’ve collected from various sources over the internet which shows people performing prayers in unusual conditions and locations. Then there is a story from the collection of traditions (Riwayat) about Prophet Moses (as) and an adulteress, and hadiths related to the above subject which further stress strongly the importance of not missing Salaat.

The mosques that we always look up to with pride for their beautiful architecture do not guarantee people hurrying to perform Salaah in it, a Salaah at its earliest time and a Salaah which is khushoo, if people still prioritize worldly affairs to such an extent that they often let the chance of performing Salaah within its time slips away... is it worth it?

While everything could be easily available to some people; beautiful and intricate prayer mats, cushy and carpeted mushola and airconditioned mosques can be found everywhere... but others might find themselves not so lucky to be in the right circumstaces to be enjoying all those comforts. Like the Muslim diver below who had to perform the duty underwater and many other Muslims below who know there is no excuse of leaving Salaah. SubhanAllah…

POEM - Importance of Prayers

When things are down
And you are out of your mind
Just Remember Allah is The Merciful.

When your life is in darkness
And nothing is right
Just Remember Through the darkness, Allah is The Light.

When nothing makes sense
And you're heading for demise
Just Remember
It doesn't make sense, but Allah is The Wise.

Importance of Prayer in Muslim’s Life

The second pillar of Islam is Salaah, the requirement to pray five times a day at fixed times. Each Salaah is performed facing towards the Kabah in Mecca. However, in the early days of Islam prior to the hijrah and until the beginning of the seventh month after hijrah Muslims offered Salaah facing towards Jerusalem. Salaat is intended to focus the mind on God; it is a personal communication with God, expressing gratitude and worship. According to the Qur'an (29:40) the benefit of prayer "restrains [one] from shameful and evil deeds". Salaah is compulsory but there are flexibilities under certain circumstances. For example in the case of sickness or lack of space, a worshipper can offer Salaah while sitting or even lying, and the prayer can be shortened when travelling.

[13:15] To GOD prostrates everyone in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their shadows in the mornings and the evenings.

[16:49] To GOD prostrates everything in the heavens and everything on earth - every creature - and so do the angels; without the least arrogance.

[22:18] Do you not realize that to GOD prostrates everyone in the heavens and the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the animals, and many people? Many others among the people are committed to doom. Whomever GOD shames, none will honor him. Everything is in accordance with GOD's will.

Video Games Insult Islam !!!

The following video games are found to be insulting Islam... may the brothers and sisters reading this help spread the words. Let these games insulting Islam be known, so they can be avoided. Read on Insha'Allah !!!

1. “Devil May Cry 3” (for PS2 platform) One scene in the game portrays the door of Kaaba as a door that connects the two worlds; the world of shaytaan and the real world... and the character who opens that door is a c.g.i. character who submitted himself to the power of the black magic (an act forbidden in Islam). In order to open the door, the c.g.i. character has to read a verse... more or less, the verse begins like this, ' O door which connect the world of darkness...' and that verse was read from a book the character holds in his hand. The book appears to be a bible... because in the end of the scene, the character did mention the verse of the 7 deadly sins which could be found in the bible... wrath, sloth, lust, gluttony, and I forgot about the rest..... but I can assure that this was a game of shaytaan.

2. “Counter Strike Condition Zero Deleted” Its First Stage.. the player have to fight and shoot soldiers who are portrayed as Muslims. If we notice.. during the shooting scenes and when hit, we could hear the soldiers shouting ALLAHUAKBAR... JIHADD...

A Dialogue Between Ansarut Tawheed & Ansarut Thaghut In Sijn (Prison)

SubhanAllah an important Discussion by a Brother...

This is a dialogue between me and 2 ansarut thaghut from the Densus 88 Deradicalization Section… This is the second dialogue between me and the two men… I write broadly of what was going on as a mudzakarah of 'ilm for me at a time when no one can be invited for a mudzakarah…

They said: We come to you ustadz to have a discussion with you…

I said: A discussion must have a purpose of seeking the truth, not a formality to carry out the task from your leaders, let alone in the framework of harming the Muslim people. You should just leave your job, because in the Hereafter the leaders that you are now obeying will not help you, in fact you will be mutually cursing each other and claiming innocence…

Hajj as a pastime !

Near the time of the Earthly Doomsday...

Ibn Abass (ra) narrated, The Prophet (pbuh) said” Prayers will be neglected, carnal desires will be pursued, transgressors will become leaders, it will not be possible to distinguish the truthful from the false, telling lies will become desirable, payment of Zakah will be taken as a burden, the believer will be deemed the most disgraceful and he will be pained at seeing evils( all around )and his heart will melt as salt in water but he will not be able to say anything. Rain will do no good it will fall out of season. Males will commit adultery with males , and females with females. Women will be dominate. The offspring will disobey their parents, friends will treat friends badly , sins will be taken lightly. Mosque will have external decorations and beauty and there will be worshipers too but there will be hypocrisy and mutual enmity in their hearts. Then will appear A people from the west who will dominate the weak amongst my people. People will produce copies of the Quran in letters of gold but will not act upon it. The Quran will be recited in a melodious way. Usuary will become rampant. Human blood will have no value, religion will have no helpers Singing women will be on the increase. The rich will perform Hajj as a pastime, the people of the middle classes will do so to conduct business and the poor to beg for charity.
(The Mudkal of Ibn al- Hajj)

Hiding Realities !!!

We think we have believed. We think we are protected from the worst fate: disbelief. Because we have called ourselves Muslims, then we must be believers, right?

According to Ibn Kathir, there are people who may have declared themselves Muslims but still commit disbelief. The following is taken from Tafseer Ibn Kathir:

The Qur'an uses the word Kufr to denote people who cover up or hide realities. The Qur'an uses this word to identify those who denied Allah's favours by not accepting His Dominion and Authority.

Kufr thus is an antonym for Imaan or disbelief in Allah and a Kafir is a nonbeliever.

This type of Kufr is called Al-Kufr al-Akbar or major Kufr.

There are many types of Al-Kufr ul Akbar:

The Phenomenon Of Ignoring The Qur’an

وَقَالَ الرّسُولُ يَرَبّ إِنّ قَوْمِي اتّخَذُواْ هَـَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُوراً “And the Messenger has said: "O my lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as [a thing] ignored (abandoned)."” [Al-Furqan: 30]

Indeed, Allah SWT has honoured this ummah with a lot of privileges. One of those privileges which in fact is the greatest of them, is the revelation of the Qur’an. The Qur’an is the one and only holy book in which its originality could be accounted for. We should be proud of this as the ‘holy’ books of other religions had been contaminated by the human hands. All their ‘holy’ books have gone through changes in the forms of additions or deletions in them. However, after Allah SWT has honoured this ummah, the majority of the ummah do not honour themselves. Whereas, Allah SWT has facilitated them with the source of honours i.e. the Qur’an. This ummah mostly ignores the Qur’an just like what the mushrikeen had done in the past. The Qur’an is getting more neglected and abandoned. Its rules of halal and haram are no longer followed.
The above verse was a form of grievance by Rasul SAW to Allah SWT about the treatments of the Makkan mushrikeen at that time. How strong was the antagonism from his people. How ferocious was their responses of rejection towards the verses of the Qur’an which was recited. They accused Rasul SAW as practicing witchcraft and those verses were his mantras. They also claimed that Rasul SAW was a poet who was expert in stringing up words to make them very beautiful and pleasant to the ears. Rasul SAW was so devastated by all the responses. His complaint was eventually recorded by Allah Himself in His Book. Long after Rasul SAW had gone, our conditions became more critical. The Qur’an is more abandoned, not only by the kuffar people but by the Muslims themselves. Imam Ibnu Katsir in interpreting the above verse mentioned a few phenomena that are happening to this ummah and which could be categorized, including abandoning the Qur’an. See Tafseer Ibnu Katsir Al-Furqan: 30 (Maktabah Shamilah) First, those who, when the Qur’an is recited, intensify their chit-chats and useless talkings, so that they cannot hear the Qur’an. The manner or attitude that must be observed when the Qur’an is recited is by listening with full attentiveness.
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآَنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ "When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy." (Al-A’raf: 204)
The Qur’an is the great Kalamullah. Rahmah from it will not descend except by listening carefully while it is recited. Therefore, for the sake of avoiding inappropriate manners towards the Qur’an, it is best that it is not recited in the majelis (gathering) of amusement as it is most possible that the Qur’an will be ignored in that kind of place. It is only suitable to be recited in the majelis of ‘ilm and zikr. Second, not doing at-tadabbur (to find the full meaning of every word, Ayah and Surah) and no effort to understand them. The aim of reading the Qur’an is to do tadabbur on its contents, and at the same time to understand them. By doing tadabbur we know when we need to smile, when to shed the tears, when to offer supplications or when to ask for protection. Without tadabbur, the Qur’an is just like a thick book that is read but its contents are not understood. Neglecting the effort to do tadabbur on the Qur’an is a form of ignorance towards the Qur’an or perhaps it could even make us fall into the category of people whose inner eyes are locked up. “Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them?” (Muhammad: 24) Third, not applying its teachings by practicing every command and avoiding every prohibition. This Great Book would not show its beauties except when its contents are applied into the reality of life. When a person adapts his akhlaqakhlaq, he would be distinguished in the human eyes. When a person holds tight the obligations of the Qur’an, he would be elevated forever. When a person restrains himself from every prohibition in the Qur’an, his purity would always be protected. Having the nerve to differ from the Qur’an is ignoring the Qur’an. A person must assess how far has his personality been consistent with the Qur’an?
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ "So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee; verily thou art on a Straight Way." (Az-Zukhruf: 43)

Fourth, turning away from it by occupying themselves with poetries, songs, games and gossips. The moments our tongues become more fluent in singing songs or more melodious when singing them, than in intoning the Qur’an, that is a sign that something is not in order within us. The moments our hearts are more touched by poetries or more moved when declaiming them, then we need to ask ourselves: At its height, we are apparently more enthusiastic in listening to other besides the Qur’an. What happens to us? Why are there more songs than murattal in the contents of our hand phones? Why is our DVD collection of the Qur’an not as varied as our collection of songs? Why, in our houses, are the voices of the singers more played than the tilawah by the imams? Fifth, giving priority to other solutions besides the Qur’anic solutions. Indeed, the Qur’an offers us a variety of solutions to life. But why are there still a lot of people, including the Muslims themselves, who are rejecting the Qur’an? The Qur’an is accused as a classical book irrelevant to modern times. Its rules are charged as not as advanced as the positive rules created by the humans. Indeed, the prioritization of the Qur'anic solutions is an effort to honour the Qur’an. On the other hand, giving priority to solutions outside of the Qur’an is seen as ignoring the Qur’an.
إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ "Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not." (Al-Jatsiyah: 18)
When, in the past, Rasul SAW lamented about the negative responses received from his people who were mostly still mushrik, now it seems that the conditions of his ummah are already almost similar to mushrikeen. Would Rasul SAW now cry in his grave over our actions of always ignoring the Qur’an?

Bettering The Street Children

How are the children of the world? Maybe not so good. The fates of children are still miserable. They have become victims of a system implementation, victims of adults' barbarity. Many of the children's rights are ignored. One of them is due to neglect.
Imagine, in Indonesia alone, last year, the number of abandoned and almost abandoned children reaches 17 millions (Rakyat Merdeka, 22/3/10). From that number, 230 thousands of them become street children in the various cities of Indonesia. Thus disclosed by the Indonesian Child Protection Committee Chairman (KPAI), Hadi Supeno.

"Street children, 95 percent of them come from poor families with low education and from environments that are exploitative towards children," he said. Street children are victims of neglect, exploitation and discrimination.

Although the number of abandoned children each year continues to rise, there has been no comprehensive treatment of the phenomenon. The root causes of neglected and street children are the powerlessness of parents and the policies of the State and the whole sector, which make them slumped, rejected and marginalized.

Dedicated to our Beloved Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki (Shaheed Insha'Allah)

http://images.blippitt.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Anwar-al-Awlaki.gif

May Allah accept our beloved Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki as Shaheed & have him enter Jannatul Firdous - Allah huma Ameen.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Some people will come on the Day of Judgement and their Imaan will be outstanding, it's light will shine from their chests and from their right hands.
So it will be said to them, 'Glad tidings for you today, Assalamu 'alaikum and Goodness for you, Enter into it (Jannah) forever!'

So the Angels and the Prophets will be jealous of the Love of Allah for them."

So the Sahabah asked, "Who are they, Ya Rasoolullah?"

He (pbuh) replied, "They are not from us and they are not from you. You are my companions but they are my beloved. They will come after you and will find the Book (the Qur'an) made redundant by the people, and a Sunnah which has been killed by them. So they will grab hold of the Book and the Sunnah and revive them. So they read them and teach them (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) to the people and they will experience in that path a punishment more severe and more ugly than what you (O Sahabah) have experienced. Indeed the Imaan of one of them is equivalent to the Imaan of forty of you. The Shaheed of one of them is equivalent to forty of your Shuhadaa'. Because you found a helper towards the truth (the Prophet) and they will find no helper towards the truth. So they will be surrounded by tyrant rulers in every place, and they will be in the surroundings of Bait-ul-Maqdis (Al-Quds, Masjid al-Aqsa). The Nussrah (Help and Victory) of Allah will come to them, and they will have the honour of it on their hands."

Then he (pbuh) said, "O Allah, give them the Nussrah and make them my close friends in Jannah."
